When you observe without the interference of thought, without being in the state of acceptance and denial, with complete attention, it really happens, no further thought arises, you don't cling to the thought. The thought becomes quiet , the mind is free from chattering. It's a wonderful feeling. Look at the beauty that even in the absence of Krishna ji, people are learning directly from him through the ways he liked to convey his teachings. Many thanks to Krishnamurti foundation center which makes it possible to happen

    The art of observation:
    1. Observe without movement of thought.
    2. Observe with eye balls still.
    3. No division between me and anger....no point analysing
    4. Observe without observer/past
    5. This is how consciousness reveals its content.

When you observe there is no distant between the observer and the observed. Thought which is time (past and future) and thereby creates distance (resulting in emotion such as despair, fear, anger, worry etc) has no place during the observation. Observation is always at the present which is no time, no distance, as is, the fact and no judgement. This is the essence of mindfullness, being the present without interference from the judge (thought).

True, no need of concentration, movement, just be quiet and observe the mind, bring back if goes away, bring it back to the observation. Maybe start observing sensations like tickle, body sensation, heart etc. This is observation, slowly thoughts fade away and you will observe sensations, then you start observing yourself, which happens when you are empty, then the body feels lite, relaxes, that will be like you are connected to some floating thing, which makes you joyful...this is meditation, if we practice this, then automatically it will enter into daily life....you observe things as they are in the right place, not much thoughts...

Art of observation; It took almost more than 6 months or maybe more to observe and select someone and still got failed misarabully even after seeding minds before others asking. and that's how they got unlimited freedom. All right then let's mess up things which take our freedom away.

Just watching means giving attention. In this case, there is no thought generation. In pure awareness, thoughts are not generated. When you allow consciousness and memories to interact, thoughts will be generated (like envy or hatred). To say something is bad or to inhibit something, it requires effort and that means generation of thoughts. JK is saying don't generate thoughts from all those memories that will give you the same result as in the past. When you watch envy or hatred without generation of thoughts, you just CANNOT feel envy or hate because you did not allow generation of thoughts that would make you feel envy or hatred.

When you generate thoughts, then it is you (conscience) and the thought; that is duality. It creates some kind of conflict. No thoughts lead to a calmer mind because only awareness prevails.
Thank you, JK! Rest in peace!

It's very simple - there is no space/separation/ division between the observer from what he is observing but we creat a self ( observer) which is built up from all the images one holds and through those images we observe the things which creates division between observer and observed which further leads to conflicts according to observer likes/dislikes..u will get freedom when you realise this fact not just theory

Agreed 🙏 with Mr. J. Krisnamurti's 🌹 talks about relationships between eye's movements and the brains..It reminded me of Buddha teaching's..There was a disciple once asked how could one able to tell the differences between the devils and angels if both appearances are identical..Buddha's answers was that the 👁👁 that would differentiate between the 2..In similar manners as people often said..." The 👁 is the window of one's soul.."..However, if one is born blind at birth, then how can the 👁 be applicable?🤔?..Don't we all have other's remaining senses as same as if the door closes, break the "window"..😂😆..Might need to verify with 🔥 fighters for facts..😁😉..

i was wondering once - after listening to J. about observing something without all the knowledge of what the thing is, or rather without the preconditions around it or you - what a song in my mother tongue would sound like to foreigners (with this particular song representing "us" in eurovision).
i cannot tell you how i did it or how it happened, but, whilst trying to "observe" it for what it was in its most basic form, the song gradually became sound, and the sound gradually became noise, and the noise gradually became just a "thing" that was happening at that particular moment in "reality" and then it sort of was no boundary between things. what i mean with this last part is this: imagine you have headphones on and listening to music. you can separate between the song you are listening to and the tree you're looking at from your window. i could separate the tree from the song, and then from the sound, and then from the noise and also from the "thing" the once song had now become. but at the last step, the tree and the thing, and everything i could hear or see or smell and feel and so on, became one. there was no boundary between anything. and i am telling you it was, "peaceful" is the word i am going to use.
i have tried to replicate it but no luck thus far.

My understanding is that the person is the observer and they start to observe their mind . And the mind is busy or may be quiet - but it is observed . And at some point there's a jump to a level of awarenss which supercedes thought or is more fundamental than the thought process and the awareness is apparently selfless , has no motive etc . That awareness is aware of the mind and everything that's happening is fact or factually true and there's no resistance to that factual, actual thing which is happening. Like a pure-awareness entity with no will to change stuff , watching a human from the inside and (kind of) learning and stuff 🤣🤣
