Thank you so much for including voices from southern Saepmie as well. There are 17 Reindeer herding Sijte/Sites in Norwegian occupied Southern Saepmie. Nearly all of them face threats from huge windmill projects and/or foreign mining companies. Several of the projects are so large and/or occupying such critical areas that reindeer herding will no longer be possible, thereby forcing the end of a tens of thousand years old cultural tradition and the only place South Saemien is the working language and majority language. Our ancient language is extremely threatened, and the reindeer herders are the key to language survival. This is a genocide.
