Born and raised in LA and a Dodgers fan since 1981! Although I've since moved to NoCal ( booooo Giants ) for work purposes I make it a point to visit "Blue Heaven on Earth" at least a couple games per year. Still excites me and fills my heart with joy, haha. Absolutely love that place and what ownership has done to improve the experience through the years. Obviously the cost has sky rocketed for every thing involved in attending games but that's the price you pay for quality entertainment and for some of the best baseball players in the World to wear Dodgers blue. The only issue I have with the stadium is in the pavilion/bleachers. Why they haven't upgraded that cheap wooden ( park benches ) they call seats is beyond comprehension. They should be individual cushioned seats like in the rest of the ball park. Anyway, rant over! Go Los Angeles Dodgers, let's make 2025 and beyond just as memorable as 2024 was and bring home another World Series Championship.
Best things: the symmetry and elegant lines of the field and stands; the Googie style outfield concourse and botanical areas; the upper deck peristyle/top of the park with views towards DTLA; views of the San Gabriels; the weather, of course.
I was surprised it hold the most attendance figures. I thought they should make the outfield bleachers bigger. Like I've seen in stadiums back east. 56,000 people wow!
Because you got your ass beat. And they felt sorry for you and that generic looking stadium. And yes, I have attended a few games there. PEACE to you all!
It's always nettings on certain areas & caution signs near dangerous areas. Because baseballs aren't soft and some places have crevices The Dodger Stadium should consider glittering the parking lot grounds like they did with the Hollywood Strip during the mid 1990s. It looked beautiful during night
Love Ohtani don’t get me wrong. But man. His presence has made LA 20x more packed. Went to a couple games last season. And man to many people. Most don’t even watch baseball. Just there for a pic for social media. Smh. Love you tho Ohtani haha.
Fix the bleacher seating and install regular seats would go a long way to helping. Also, the video boards may be new, but the shape is dated and the boards could be larger to keep up with the times. Not everything needs to be grandfathered in.
I, too, wish the boards (Jumbotron) were a lot bigger but i wonder if they do that for safety reasons due to earthquakes since its right next to the seats and crowds.
Its gets hot in the summer but im not a fan of those color seats. I know they did it to make a look like the beach but it will look more modern with a dark blue color for all the seats. But i know its a historic ballpark.
I'm a lifelong Mets fan who has lived in LA since 2001, and Dodger Stadium is my favorite park in the country! Even better than Boston and Chicago!!!
what was the seating capacity of shea stadium?
Cap the stadium is to basic they need to add more stuff for the fans. It’s literally almost sold out most games they can do better.
Please bring back the Think Blue Letters ! Those were a one of a kind ICONIC letters !
Yeah those were dope
I forgot about that!
The 76 GAS station on the parking lot
Great video showing the best stadium in America.

Nothing like Dodger stadium at sunset

Blue Heaven on Earth -Tommy Lasorda
They should build a hotel in that parking lot
It’s “MLB” not “The MLB”. Video lost all credibility at that moment
MLB. Not “the MLB”.
