To be honest, the draft of G2 seems so weird with four AP champs and scaling ADC with no dmg for 20 minutes.
MDK relying on group fights too much , without getting a significant gold lead and/or map prio out of it, is their Achilles heel - otherwise a very strong outing from them

You need to first understand what inting means and then rewatch the series. Securing vision while MDK manages to catch is what Mikyx has to do while MDK did well to catch him doing so. But does the catch matter when he’s worth a cannon minion? Apparently not much.

@@Kaylerca I would even argue that running after Mikyx with 3-4 ppl two or three times cost them the match. He wasn't really worth any gold and it left the map to Caps , Yikes and BB almost free to farm.

Varus has to buy serildas WAY earlier. It did cost him a ton of damage.
Im pretty sure bad itemization cost them this game.
What a throw. Even putting aside the top lane disaster, they had a feed but squishy ADC so what do they do? Instead of looking for picks they willingly opt into teamfights where varus can't deal any damage because he gets immediately deleted. And they don't even peel for him in those tfs! One tf they completely split from their adc and went chasing after someone irrelevant. They really wanted to lose that game.
Varus also refused to buy serildas, which did cost him a ton in damage.
You need to get some % pen, if you want to stay relevant in lategame.
@@tomwanders6022 Maybe but ultimately none of your items matter if you have to stay so far away (to avoid getting cc'd and killed) that you can't actually deal any damage to the enemies.
Myrwin was pretty much the reason why they lost games 2-4

@@nps1024this! I feel like people follow to hard into their narratives, when that’s just not what the team did. They just didn’t get to get Leads in other roles, because jayce fell behind and varus refused to build serildas 3rd or 4th, rendering his damage extremely low.

Going into the series, I hoped that the rookies of MDK would be somewhat competitive vs the veterans of G2, but didn't expect much. That being said, I did NOT expect Elyoya to be a literal non-factor in most of the games. Even Game 3, where he got a ton of kills on Bel'veth... he had 5 early kills and could not convert that into a carry. Hopefully they come back better for Spring. Congrats to G2. BrokenBlade had a monster series. Yike hard carried Game 3. Caps made some great picks against Supa time and time again. Hans looks amazing Game 2 and 3. I have legit no idea how Mikyx continues to win MVPs. The man is the weakest link in G2.
micky is a mastermind, not so much in this game though. Here, MDK just inted by committing 4 members every time to kill 0/8 naut, who will always be useful due to the sheer amount of guaranteed CC, while other G2 members got shit done on other parts of the map.
@@allat0nce Mikyx often falls for his own hubris that he's fine to solo invade and solo place vision and gets caught. Only towards the end was him inting actually turning the game around.

If any other champ in the in the game had 7 kills at 20 mins this game would be over but its on an adc and it looks completely uselss.

and once again lethality varus when should be on hit strikes again i get they were expecting a jayce to exist this game but i feel g2 had way to many ways to get on supa anyways even if jayce went even
If supa can’t play when he’s lethality longest range ADC in game, how will he be able to auto more than 2 times going on hit giga short range XDD??? Are u okay
@@atalkingrockyidk what game you watched but the first 2 of his deaths he was alive for a lot longer then should've been allowed. A shieldbow berserkers and botrk kill that same gragas in that time. a varus with a 12 second cooldown on his Q that does 1/5th of gragas' hp doesn't. so are you okay? have the tanks in your game been so bad that you can only auto att twice per teamfight? i couldn't imagine comparing my own in game experiences to that of pro play xDD???? oh and if you think the on hit is more expensive it's only 1k gold more which he would've gotten from killing the gragas the first time he engaged
That's why adc role completely sucks. The pressure is always on you, you try to do your best job possible sweating every game, then 5 gangoons just jump and murder you.
Congrats G2 but I sincerely hope other teams start to up their games to at least pose a challenge. LEC is starting to get predictable and boring.

yeah G2 is the only real team on LEC and it hurts them a lot when it comes to international stage..... I honestly think they can contest against east team if LEC has one or two team that can make G2 sweat
Yes, i wonder why they not play some heroes. If there where a random picks it will be a lot more entertained. Or may be something like in 5 of 5 to not use the heroes from the first game and so on.
