i first heard this song many yrs ago on a Sunday morning on my home from work on my local radio (99.1 in Macon Ga) when i had to pull over on the side of the rd because i was crying so hard. The lord had spoke to me that morning and i truly listened to him so thank you mr tony gore and majesty for writing that song may god continue to bless you thru your music ministry Michael Jenkins warner robins ga
My name is Beth. I just need to set the record straight on an error in some of the comments. Tony Gore and Majesty DID NOT write Teardrops. My Daddy, Roy E. Price did. He sold the rights to Mr. Gore because, by the time it was written, he had lost his voice. He had cancer that took his voice so he whispered most all the time. He just wanted that message in somebody's life. It's not uncommon to assume that the singer writes his music, and sometimes they do. This time however, that isn't the case. My Daddy had Squamous cell carcinoma and he passed on to be with Jesus February of 2009.
Bless your heart, Beth. I know that no matter how much time passes, it never really gets any easier. I am thankful that your daddy listened to the Lord, and penned this song. It's a good 'un, and a blessing!
Tony Gore was always one of my favorites. As far as I'm concerned he's always been top of the class.

I believe it was the Holy Spirit using your Dad! IT IS A POWERFUL SONG!
I just ate dinner at his BBQ restaurant in Sevierville, TN. Yummy
What is the name of it?
@@ptmy8590 Tony Gore's Smoky Mountain BBQ & Grill.
@@kahanakahuna1470 Thanks. I just looked it up. Looks good.
@@ptmy8590 It's good, but a bit pricey for a BBQ restaurant.
@@kahanakahuna1470 I saw the prices and thought the same thing. I think because of where it is the prices are higher than normal.
