Man, now I'm really craving some Sausagebaconham, bacon just makes everything better! The dio looks great, that interior really adds a lot of authenticity to the whole scene!
Thank you so much, although if you’re looking for that bacon I think Ewald’s Butchers have just run out…..🥓🥺 Glad you like the dio, that Miniart interior kit really helps create a nice scene - thanks for the comment👍
Good Day Modelcomrade. Looks Great.. The painting from the building with the Signs from the butcher Shop is exelent. The figures too.. The plan for continued is good. I hope to see soon the final 😊 Have a nice weekend
Hi Christian, pleased you liked it. I think the building is much better now with the extras done to it, the rest is moving along quite nicely too so the final video wont be too (too) long away.....☺
Cheers Mike, thanks for that. It’s just a little time & practise, & using others work to inspire. I don’t even come close to so much stuff I see, but it’s nice to try😁 Same for the channel, slowly but surely…. Thanks for commenting👍
Hi, thanks. Id love to do more videos but time is always a problem...😕. Think I've done 7 in the last 12 months, so just under 1 every 2 months, which is better than I thought... Always updating progress on Instagram & Facebook though, thanks for commenting! 🤗
So much detail in that butcher's building.....jaw dropping! The whole project is awesome and it's not even completed.....so looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the final episode. Great idea gluing a coin at the bottom of the piece of wood for stability....I've borrowed that idea :)
Thanks so much Robbo, yeah pleased with how the butchers turned out, the concrete paste makes a huge difference👌 It’s all coming together now, can start on the last few details like the boys 37mm flak gun defensive position. You can have the coin idea, I pinched it off someone else myself 😁😁👍
Hi Simon Smashing piece of work mate! Definitely worth the wait. Really looking forward to seeing part 3, the conclusion. Thanks so much again for sharing your fantastic video presentation ❤😊
Hi Greg, thanks mate! Yeah pleased with how the butchers turned out, Radio Shop across the street should look ok too eventually…. Thankful for the Internet & it’s research facilities- feel like an expert now on 1940s radio sets…😁😆📻
Looks really nice! I myself started building D-Day diorama 😁 but when it comes to paintint larger figures (such as these) i would rather superglue them to a piece of wood. Anyway, awaiting part 3!
Thanks so much Mark, that office kit is excellent, as are all of Miniart’s accessories kits👌 Really helped with the detailing in all my recent dioramas…. Thanks for commenting 🙂👍
Nice to see the progress of this masterful work. Wonderfully executed. It's definitely going to be an absolute showpiece, Simon. Simply good!! Best wishes, Joachim
Hey Joachim, thanks mate…. Happy with how it’s all progressing, working now on the ‘Radio Shop’ which should suit the street nicely too. Thanks as always for commenting 🙂👍
😄 that's funny Jo, I'm impressed! The 3 photos are all old photos of where I live here in Jersey, kinda like a personal nod to where I'm from... Honestly didn't think anyone would notice since they were so small, the 2 soldiers in that photo are actually British soldiers outside our 'Grand Hotel' in WW1..... Just thought it would be a bit ironic in a German town house, my sense of humour I suppose! Well done for spotting it!💯😉👍
This gives me ideas for a future scene of the Ardennes '44... love specially the room with a view. Where did you find the chair and the 'écritoire' (writing cabinet) as it's inspires me for part of that scene.... 😊
The complete room furniture is a Miniart kit #35644. They have a few other similar sets too, #35646 is another👍Glad you liked the room, it was good to put together & then mess up a little! Good luck with your Ardennes🙂
It did get me actually thinking I may need something on that corner rather than leave it empty🤔 Think I’ve got a spare light too, will surely consider it👍

Thanks Mike, tbh they are also attached with a spot of superglue as well as the pin - just for the added stability......😊👍
Your diorama is progressing very nicely Simon. What a great little kit that home office is, another master craft by you.
Thanks so much Mark, that office kit is excellent, as are all of Miniart’s accessories kits👌 Really helped with the detailing in all my recent dioramas…. Thanks for commenting 🙂👍

I was wondering about the photo in the corner room above the desk, those white belts made me curious about who these soldiers are in the picture.

Are there any street lights in the scene ????
No not planning to have any, I think a few street signs will be enough👍
@@Barbarossamodels I would personally consider 1 on a corner, you can put signs on the post
It did get me actually thinking I may need something on that corner rather than leave it empty🤔 Think I’ve got a spare light too, will surely consider it👍
