- Allies of Deputy President William Ruto have told off President Uhuru Keyatta for remarks against electing thieves to take over from him. The MPs who accompanied Ruto to Kajiado and Makueni counties, dared the president to name those he thinks are thieves and should not be on the ballot.

I am not sure what irritates Duane and Gachagua so much about what President Uhuru said regarding “not voting in thieves.” One can campaign and vote for a candidate and still be a thief, . Being a campaigner or a voter is not a test on one’s integrity. It is also conduct unbecoming for Duale to talk about President Uhuru the way he did in Kajiado. President Uhuru is not Duale’s equal. At best, Duale is no more than a political functionary for hire. Raila’s ODM hired him at one time, and so did President Uhuru’s Jubilee. Currently, he is on hire by Ruto’s UDA.
They are at liberty to response to the President!

If noise is allowed to crowd out understanding of the different policy positions that the various political are selling, the ordinary voter will not be enabled to make informed choices and vote accordingly.
