Thank you for also mentioning the tone number before playing each voice (for most of them, anyway). Some UA-camrs often forget to tell the audience what tone they are currently playing and it's rather frustrating. Great video, as always. You deserve a lot more subscribers because the quality of your content is really higher than many other similar channels.
Very very good explanation!! I was oriented to buying a Korg Pa700...but I was not satisfied by the piano sound... So I changed my mind for a Yamaha psr sx700...Now i decided (after your explanation) to buy This Casio CTX 5000... In my opinion (if i consider only the sounds) this is best choice! Thank you again! ...It's far more useful to listen to your explanations instead of going to a music shop without a musician that could emphasize (as you did) a lot of gems like touch response and so on!!
Great video. Great sound. The AIX sound chip is a huge upgrade. I've watched a video about Nord piano and I like the sound of it. CT-X series are also great and the price is very much cheaper. I play guitar my whole life but never got a chance to learn piano so I bought a Casio CA-301 from the garage sale for $55. LOL. Well, just for practice. Brand new keyboards are still expensive for me here in the Philippines.
Jeremy the review is excellent, one question:Which board has better sounds WK 7600 or CTX 5000? I’m considering WK because of 76 keys but I’m not sure what this AIX brings?
What sounds from a casio keyboard. Only a few years before we dreamed of such sounds, in past only in expensive Akai ( or other stuff) samplers available. Now in a cheap keyboard. Amazing.
Very nice demo..I noticed you are now more liking towards Casio CTX series than Yamaha PSR series .purely because of its quality improvements recently..Correct? I just bought CT-X 9000 and its really a master-piece.
Nice demo .I have to say I've owned expensive workstation synthesisers and this Casio equals them in sound .Although I'm more a synthesiser sound user the Casio is more like a workstation ,plus arranger keyboard so you don't even need accompaniments you can create from scratch in its 16 track sequencer ,it's features put it head and shoulders of other keyboards in this or higher price ranges .
Man, do you think this keyboard can replace or at least match a Roland Juno Di in the sounds? I have a Roland XPS-10 (for 4 years), it's like a substitute for the Juno Di in some markets. Good synth. But the keys, the lack of speakers (I study a lot with it) and the lack of a editor makes the XPS-10 not so much appealing to me. This Casio can cover almost everything I need on a keyboard, apart from PC editor. Do you think it's a good option for changing?
Thank you for your support!! I bought PSR 670, AMAZING KEYBOARD very beautiful voices, above all very very intuitive layout, you really don't need manual!!
Hi, I watch your videos on arrangers. Could you please upload few videos on how to play Indian percussion instruments directly (not rythms) on CTX 9000, Rolan, Yamaha, and CORG keyboards. It will help us understand which keyboard we should choose.
Jeremy, can you please demo the mic input on this board? Put the vocals thru the effects on the board. Work up a song with drums. bass and keys then sing lead and add two background harmonies or bring in a singer so we can see what this board is capable of. Thanks for your time on this.
The Casio CT-X5000 may be packed with great sounding voices. However, I think that the sounds of the Korg microArranger are far more advanced than the sounds of the Casio CT-X5000! Especially the pianos and EP's.
Jeremy please help me, im trying to decide between the ctx5000, ke-50 or psr s 670. I dont care to much about editing arrange or capabilitys, but voices quality and great play feeling. I have an idea but let me know what you think. Best Vibes
I agree , a lot of features for the money. The only problem is that they just don't quite hit the mark. The piano for example, when played in the lower region sounds fine, however the entire range suffers from a complete lack of natural sustain. It totally ruins the sound of the piano. I am not talking about holding down the sustain pedal, I am talking about natural sustain that will lead one note to another without the use of the pedal. Just my opinion. I do like your videos very much. You do a great job.
Hello ! thanks for the video @Jeremy See ! Does this keyboard reproduce the sounds of the Yamaha Reface CP ? ( Rhodes, Clavinet, Wurliter ) ? as good as the Reface CP ? Thank you for your help
Hi Jeremy good day to you. I am Ryan and a long-time viewer of yours and I really appreciate what you have contributed to the music industry. A couple of years ago I bought the Casio CT-X5000 (because of this video) but after about 9 months I decided to sell it and bought a Korg D1. The reason for this is the RH3 keybed. I have to be honest, I am kinda missing the sounds of the CT-X5000 and thinking of buying it again. My plan is to use the keybed of my Korg D1, connect it with the MIDI of CT-X5000 so I can use the built-in sounds. What I would like to ask you is if this setup is possible considering that the CT-X5000 has a MIDI USB port and the D1 has a 5-pin MIDI Connector if I use a MIDI to USB cable such as the "Roland UM-One MK2 USB MIDI Interface"? If this will work then I will have a good keybed from the D1 and an excellent sound library of the CT-X5000. Hope you could help me out on this. Thank you. 🙏
Nice video Jeremee, a have a question. How do you record the sound of your piano in the computer. How do you get that hight quality sound recorded? I perfectly hear that beautiful stereo sound on E Pianos on CT X 5000
wow. this video makes me torn apart to choose between this or pse463. beautiful voice and informative video indeed. greetings from neighbour country, Indonesia.
Hi everybody. This clip is super. I prefer to buy with this model a kind of a metallic sustain pedal. It's heavy enough and takes own place on the floor. Also the touch is natural. Enjoy..
hi jeremy hope you and family are well during this dark time i just wanted to know does the mic input support 48v phantom power if not what dynamic mic would you advise ? thank you for all your videos god bless x
Hi Jeremy nice demonstration 👍 I find that the piano’s and E piano’s are way better on the CT-X keyboards than on the Yamaha PSR E series. The Sweet! harmonica, on the other hand, sounds more natural to my ears than its Casio equivalent. That being said, I still find that the user interface of the CT-X3000/5000 is daunting so I am considering the CT-X800 (still hesitating between the 800, the CT-X3000 or the Yamaha PSR E463... no perfect keyboard in this price range anyway). The real drawback of the CT-X800 is that there is no way to adjust the relative volume of the Upper1, Upper2 and Lower voices. Also, this is a point of detail, but I don’t understand why the CT-X800 doesn’t have an harmonica patch. The harmonica voice is a must for many blues and rock tunes. I suppose one could use an accordion instead but this is not quite the same thing. Are you going to make a more extensive demonstration of some of the rhythms? As you know, I am particularly interested both by the jazz rhythms, as well as by the more “modern” rhythms in the Pop and Dance category. Wishing you a nice weekend 😎
You are right, Vinciane. Harmonica and Sax to me, Yamaha is better. The Casio French Accordion is really good to me. I suggest you go for minimum of CT-X3000. The 800 will not satisfy you. I believe a few other videos had showcased ALL the rhythms in a 3 hour video. 😅
Jeremy See Yes I know this guy is showcasing all sounds and styles from all sorts of keyboards but it is not very exciting, he just plays some boring chord progressions. Hi Jeremy, I listen to a lot of your videos, all great. Wonder if you can help me find what I am looking for. Trying to find a portable keyboard (preferably with battery powered option) to take to mostly acoustic jams. What I need is the best acoustic piano and Rhodes sounds with the clearest onboard speakers. Had the Korg EK 50, but the AC sound is not that great. Tried Yamaha PSR EW 425, just not quite good enough for acoustic piano sound through the onboard speakers. Maybe what I need doesn't exist, but if it does, I bet you'd know what it is. Doesn't have to be a budget keyboard, I'll spend more to get what I need. Thanks in advance, you rock.
Can you adjust the amount of overdrive/distortion on the organ sounds, to make it sound more like the heavy overdrive organ in Deep Purple songs like Smoke on the Water and Highway Star?
I’ve got two questions to ask. If I wanted to hear the rhythm tracks on the keyboard, what should I do? Second question is, what number was that electric piano that you call the Dizzy electric piano? It sounds so pretty.
Jeremy, is there a way to adjust the speed of the rotary dsp on this or any of the other less expensive Casio arrangers in real time? I like this feature in keyboards that have it such as my Korg E,50.

Hello Jeremy. I'm going to buy the casio ctx 5000, but in the same time i was thinking about Korg I3. Could you please tell for you wich is the best about touch response and keyboard quality? Many thanks
HI, I am looking for a keyboard in a budget between 150 and 250 dollars for mostly playing rock/metal songs. I played piano for 10 years, but i am not sure which keyboard is the most suitable for my casual play (since trying to play rock covers on piano is not the best xD).
Hi Jeremy...Need some help on choosing my first keyboard. I'm from India and I'm confused between CTX 9000IN and WK6600. WK6600 is 76 keys Workstation and CTX 9000in is a 61 Key Arranger
Do u think this is a good step up from my casio wk7500 or should i go over board and get the yamahaPsr sx700? I do gospel rock and i want the bass n drums to sound more realistic.
I have the Cts 500 and it sounds very decent. The user interface is a bit ham fisted and not that intuitive but you get used to it. I wish the effects section was a bit eaisier to use and setup chains. One thing Casio really need to look at is the way the manual is written, it's just not super clear in certain places.
Hi, sir. Is there any significant difference between psr e353 and psr e363? Those models are only affordable for me. Hope you'll respond. Thank you and more power!!! God bless you, sir
Harmonica the only sound that doesn't sound like harmonica to me....might need some filters settings to achieve that.... but anyway nice keyboard. For this price range at least than what others offering. :)
hi jeremy , I am from INDIA , i want to buy a keyboard and my choice is yamaha psr e463 , psr I 455 and casio ctx 9000in ...please suggest me which keyboard has good sound and I should buy ? (any other keyboard you suggest about this price range ,, this ctx catching my eye though I am honestly a YAMAHA lover)
Jeremy can you please make a video of how to tightening up the loose key in Casio CTX 5000/9000in version please. I used it only for 1 months and taken it into Yamaha Carry Bag once. From yesterday, i hear clunking or clicking sound when i press certain keys across the keyboard. I am learning to be a piano player, so i think some of my presses are strong or not as expected. So, in this case what to do? Is it a manufacturing defect? If not, how can i fix it? As i imported it from another country, i cant get it to any warranty station. So, please help me here. Just got the keyboard from your suggestion, need your help badly.
Can a person play classical on it? l saw a review of the ct1 where the guy said you can’t play classical on the ct1. That’s why Im looking at the ctx5000. Also, l liked how you can play the ct1 keys rapidly, the same note, can you do that with the ctx5000?
Have you ever tried the Yamaha MX-49/61? I like the size, formfactor, audio and midi interface over USB, good price, it sounds good too. And possibly more intuitive than this CT-X. I would love to hear what you think about it, especially when it comes to the sound quality of the Electric Piano's, I'm mostly looking for something with Electric Piano sounds and I can't decide, this CT-X sounds very impressive, but the clunky user interface is a bit offputting. I hate menu diving.
Hi. Please, make review for KORG KROSS2. And, please, do consider the keyboard mechanism more. There is no review that put more effort for key's. Thx. :)
how is the keybed itslef? ive heard it has more than one setting but in your korg ek 50 review you raved about the keybed quality, which is better and is there much of a difference?
Hi Jeremy I tried searching this keyboard in India however it’s not available can u let me know any equivalent keyboard in the same price range and Good sounds in Casio or Kong Or Roland
Hi jeremy see, is better ctx 5000 than ew410? ¿Why? I dont know that piano must buy. I know that ew410 have 76 and ctx 5000 have 61 keys. Help me to choose between this 2 models please.
Hi Jeremy, if you compare only the voices of this one and the available voices of CT-X 700/800 - without putting effects to it - is the sound quality the same besides the poor speakers in the cheaper ones? Must be the same AIX chip... What is your opinion here ?
Thank you for also mentioning the tone number before playing each voice (for most of them, anyway). It is not clear from the manual I downloaded.
Why it is not available in India
MX61 is great handy board if you don't need the arranger features or built in speakers. Very decent sounds for an affordable price.
Can i play loops like Roland xps 10 in ctx 9000in
Do u think Casio will make a 73 or 76 key version?
dat authentic accordion sound
Hi. Please, make review for KORG KROSS2. And, please, do consider the keyboard mechanism more. There is no review that put more effort for key's. Thx. :)
Is Casio ctx 5000 a arranger keyboard ?
Yes
@@JeremySee Thanks for your reply
2:01 song plz
how is the keybed itslef? ive heard it has more than one setting but in your korg ek 50 review you raved about the keybed quality, which is better and is there much of a difference?
I prefer EK50 keybed
@@JeremySee ok thanks, have you tried the different key bed settings? Im trying to work out which to buy thats all.
Yes, do watch my videos. I have BOTH the EK-50 and the CT-X5000. EK-50 has a better keybed. CT-X5000 has way more features though.
@@JeremySee thanks i appreciate it
What's the price in India?
Is Quick sample feature available in casio ctx9000in? OR how can I use this feature in ctx9000in? Plz
No quick sample 9000IN
The good thing for poor people like me is that the ctx 700/800 has the same pianos with the same quality. Its because both have the same aix processor

Hi jeremy see, is better ctx 5000 than ew410? ¿Why? I dont know that piano must buy. I know that ew410 have 76 and ctx 5000 have 61 keys. Help me to choose between this 2 models please.
I bought one. No experience with it yet.
en español por favor
Who better ,yamaha mm6 or Casio ctx 5000?
CT-X5000
Yamaha mm6 is old. I own a yamaha mm8 though. (88 key version)
Hi Jeremy, if you compare only the voices of this one and the available voices of CT-X 700/800 - without putting effects to it - is the sound quality the same besides the poor speakers in the cheaper ones? Must be the same AIX chip... What is your opinion here ?
Just to tell you the link to buy the ct x 5000 is not the good one... 😉👍👏
❤👍🏾
