Funking in the 70z! Every 4 piece band in the neighborhood had to cover such ditties as Fire on the Bayou to be seen as fashionable. That was the Salisbury, Rhodesia of my pre-teen days!
Last time we went was on Halloween about 3 year ago and saw The Funky Meters (Leo and George from this band) at Tipitinas.We got of there at daylight.lol
Man! I'm down in RIchmond right now and all I hear is music that basically has no rhythm like dubstep. Also a lot of pop music sounds like one drum beat looped. When I hear this thought I'm seriously transported to like a different atmosphere. i want to be around this all the time. Is it mainly down in New Orleans?
@@brotherrabbit8539 New Orleans is the northern most Caribbean city my brother. Yes this all day in New Orleans cone around jazz fest and the french quarter fest. They're being held in the fall this year due to covid. But are usually in the spring time
