Well Andrew and Claire here I am sitting in my caravan in Somerset and you do a video of where we live, good old Whitley Bay 😂 It is a great place to live and every day during covid I walked along that prom feeling so lucky to live there. The rendezvous cafe you saw on the prom is quite famous, in several Vera episodes and recently Gary Neville did an interview with Anthony Gordon. Well worth a watch. Enjoy your next adventure and take care as always. Paul and Joanne 👍 ♥️ PS Eye kettleby lakes next for us. Plus Bernie Marsden from whitesnake was my fave as is the band 😉
Hi Paul and Joanne, Important question - how’s the brewery? He is some dude that we met in the pub 😂😂😂👍 only joking we paid him! Eye kettleby is on our list for later this year… please review the closest pub 😂😂
@@Stchristopherofatlantis The brewery is a drunken stumble away, different food vendors every day, its fantastic 👌 We will defo give you a heads up on eye kettleby. I would have done the voice over for less and thrown in the barpipes for free 🤣🤣
The last time I was there was in 1983 when I was seconded to the TA in Newcastle and it was bad, but the developers have built in the area and links to Newcastle are better so the contributions from the developers has been used to improve the area for everyone unlike here down South were the money just gets wasted on councillors pet projects. In the 70's we used to have bus trips to Whitely Bay from Peterlee so I do remember the area when it was popular with day trippers from the mining towns.

Opening of lighthouse delayed due to damaged glass lense, so rather than re-erecting scaffolding to fit glass it's up another month, loving the northeast reviews
Ah, that makes sense. North East is marvellous, we love it 👍
Some great filming of the sunset over the sea . Whitley Bay beach looks lovely and noticed how clean everywhere looked , sadly lots of places don’t these days 🫤. Going down souf next time ? hope it wasn’t Leicester, you’ll be disappointed 🤣Cotswolds maybe ? X
Hi. It was super clean and we enjoyed the day out. How are you?
Thanks for watching.

Born in Whitley Bay many years ago, still live here, beside the lighthouse. Not the same as it was unfortunately

Looks like you’re going for a job on Homes Under the Hammer with your topical music choices!
😂😂😂😂 waiting for the phone call from ITV
that quote andy was reading was "tunnel of love" dire straights , oh Mark Knopfler was actually born in Glasgow 😮😅
He was, and loved going to Spanish city for his holidays as a kid 😁😁👍
The last time I was there was in 1983 when I was seconded to the TA in Newcastle and it was bad, but the developers have built in the area and links to Newcastle are better so the contributions from the developers has been used to improve the area for everyone unlike here down South were the money just gets wasted on councillors pet projects. In the 70's we used to have bus trips to Whitely Bay from Peterlee so I do remember the area when it was popular with day trippers from the mining towns.
Hi. It was a fab place, the beach was great and we really enjoyed our day
