  • Hey gang, this week I talk about how to dial in exactly the feel you are after with your kick pedal. I also talk briefly about some after-market products one can add to their pedal to further enhance it's feel or speed.
    Products mentioned in this clip are not paid sponsorships, and can be found here;
    Sonor's Perfect Balance pedal:
    www.sonor.com/instruments/drum...
    Canopus Speed Star Bearing:
    canopusdrums.com/en/product/sp...
    Danmar Beaters:
    www.danmarpercussion.com (this one could probably do with an update...)
    and like always, for more information on what I do, go to:

      @@schinbeindrumco no problem, it was exactly the video I was looking for! Out of interest what is your experience with the PB pedal?

      I’ve had mine since shortly after they were introduced, and still play it daily. I toured with it for a couple years as well. I’ve never had a problem with it. To be fair though, I’m not really a heavy stomper; I tend to adjust the pedals appropriately to get the power from the throw rather than stomping into the pedal...

    I would be interested in seeing a comparison video between the Yamaha FP9C and the Sonor Jojo Mayer kick pedals [fully modded and tricked-out, of course]...... Are you up for that?

      Haha probably not. I’d have to get my hands on the Yamaha Pedal first…
