I have always known God but i had to let go of myself, my pride, my ego and stop deceiving and lying to myself to find Him. We can't do it alone because we were never meant to. I feel like when I felt depressed "broken" I always tried to figure out how how I can fix it but nothing worked and so for years it was like a rollercoaster ride. slow ups, and quick downs. but each time over 25+years looking back i realize God wanted me to let go of "me" and give in to Him.
