Really beautiful! I love the non-literal interpretation of a Halloween design. It's great seeing more of Melissa, and I really like how Tracy asks questions she knows WE would want to know. Super informative when these two get together. Melissa mentioned possibly doing a video on how to apply gel to correct a nail that's growing out curved....that would be amazing!

Every video from Young Nails gets me so excited and makes my day!!!!!!! (Warning, this is a long, emotional comment, lol)👀 When I see who I personally call (& she has a few titles lol) Because she really is the "Queen of Gel" "Queen of Dimensions" & "The Glitter Goddess" I REALLY get excited because I do Builder Gels all the time, and Acrylic sometimes.. But, I know she does gels all the time, as well and she has taught me so much on top of what Greg, Tracy, & Stephanie has, now, I am unstoppable with all this knowledge! But, I have noticed that when I watch different nail channels, all us tend to have a favorite theme we love to do the most, and when I first started a couple of years ago, I got some 3D cats eyes polishes that is a Galaxy theme, and I was so obsessed and I still am! Lol! I have stickers that have Stars, planets, Constellations, etc, and I just love making them with a black background and add multi colored and size glitters and such, but, when, I first saw her doing dimensional nails, I am just obsessed!!!! You not only have a beautiful nail but as they just said, you can move your nails around and it's just SO MEZMERING, & Because it's layered/multi dimensional, it's not like looking at a flat design, so you'll never getting bored looking at them, them, know what I'm saying!? Lol It's like looking into 1 of those huge aquariums, where you move your head and it's dimensional, or looking into a telescope that's pointing into a Galaxy or maybe even a wormhole lol! Sorry for the extremely long comment, but I cant help myself when I type what I'm feeling lol! But, is because of ALL OF YOU FROM YOUNG NAILS, You have all helped me so much with my extreme depression and getting out of that rut of having no desire, no mental or physical will to do anything, and you really all have helped me! Every single day I wake up ACTUALLY EXCITED to go play with all my nail stuff, and make myself beautiful nails while watching your videos!!!! So, thank you, and I love ya all ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I would love to see a video on ski slope Nails. How to put a form on while trying to it straight from the side walls, building a proper apex and keeping the free edge thin, and then repairing the sides of the free edge when you lose the straight sidewalls as it grows out. Am I making sense? If there is already a video concerning these type of nails I would really love to know which one it is Thank you so much for all the work you do for us Nail Tech‘s! Personally after 12+ years in the industry I constantly love to learn and grow as an artist. Due to Covid Young Nails gives us the education we need without being able to travel. ❤️
I love it! Halloween nails for adults! What's on that pinkie nail btw? It's gorgeous too! And I'm loving that big ol honking ring, Melissa. I could never wear something like that though because I already know I'd do myself an injury haha
What happens if you file into the design? For example, the piece sticking up - sometimes it file into the design as i feel the nail is still “too thick”. Also, I finish file with a 180 grit, is that considered buffing? I always thought 180 was still quite course. I would also love to see you file these nails and how you shape them! Love all your videos! So extremely informative!
Generally, if you create your dimensional layers thin enough and cap in a clear product, this will encase your design so you don't file it out. However, if you do file too much and remove part of the design, you may be able to replace or fill in areas with glitter as you apply the top coat layer. In some dimensional designs, if the mylar etc is sticking up and you file part of it out, that's ok, you will just seal it with the top coat. When you do your finish filing, we recommend a 150 grit file rather than a 180, especially if you are top coating with a gel top coat. If you file the nail too smooth, your gel top coat may have more of a tendency to chip off.
What are you wearing on your nails here?? Beauty vs Reality?? I just bought that color & it looks the same as yours lol I hope so! I havent used it yet. It's gorgeous.
These are gorgeous, only I wish they did a deep orange instead of the red and then drew the jack-o’-lantern face on the ring finger. It would of looked so bomb with the rest of the look. Or maybe that is an orange and my phone is making it look red 🤔, regardless the pumpkin face is a good idea 💡😬.

What glitter did you use on the pinky?

Once the nail is cured, any Mylar that is sticking out will file off, so just file as normal.
