Jibijip the Budgie Chirping

- My pet budgie Jibijip chirping.
Sadly he died and was buried on Tuesday the 17th of June, 2008. He died of a problem in his digestive tract.
Rest in peace my dear sweet baby Jibijip.

Yes this little budgie you had gives my birdies such joy....they chirp like crazy when I play this video for them. RIP Jibijip.
Our 15 year old budgie, now the last one of a group, has been cheered up listening to Jibijip! What a great looking budgie he was!
I play this for my bird Sasha every day - it gives her some happiness to chirp along on these dreary winter days!

Thank you for sharing Jibijip's beautiful singing with us, Ione of my budgies died unexpectedly yesterday and my other little guy is so quiet and lonely. But he loves Jibijip's chirping, he's much happier when he hears it
God bless Jibijip - he flies and chitters in heaven forever now - although you will always miss your darling boy . Thank you for sharing him with us. My budgies are big fans. I play a lot of budgie sounds for my own budgies, but Jibijip is by far their favorite.

Our little Peewee bird just died recently too :( We just bought a new baby budgie who is petrified of us right now. I played her this video yesterday and she actually chirped!! So we're replaying it again and again :) Thank you Jibijip!

My precious Snowflake budgie died too today. He loved listening to him also.He had
a infection in his chest for several weeks now, and I failed to take him to vet earlier
and when I did it was too late. He love this video. I will play this video without Snowflake but will have a smile because they both were special to us!.
There is a tiny budgie in my office at our SPCA in Buffalo, NY recovering from a little respiratory infection. He's been so quiet until I started playing this video, and now he's been animated, vocal, having the best morning ever. So sorry about your little budgie being gone -- I hope it helps to know that he is still able to help another little one feel a whole lot better.

we just bought our little blue parakeet from a petsmart and she was a little talker! we got her home and she's so quiet now :-(
We found this and she's bouncing around and now she's eating consistently!!! We were getting worried about her, and we played this. She's bouncing around and eating and playing and drinking her water, playing with her bells.
Don't feel bad for the bird, it's stimulating and healthy for them.

Sorry for your loss of sweet Jibijip. My parakeet Lucy died on Aug 20th. I had her over 5-years and she was so sweet. I miss her terribly. I was at a loss of what to do for my remaining parakeet, Bobby. Not ready to get another bird so soon. Lucy died so suddenly. Decided to google parakeet sounds and long story short, Bobby has been listening to Jibijip for a week now and is singing right along with him. I am sure she is even staring at Jibijip's video! THANK YOU!
I just got a female albino Budgie yesterday and hoping to get her a friend this evening I played this and she was chirping back I thank you for this video

Mine loves this video too.
It takes time to train them and patience but they'r'e so sweet and personable. The very young babies bond so much easier with their humans. Some older ones can't be tamed. Males are my preference since they talk. When their young you can't tell if they'll be male or female.
I've played a few vids for my new budgies, they seem to be calmer listening to this. The others made them excited and psycho

my 8 month old green budgie "pippin" is having a field day. its so cute! im sorry about your budgie, but now he keeps other budgies entertained and lives on!
he looks exactly like mine did. mine already died in 2005. watching this made me kinda sad, as this budgie reminds me so much of my own. he passed away at the age of 11.
Just came across your video. Jibijip looks very sweet and contented talking to himself. I'm sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of all the parakeets and canaries I've had. They really have different personalities.

I cried when I read description.
i got 2 budgies and the baby one omg, as soon as i come home from school he goes phycho, dinging the bell teasing the female dancing singing and everything. he's lovely. we called him bb after bb king d he loves the song voodoo child. but whenever i try to record them they stop lol. we havent had them long though(couple of weeks) so theyre not tame enough. when they are, ill record them and show you how phycho he is!
I also used this video to cheer up our budgie. he used to live in an avairy with my brothers othr birds. But my brother sold them but kept 2 budgie's one of them died so now it's just him and he's really lonely

It should be a budgie if you're getting it as a companion for the one you have now. They're very social birds, so they can be lonely if they're let alone (when people are out of the house) without a bud of their own kind!

@asvestomixZ The mineral block and cuttlebone attach to the cage and can stay there all of the time. The vitamin drops or powder gets mixed into the water (use filtered or distilled water) and change the water every 72 hours. Fill the seed cup with about 1/2 if the seed the budgie is used to and add pellets to make up the other half. If your budgie eats 1 tablespoon of food a day, just use half seed and half pellets. Every week use more pellets and less seed until he is eating all pellets.

My budgies flip out they start chirping like crazy.
@asvestomixZ The pet store will have several colors of mineral blocks - Hungry Hubby gets the blue one for our budgies. I believe it has dolomite and calcium in it. Hubby also says get a cuttle bone for your budgie to chew - also available in the pet store. Finally, you can put bottle feeders in the cage rather than water cups. Give them some budgie vitamins in the water and change it every 72 hours. We used to be hobby breeders of budgies and cockatiels. Hope this helps.
