Correction: At 44.00 minutes, in Storey 3, for applying live loads on floor slab, I have mistakenly selected the Slab in between Shear Wall and Stair which is a part of Stair. Thank you for your support! ❤️
Great initiative! However, referring to Md Shohag Miah and Engr. Abul Kashem; I added some comments: 1. Actually, at partition walls, there will be no beam; thus, height taken 10' is correct. However, for other walls on the beam, the depth of the beam below slab is required to be deducted from 10'; 2. 44.7 psf for 5" brick wall must be multiplied with wall height and length to obtain the total load. The load needs to be divided by the slab area to obtain wall's average load on the slab.
Ekta jinish janar chilo janle please keu bolben (Hoyto ami jinishta kheal korini hote pare video teh) Ekhane shear wall er dead load ki hobe ar lift e toh live load ashbe.. Shei khetre shear wall e live load koto boshate hobe?

Dear sir, I have some queries... 1. The Live loads you applied in slabs are only for one or two family residential building (mentioned in the BNBC 2017). So for more than two families, shouldn't we put the different values for living rooms, bed rooms, toilets, kitchens, balcony etc. mentioned in BNBC 2017. 2. The partition walls in your drawing which are on the slabs (not on the beam), you assigned it in psf loadings... Is it mandatory to do it in this way cause In your way of assigning this wall loads, we are distributing the wall loads as an average value on the panel which may be correct if the wall is on the middle portion of the slab. But the wall location may vary in other plan and the load transfer will not be same of average value for the edge panel beams. So is it okay???? Rather i can assign every wall loads in plf by drawing some null beams on the required wall location according to plan. 3. Shouldn't we assign the elevator live loads also on the shear wall? Could you please discuss the elevator or lift loads according to BNBC 2017? and how we can assign it in shear wall in ETABS? Thank you for your videos sir ... It is very helpful.
Lift(shear wall) jodi stair ar modde dei tobe elevation plan ar modde shear wall ar portion visible hoi na. Se jnno shear wall jkn mash korte jai tkn spandrel & pier select kora possible hoi na. 3D view korle, select kora jai kintu ta onek difficult and kills a lot of time( 26 storied building). Can you suggest to me how I can get rid of this problem?
firstly thanks a lot for this good initiatives.....here i have a question that when you calculate the brick wall weight ,take the floor height 10 ft,is it not necessary to omit the floor beam depth??please give me the answer and clear my confusion.
Actually, at partition walls, there will be no beam; thus, height taken 10' is correct. However, for other walls on the beam, the depth of the beam below slab is required to be deducted from 10';
At right side 3d view window, doesn't show partition load on column (40.58 mintute) or any other applied load. Please give hints how to setup my display option to find this?
If you applied the partition wall loads on column mistakenly like me only then it will show. You can not apply the partition wall loads on column. It was a mistake. That's why again I deleted the loads from column. But again if you have done same mistake like me and if the load is not showing in the column like me in 3D view, then just select the 3D window and scroll the mouse cursor and it will be shown. Thank you for your support.
Assalamu Alaikum . What is the procedure to define 2500 psi Concrete materials in E tabs 2016. There is another problem , after floor auto mash of stair slab I have seen there sown Default in mesh. Please tell me, how can I solve it?
You can define 2500 psi Concrete when defining Material Properties like me. And if you have done the floor meshing correctly than it doesn't matter what it shows. Thank you for your support!
Table 6.2.2 does not mention the minimum load, it is for assuming the weight of construction material. No where in table 6.2.2 it has been mentioned that this amount of partition wall must have to be provided on a panel as you are telling.
Hello brother! many thanks for your nice explanation and tutorial. It will surely be a lot helpful for the newbies like me. DO YOU HAVE ANY FOUNDATION DESIGN TUTORIALS? If not, could you make a video on foundation? Your help would be much appreciated as always. THANKS anyway. 😊
16.47 minute Brick Partition wall: we are provide 5" brick wall so, 120 mm Thick, but BNBC calculate here per 100 mm thick = 1.910 KN/m2, why not include here extra 20 mm thick purpose 0.382 KN/m2? Plaster only each side include BNBC, but why not we are include both side? Please check this, Same problem load calculation Floor slab time Because How possible tiles fitting mortar Thick 10 mm? It’s minimum required 20 mm thick of tiles fitting mortar.
I am shaidul from KCRCP Project at ctg. Vaiya hope fine with the help of almighty allah I have a question to u i.e have any video regarding wind load analysis please be informed me
Dear sir, thank you so much for creating such an amazing playlist. ❤️ Respect you sir. But sir, during applying PW load on beam you selected B1, B2 & B3. You didn’t apply any PW load on SB. (34:00 min) Was that a mistake sir, or okay? I think the outer SB should carry PW load. Again, in Ground floor same question for C-56 & D-56 beam.(40:00 min)
