I really like how this piece captured the sadness of realizing you are stuck in Hell and there's no escape, the only option left is to fight and take down as many of those bastards with you as you can.
Don't worry, if you find the secret exit you'll go through this again, equipped with more than a pistol, different music and some extras the level is gonna have since the first time
I like the new ones but guys... This will always be the ultimate Doom experience. Getting to e3m1 after Shores of Hell with this tune kicking in... OOH YEAH GOOSEBUMPS
actually, no, that's the name of the level. the actual name in the soundtrack is that, Untitled. Some people call it Hell Keep or E3M1 because of there being no title.
@@XCATX25 If you have a listen to tracks Moon 4 & 5 from the Putt Putt soundtrack, it's the piano sounding that sounds quite similar to the Doom track at 0:47. That's why I say it kind of sounds like the moon music from Putt Putt. Although the guitar is not involved. Just the piano.
perfect for running though you may start bouncing around to the rythm and look a little weird to the people pedestrianing about. It didn't happen to me at all but it very well could have (but it totally didn't haha)
Since I was a kid, this was my favorite one! Today I'm still bumping at this!
Do u listen to pantera? If not, you should really check out "mouth for war" sounds alot like this
When I first played Doom i would turn down the sfx volume to just listen to the music, epik.
Listening to this to write a paper. hell yeah
I see what you did there. Nice
me too
Hell yeah brother

The Doomguy aren't stuck in Hell with demons, the demons are stuck in Hell with the Doomguy.
MrDosonhai amen to that bro
I think he went to hell on his own mind, to stop invasion
Predictably, the marine himself agrees to disagree.
The soundtrack itself isnt really sad, I just think it means I need to escape from mars as fast as i can
The old doom Logo is really well made.
the artbox too, really well made.
Yet has been used for over 30 years already
Pistol vs some cacodemons. Duck me man.

Plot Twist: The song is titled “Untitled”
Plays in:
E2M9 - Fortress of Mystery (Ultimate Doom)
E3M1 - Hell Keep (Ultimate Doom)
MAP16 - The Omen (Plutonia)
I finished playing the "Shores of Hell" episode and when I entered the Third Episode at e3m1 its pumping my heart
I like the new ones but guys... This will always be the ultimate Doom experience.
Getting to e3m1 after Shores of Hell with this tune kicking in... OOH YEAH GOOSEBUMPS
Mouth for DooM
This one of my favorites.
I got born in 2004, and still i feel nostalgia for this for some reason.
go to your fkin room kid
Johnny Casey wow
An appreciation for 'old but still gold' games, perhaps?
Maybe
you ever played the games to be talking like that ?
This song kinda fits for some kind of a stealth mission Imo
Wait that's Pantera
I like the reference to this track in at the end of "Harbinger" from Doom 2016
this song was so good they couldn't give it a title
This defines rip and tear
I was 2020-10-01 years old when I realized that this is Pantera - Mouth for War.
Fortress of mystery is the best level to introduce the barons of hell with some kickass music
Barons get introduced in E1M8 as bosses, but they are introduced in E2M9 as enemies. So it’s technically the truth.
@@gamemaster11123four thank you
Forgot about UV. They actually are introduced in E2M3 as regular enemies
@@gamemaster11123four Actually Barons start appearing in E2M3 as enemies.
SO many sleepless nights, so many demons to kill.

Doom has a Mouth for War

I could easily play this

Yeah the name of the theme is hell keep
how or why is there no name?!
From what I heard, its actual title is "Hell Keep".

Oh
Thanks for filling me in.
It is on e2m9 for my port for some reason
Paul Thiele That's the secret level, of course UNTITLED will play on that level, it has nothing to do with your port.
This music sounds very similar to the music from Putt Putt Goes To The Moon.
Now I want to know which song. I just listened to the entire soundtrack and none of the songs sounded like this one

this is how it was intended to sound and actually it has reverb if you listen closely
