Diced Pineapple that's kinda the point in them to make you scared so you won't do it, if they made them all happy and nice kids wouldn't get the same effect and probably wouldn't think it was dangerous because it was happy and kind
They showed think adverts like this in the morning Cautionary ones in the afternoon Terrifying ones in the evening. But they all serve the message straight. I think that's a good thing
spider5600 wait, kids getting crushed by a car? It's way worse in the u.s! Like a cop telling the mother and kid that her father ad died from a drunk driver.
can I be emo and part of the ARMY? The kids also turned into jackets the moment where the car crush them, only to reappear as corpses like one second after that
Takes me back to primary school days. Can anyone confirm... Was there a night time version? Seem to remember the line "When you're out at night make sure you're bright and we're staying alive"
I met the girl who sang this. we did a local radio interview on the same day. she's an amazing musician now, plays guitar writes her own stuff! just wish i remember her name. x
Back where road safety adverts were actually informative and didn't use use the manipulative topics of lifetime injuries, emotional trauma and death to get people to listen
I remember the Think! Road Safety Hedgehog adverts especially the ‘Stayin’ Alive’ ones, so much better, innocent, lighthearted and informative than all the dark and depressing ones or any of the adverts on Telly nowadays. Think now is the time they brought the Road Safety Hedgehogs were back to the spotlight.
Yep. There are two types of people. Those who watch this for their childhood, and those who watch this for Scott's Toy Review. I'm personally the latter.
Also, I have a parody version. You can tell by the way I cross the road I've followed the Green Cross Code Waiting for the toybox to come in So I can finally get in It's alright, it's OK, The toys will come anyday And if you try to understand The Barbie doll's effect on man Taking all of my time, taking all of your time Stayin alive Stayin alive It is all the right time, Scott's giving you good price Stayin alive Stayin alive
does anyone remember the one where one doesn't follow instructions and gets hit, what was the name of it. They try to cross between two parked cars but couldn't look left-right and got WHAMed
Apparently it's safe to jaywalk - great message. How about you teach your kids to look both ways at the lights so drivers don't have to panic because kids are crossing in the middle of the road? kthxbai.
Aeriata actually it is safe. in england where this is from and australia where i am from what you call jaywalking is perfectly normal. basicly we can cross where ever we want, you just gotta remember that cars have right of way unless at marked crossings. kids are taught to look for cars and make sure there is enough time to cross without being hit and if a car does see that you are crossing and don't quite have time then they will slow down a little.

Oh, why did my school not do that?
My family went on vacation to London in the early 00's and we still laugh about this commercial.

Diced Pineapple that's kinda the point in them to make you scared so you won't do it, if they made them all happy and nice kids wouldn't get the same effect and probably wouldn't think it was dangerous because it was happy and kind
Yeah, now whenever I see a potential Think advert, I switch channels asap. It's scary stuff
You must be kidding diced pineapple
They showed think adverts like this in the morning
Cautionary ones in the afternoon
Terrifying ones in the evening.
But they all serve the message straight. I think that's a good thing
I miss the days when road safety adverts were family friendly like this one
Road safety adverts are now dark and terrifying D:
@Archie SHEPHERD you just copied his comment
@Archie SHEPHERD you know you messed up trying to copy my comment right? Theres not two spaces between copied and his
@Archie SHEPHERD you also deleted your comment
@Archie SHEPHERD also の
Now Ireland this is how you do road a road safety video. No kids are being crushed by a blue Volvo barrel rolling towards them.
Us Irish most our adverts are British it's very rare to find Irish adverts. Besides our safety road adverts always have an English accent
spider5600 wait, kids getting crushed by a car? It's way worse in the u.s! Like a cop telling the mother and kid that her father ad died from a drunk driver.
That advert was hilarious. It had a squash sound and everything 😂

I'm happy no children were crushed this time. Thanks, DOE!
This is so much better than that coraline nightmare shit
I got to watch this once and then they moved on to 'Think!'
Holy shit im old now, I remember when these guys used to be tarmaced to the roads near schools
I remember the Think! Road Safety Hedgehog adverts especially the ‘Stayin’ Alive’ ones, so much better, innocent, lighthearted and informative than all the dark and depressing ones or any of the adverts on Telly nowadays.

My god. these are MUCH nicer than those ones they have now! Like, "the boy who did this" and "the girl who didn't" OHHH those were scary!
There are still so many idiots that run in the road, I wish this ad would be aired again!
@vulpix2007 haha yeh somewhere is the question i think mine got chucked in the bin along time ago lol xx
Groovy 👩🎤👩🎤💃💃
KIWO
Is it sad that whenever I hear Stayin alive by the Beegees I immediately remember this advert.
Obviously worked...... rarely see a squashed hedgehog these days.....
yo this is better than the one that I saw
THINK! Ignorance kills! ⚠️
Everyone else: "I remember this!"
Me: "Scott's Toy Review theme song"

They took sonic sez to a whole nother level.

Were those the think! ones? Those ones traumatised me as a child :(
Who is watching this bc if class
My first THINK! PIF. A better introduction for families than the more disturbing, gruesome ads like the dead boy and girl's corpse being reanimated.
lol i think those hedgehogs are on something
I remember watching this
December 2020 anyone?
I liked the hedgehog advert more than the THINK ones. I used to have fucking nightmares watching the other ones
