Great ride to the museum.
That has to be the most incredible
Museum that there is for such a
variety of all makes and types of MOTORCYCLES , could spend a couple of days there. Would also like to visit Wheels Through Time
Wheels Through Time is a good motorcycle museum. There are bikes there that I have never seen anywhere else. The best part about going to Wheels Through Time is The little town itself in the beautiful scenery in that area. My wife and I ate at a little diner there that had some of the best food we've had in ages.
Thanks for watching! We plan on doing Wheels through time one day as well. I love these types of places. Part II is quite a ride as well. We had a blast. Glad you enjoyed it!!!!
Hey Bob. Thanks for sharing your ' kid in a motorcycle shop' enthusiasm with all of us. Seems like it doesn't matter what kind of motorsport we are into, there is always a fraternity of like minded folks. That museum needs to be the bucket list for sure.
It was like stepping into a time machine.. We had so much fun. I agree ... motoring of any kind is cool!!! I'm glad you enjoyed the tour!!! 👍 👍 👍
Great video Coach B & V! That museum, absolutely unbelievable!! I had no idea there were that many motorcycles! Bianchi motorcycle? I didn’t know they made one either. Anxiously awaiting part 2.
Glad you enjoyed it brother!!! 👍 👍 👍
I know a Bianchi...that's just crazy!!!
Coach Bob, I understand that modular helmets (no matter the brand) are more noisy than full face. I am sure, certain brands may have better wind control then others however I'm curious your thoughts. Is this one reason why you have ear plugs under the helmet? Doesn't the ear plugs impact the communication between you and coach vic?
My modular is very quiet. that said, even with my non-modular helmets, I wear ear plugs on any trip over a couple of hours. The studies about low level wind noise... even in the quietest of helmets is very troubling. I have "tinnitus".. a very mild case... so I am just protecting my ears from any further damage that may pop up in my later years.
It does impact our communication somewhat... We simply turn our comm units up and can communicate fine though. I may have to get her to repeat something every now and then. But, nothing that's to problematic.
Thanks for the questions. we are glad you're here. 👍👍👍
Coach Bob I love your attitude. I wish you were my life coach. I’m trying to use your take on life to my everyday living. You rock.
Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate it!!! 👍 👍 👍
Amazing museum. Don't like saying it but it puts Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley to shame. But the area around Maggie Valley is some of the best we've ever seen.
I was breathtaking for sure.
My first bike was a Honda SL70. I saw one in a small personal museum inside a local Honda dealer and I could not believe how small it was. Of course, I am a lot bigger now than I was at the age of 8, when My Dad got it for me. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Those were awesome little bikes... I felt like a kid looking at them!!
Greetings from South Australia, really enjoyed this. I agree Mate it doesn't matter what you ride as long as you are riding. Thank you for the ride. Take care and stay safe. Love your attitude and what a great couple.
Mr TPR Thank you for the kind words. I want to visit and ride in Australia so badly. I’d love to do a big tour.. a month or so. Now to convince Coach Vic. 😎😎 We really appreciate you watching!!!
See ya on the road!!! 😎👍 🇦🇺
This is an amazing place!!! I will definitely have to put it on my must see places as I am next door in Georgia. Coach Bob this is the closest I ever seen you to being speechless!! Obviously its a lot to take in but normally its Coach Vic that zones out this time its both of you. I think that is cool, obviously you enjoyed it and so did I. Looking forward to the other episodes!!
Hey there neighbor!!! It was absolutely mind-blowing ....around every corner was not only a piece of history, but a memory. In the next episode we see a motorcycle that my brother used to ride... I felt like I was 8 years old again. What a wonderful place!!!
Always carry hot sauce for your eggs and remember the line from Encino Man the cheese is old and moldy. That's what made me think about.
I remember that!!!! 👍 👍 👍
Wife and I were surprised the last 2 times we were in Florida, in September, and how few motorcycle we saw. It's riding season up here in New York and there's bikes on the road everywhere. I think we appreciate good weather more because we get less of it.
In October when things really start to cool off is when things pick up a tad. In my opinion... Floridians need to ride all year round!!!
Amazing!!! Looking forward to Part 2:)
Thanks brother...Part II...Coming soon! 👍 👍 👍
A solid 10 on the Wow-O-Meter! Thanks!
You are right...10!!!! Glad you liked it! Don't miss part II
Love that place! I drove my wife nuts talking about every machine in the place. To me, each one is a masterpiece sculpture of steel and plastic and rubber. So many memories of the bikes I've had, my Dad had, and ones that we dreamed about owning one day. Had a red Honda Trail 70 way back when we I was in junior high. Rode that thing everywhere. Thanks for taking me back to Barber.
New sub here enjoyed the video look forward to more. I've been trying to do some motovlogs myself. Maybe you would check them out?
Coach Bob that museum is incredible! Thanks for the ryde. 😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it brother. It is a wonderful museum.
Hope to see y’all in the road. 👍👍👍
@@CoachBob3 Indeed it is. 😁
Another good one. Response to my comment on your last Vlog, the Forgotten Coast, maybe ya missed it. Give me your rain gear specs when ya get home and have the time an how easy is it to get on and off. Thanks.
I must’ve missed it brother. Sorry.
I am wearing a frog tog jacket I picked up years ago while hiking. On our trip back from Barber...it finally came apart. It really was not designed for what I’ve been using it for. But it did a good job.
Coach Vic has a new Columbia Rain jacket that we picked up at a sporting goods store in California while out there. It works exceptionally well. It seems to be very solid. She says it hasn’t ever let water “soak” through. It was only 25-30 bucks.
Both fit over our touring jackets with ease.
I’m probably going to buy me the Rev It Cyclone. Here’s a link to it.

Hope you’re doing well my friend.
Thank you my friend, thanks for taking the time during your Barber Museum visit, what a place, thanks for sharing, looking fwd to part 2.
Thanks for Sharing!!
You bet... It was a great trip!!!
Tell Coach Vic your coming to Indiana before we leave lol. She would love it up here.
Will do!! I would love to make that trip.
Bucket list!
Edd Curry it is well worth the trip. I’d like to go back and spend a couple of days.
It’s about 800 miles from my house, so it definitely would make it worth my time to spend two days there.
My jaw just dropped as you went in. I have GOT to go here!
Brian R. Mine did too!!! It is an unbelievable place. Every bolt on every bike is painstakingly cleaned and maintained. It is an great place to go to..
Thanks for the comment. 👍👍🍻👍👍
Never knew of this place. I saw it had cars also. Awesome. Definitely have to add this place to my things to do. Thanks for taking us with you there. Can't wait to see part two.
It has quite a few cars. Barber was a car guy. They do race Indy style cars on the Barber track. We walked outside and saw the track.. It'll be in part II. Thanks for watching!!! 👍 👍 👍
