We´re heading towards a game on thursday, thoughts are different places, but i´m really looking forward to training , because when you´re training you only think about football in that moment, the problem is when you´re sitting alone, thoughts are passing by and pictures appear in your mind, so therefore i´m really looking forward to training. As a group we´ve now been through an intense situation, so it´s good that we as a group can have a training session together and think about other stuff. We communicate well with each other and as a group we´re extremely happy when we´re together, we use each others support and rely on each other. It´s been amazing to see the support and respect given to this situation, it´s something we´re really greatfull for. I think what happened during the game is a great symbol of how we are as a team, everyone can say that their team has a great team-spirit, and i think it´s hard to put a word on, but this situation is a great symbol of the friendships we have together and that we´re together through thick and thin. So now we have a lot of work infront of us, and there are no one i´d rather be in this position with than with these boys. It will be difficult to get over this challenge, but we´ve been in difficult situations before. Now everything relies on the strength, togetherness and what it is to be danish standing side by side and fight for each other, this is the time to show it. Today we´re heading out training for the first time, and i think it´ll be nice to feel the ball and try to get some of that happiness/excitement back, and i choose to have a positive mindset with Christian being well and recovering, now we´ll try and go out for him. I always sense a great impact from the fans and in thaty moment we were all in the same situation, we were all witrnessing what happened. And there wore things we as players couldn´t do, we were "powerless", so it´s been great to feel the love and understanding from the fans, the finnish fans, fans from all around the world and the danish royal family. This is a situation that has affected everyone and it´s been incredible to witness the reaction from all around the world.
We´ve always talked about how amazing this group is, and it can sometimes be a bit boring to listen to how amazing we think we are, but when things like this happen you see how people react, you can see the leaders we have in this squad, how we stand together and how we helpo each other through thick and thin. our togetherness has always been the most important thing that´s what it is to be danish to go out there and give everything no matter the circumstances. there are no guidelines on how to react in these situations, but we gave everything we had, sometimes it´s not enough on the pitch as seen against finland, but the human aspect it was more than enough."
