the m416 is actyally more accurate after u put all the avaible attachments on it i would say that akm without attachments is better but after u find all the attachments for m4 it becomes better

uh if you've seen a silencer for a M4/16 then you've seen one for the AKM. Barrel, magazine, and optics mods fit all the ARs. The only deviation is the fore and butt stock mods.
I think The biggest factor is that the m4 allows 5 attachments and the akm only 3. this means fully kitted out the m4 would start to win other categories aswell.

The thing that gets me the most is how inaccurate the assault rifles can be at a distance(in fps). Several times I have attached a 4x sight on my rifle and have been shooting at people at a distance to see the shot land 5 feet of to the left/right of the person. I thought it was just the ak but m16a4 is similar....yet I seem to get instantly killed or headshot from across the map by people with m416s. Nothing like trying to figure out were to lead a person when the bullets aren't even hitting where you aim. I played enough battlefield and games that required leading shots to have a decent understanding of where to aim it would have been nice to have a practice server that you could figure these things out with.
The way you tested bullet patterns is inaccurate. If you use the 3rd person view to test it you'll get a very different pattern every time because the longer you shoot the less accurate you'll be. Adds a lot of variation to each test. In addition to that, even if you were to use the 1st person camera to test patterns, in this game they are more or less random. Basically the same vertical recoil depending on attachments with added horizontal recoil, also depending on attachments.
Yeah the ranging doesn't work in the game yet you have to actually raise your sights abit higher depending on how far the person is. It will show on screen that you're changing distance with page up page down but it doesn't do anything yet.
If the game emulates life: 5.56 for longer range and 7.62 for closer engagements (400 meters). 5.56 is a more accurate round, being lighter means it can travel pretty far however after 500 meters you start losing effectivity. You hit but you might not instant kill. 7.62 does massive damage, huge exit wound but it's hard to hit with at more than 400. That said the weight of the bullet grants it killing capabilities at long range if you can hit. 5.56 like 9mm = velocity. Some people argue they are good for going thru objects.
Why does it take 5 body shots to kill the guy at 1:47 if the AKM is a 4 shot kill? Is there a discrepancy with the blood and actual hits? I would think bullet dmg drop off but that range is pretty close. I'm assuming the guy is using lvl 3 armour but I cant tell for sure.
It should also be mentioned that at long rnage, like 200m, the AKM has signifcantly higher damage. While the shots to kill on the m416 will increase by 1, the AKM keeps its damage at a distance.

Not really, all the kills he posted are him camping then popping out of a corner or shooting at people in vehicles. I'm sure he has a lot of video of him trying to shoot someone that 180 one tapped him or battles where the other person actually shot back at him and he lost but for the video he just wanted to show kill shots with those specific rifles. For me I always get that death where I shoot someone twice with a shotgun that don't die then they two tap me with a 9mm BS but I think for me its a computer/monitor issue going so much slower than the other person. Building a nice set up now piece by piece 6700K with a 1080 and 144hz monitor, like 10 times better than this antique computer I have now. lol
I used to prefer the M16 because with a compensator you can really single fire spam fire, but then I discovered the scar, oh baby its like a laser gun.

One big advantage the 416 has is availability of ammo. I tend to find much more NATO rounds. I guess I would say in squad, go with the 416 so your teammates can help you get all 5 attachments. In any other mode, go AKM.
Could you make one video with micro uzi vs saiga (s12k) to see what's better on cqc? Both full attachments. There is one mistake on the video, you put cheek pads icon instead of tactical stock on M416
Its not about which gun is better. Its about what gun feels more comfortable in your hands, im AKM guy. It is precise too, its not hard to move your mouse down the mouse pad since it is just vertical recoul pretty much
AK for close quarters, m4 for distance though it's better to have an m4 or ak for close quarters with an m16 for distance. Personally, I like to run a SCAR with a S12K if I can find one.
I prefer the akm just for its shear endgame ability I mean range is what the akm has over m416 ive counter sniped a lot of people with the akm its valid with the 8x scope in single shot I use it over the sks for long range too
Decent vid but shouldn't you also compare the time to kill/shots to kill on players that are not completely boosted to full hp? Does it make a difference in amount of shots needed?
Akm is love... I only play with akm as a primary weapon and now I know by how many bullets a guy will die.. So in a clutch situation it helps.. When I play with m4 or scar... I am not confident with that at all... In a clutch situation... If you can control recoil... Akm is beast
You forgot one super important thing about the difference between them. The AKM has a much slower bullet velocity which makes a difference when firing at long ranges despite the AKM having a higher range stat.

The app "Reshade" with Adaptive sharpen, Clarity, HDR and Technicolor2 will work wonders guys. My game is nicely bright and vibrant now

Be aware the firing rate is not the same as interval between shots, firing rate is calculated by bullets fired per minute, including reloading time.
