It’s a small pond with NO fish! For a proper sized pond with koi and goldfish that one tank would struggle! A good concept but you would need 2-3 tanks linked together to be effective and achieve those results in a normal sized pond stocked with fish! A drain fitted at the bottom would also be advisable to regularly flush the accumulated muck to waste!
Mr. McCabe I used gray wood paint for outside, the best is prime with spraycan and then gray spraycan but became too expensive for me (in Europe/benelux there is a cheap french shop called “action” that sells cheap spraycans for plastic and other material)

4 if you have a lot of koi 1 is anough for goldfish

Wich filter media is the best for a low price?
You can literally just use gravel, doesnt have to be official filter media, anything porous that the bacteria can cling to works
Hi! is it important for the main pipe to be in the middle, or can it be just on the side like edge of the barrel?
You can put where you like it! but It need be a big pipe for the water flow

How often do you have to clean out the filter ?
2 times per week if you put a vortex filter before this its only 1 time a month to clean te filter
