NCC 1701 B and C are among the most beautiful design versions inside Star Trek universe. Paramount could easily develop new stories and crew with those two starships , instead of repeating same old stories
Glad to see you’re still putting up videos. This looks awesome. Personally I always imagined the Mirror Universe vessels to be different in appearance from the main. The Terran Empire are basically conquerers and the ships would reflect more of a warlike aggressive look. Of course I understand in TOS for budget and time constraints they had to reuse the Enterprise as it was. But, I like to think there was a lot of story possibilities from the episode two parter from ST:Enterprise where the Defiant turned up in the past and in the Mirror Universe and that it’s technological advancements would have horribly altered their future.
I have to agree: There are TOO many windows on what is supposed to be a warship. Is that version supposed to be what the Terrans would build as a Refit TMP style? I like it visually speaking. I would love to see what other vessels you could render (what comes to mind: the vessels of the 2202/2205 Cosmos Navy Wave Motion Fleet...)
I like the design, it looks like it’s almost designed for war. Only thing I’d do if this was a Terran empire ship is get rid of all the windows, way too many and a huge weak spot in battle.
Loved your terran intro. However i wish the shios had the gold leafs on the saucer and that looked like way too many wondows on the engineering section
Its five year mission: To colonize strange new works. To exploit new life and new civilizations. To conquer and subjugate where no one has gone before.
I don't know, It's *still* missing *something that makes this ship worthy* to be part of the Empire's fleet. Weapons! More weapons! Then more weapons after that! Then even more weapons! Someone use a portal and swipe that *Death Star* Glock from Vader and slap that on!
...I probably get a kick out this video because of how many times I know I've been stuck seeing how many Federation ships getting destroyed as opposed to the other way around. I try to get around to seeing the final two seasons of DS9 so I can actually see similar badassness that I crave, but I lack the time to.
Great models and light. But animation looks a bit non-smooth. Maybe it's matter of non-using motion blur. When using old Blender Internal, I've used vector blur compositing node. Now I use standard eevee m blur. I have never used cycles - I never had apropriate hardware.
I like the warp nacelles. They look like a "missing link" design between the TMP and TNG eras.
