iPhone SE series is known for the outdated hardwares, because apple used the old hardware to reduce the price which are significantly lower compared to the reguler phones that is why we used to see reguler gap between each SE model. iPhone Se 2022 was the iPhone SE 3. Now me might not see the iPhone Se 2024 which means iPhone SE 2025 is going to be the iPhone SE 4.

According to iPhone SE 4 leaks, iPhone SE 4 upgrades are good compared to previous models, because iPhone SE 4 design shared similarities between with both iPhone 14 and iPhone 15. If an iPhone SE 2025 design matches up with the latest iPhone, which is more budget friendly then why not?

I wish they use the mini body. I broke my note 10 recently and were planning to get an se 4 when it releases if it has an mini body. If it don’t guess I’m staying with samsung
Sadly, the iPhone SE 4 is just as big as the iPhone 14. Small body phones are now dead. I still use my iPhone 8 to be honest and I haven't dropped it ever since its release and is still in pristine condition with 98% health, small body iPhone is so small I can't lose grip and it don't slip out of my hand. But my Samsung A53, I always drop it like 30 times now and my screen is now broken.

I think for the iPhone SE4 they should put Touch ID on the power button, if Apple wants it to be at a lower price.
They have never done that and you would they make machines to do so?

@@gabrielefusco2181 you guys clearly didn’t understand what he was saying. in the future, when more products release.. the value of the previous released devices will drop. when the SE 4 releases in the future, the retail price will be roughly about $500 (speculation), 14s and 15s MAY drop in price too with the addition of the 16 releasing soon for a more expensive price.

I rather have 1 good camera than have 3 weak camera. And for the price this will be a decent iphone. Most of the SE users need a cheaper but strong hardver iphone. Why do you need to have 120hz to watch videos? Yeah smoother but its not the end of the world. (I tell this with previous experiences with 120hz samsung phone with 5camera) To be honest I hated to find out which camera is the best for different cases. I just wanted to take photo quickly. And 60hz is only pain if you just turned from 120hz, after 15min you dont give a f😊
But im agreeing that apple wants to pull too much money for a 90/120hz display, it should be the base like other brand

if we look on the iPhone SE 1 which was released in 2016, it had 6s specs, SE 2 2020 had the same chip of the iphone 11 released a year earlier 2019 and finally SE 3 2022 had the same chip of the iphone 13 released in 2021 so which results to say that iPhone SE 4 will have the specs of iPhone 15 if it launches in 2025

I am a one of the few that had the hope to this phone to have a lcd screen with dc dimming u.u sadly I can’t use oled screens, the flickering of the pwm is bad for my eyes, also the extreme contrast

It would use a 60hz panel with a 12mp back camera. It will also come up with a LIGHTNING PORT not a usb-c. There will be a alert slider instead of an action button

Phone is expected to release in 2025, by then every iPhone 16 already adopted the action button, and these are just leaks, it comes from authentic sources, so we might get a action button.
There are only 2 things that I'm sure the upcoming SE 4 will have : 1. It will have USB-C connectivity 2. It will have ' Night vision' for the cameras . As for the rest of the phone's specs, we're all guessing, just like what this guy is doing .

I would think half the features wouldn’t exist. Considering the action button and 14 design would amp up costs, and it to be an affordable phone, they might make it like a 13-12 or keep the home button entirely.

I prefer they should be simply make the 13 mini thicker, this way it might even eliminating the camera bump, then upgrade the chipset and OLED display. Done.

I think this won't be the... cheaper way to get to the apple ecosystem... the way I see it is more like... apple making an iPhone that has latest hardware, ok battery, Face ID, action button and only 1 48mp camera and no depth sensor on back just to make it a bit cheaper... bcs face ID ain't cheap, latest hardware and camera also ain't cheap so... I don't think it'll be the cheaper iPhone... But this is my subjective way looking at it

They don’t do new designs for the SE models. This cad render is from 2019 when the leakers thought the 2020 SE would be the XR design.
The most likely scenario to keep the SE the smallest cheapest option would be to re use the 13 mini shells. Then just throw a new chip in. That way the phone is still small but has a bigger display than the current SE models.
I cant see Apple using a 14 or 15 body for this phone.
Considering the SE still uses a 2017 shell.
If it drops in 2025 it will most likely using a mini shell. The SE is meant to be the smallest cheapest option. Since the mini is gone and will start to be outdated, it makes the most sense.
However the SE line did not gain popularity till 2020 and got its own watch even, being a re-shelled series 4/5 missing features.
So it will be interesting what they do. But considering there is no march event I would say it wont be for another year. As the SE 2022 has an A15 chipset. With apple reusing chipsets. It needs to be 2 generations apart. So with that logic I would say it gets the A17 next year. When the base 16s get the A17 chipset.
