Man, fantastic videos! I think you've found a great niche. I think you should stick to it and pump these out for all characters before moving on to other types of videos.
Fujin Victor here, correcting some stuff about the IAI as well as other important info. IAI: Sidewalking is good vs IAI, but not against Victor's best way into IAI, which is Monsieur Samurai (this, or during a knockdown is the only time a good Victor will enter IAI once you can duck gunshot). Victor's 1, 2, 4, and d1+2, will all beat sidewalking and sidestepping, although it does beat d2, 1+2, and 3, so understand in this situation sidestepping isn't a cheat code. Fun fact about Perfumer. Steve's df2 beats every option Victor has out of that stance if he transitions into it on block. Let it fly, Steve mains. Lastly, Victors (myself included) really like to go into Monsieur Samurai (db 1+2) but it can be hard punished with sidestep left. We can read this and do wr2 instead, but don't let us get away with it for free. Monsieur Samurai into IAI is much deadlier than WR2.
Thats why i get caught by the steve i fought, i recently pick up victor to understand him more, can you give me some very good flow chart or strings of victor? i usually just do wr+2 as frame traps.
@@shinrah7636flow charts and strings get drastically worse as you fight higher level opponents learn his fundamental tools first before you go into flow charting lmao
Won't a good Victor main mostly transfer into Perfumer off a hit confirm? I was watching this just to make sure my victor is airtight, I don't spam the dumb moves this dude is showing (I even bait people into thinking I'm doing these generic strings cause everybody and their moms studied how to counter Victor lol). Also 2,1, perfumer has more plus frames than any other way to transition. People sleep on cancelling up 2 + 2 into Iai for occasional mixups. You just just duck their jab if they try to punish.
@@Methos_ B1 into perfumer on block happens really quickly so it gives mental frames, especially with b1, 2 discouraging buttons. But if they do have the reactions, then its unsafe. I get away with b1 into perfumer in Fujin so it'll def work on most players. But yes, overall, Perfumer is best to do on hit rather than on block.

Really useful video. I like how concise it is, no talking about off topic stuff, just the information. I'd really like to see more anti character guides. Raven for example gives me a lot of trouble.
Bro your videos are amazing. The best part is how they get straight to the point. And really easy to digest! Please make one of these over all the characters. Just subbed🎉
loving the series hoping to see more characters, glad you made the most annoying characters first, also hands down greatest anti character guides I have ever seen
My school will be holding an exclusive tekken 8 tournament, i only play tekken 6 and I only get to play tekken 8 when I am at my friend's house, this is incredibly helpful.
It's so interesting how he has clear weaknesses, but the devs also gave him just a few options he can throw in to cover them if the player is smart enough to mix them up. Love that design philosophy
Thanks for the compact and informative video! I just want to add that there are some character specific long range punishes for FF2 like Alisa's B4,4 combo that is 15 frames and does 59 damage. It doesn't work at tip range, but it is possible for some characters like Alisa to punish it.
thank you for acknowledging how broken victors teleport is with heat. it does wayyy too much damage for a single hit. it should be death on block always
Bro im a looongtime player. You make the best guides ever. Only important shit and getting right into the best stuff. Please keep on doing it! im subbed and belled up
this is an excellent tutorial. love that you go into visual cues and the notes on the screen. very easy to take in. are you doing a series? if yes i will subscribe.
Hey, this is genius, I appreciate your style and how you keep things succinct. I'd suggest a king guide, even though there are plenty of vids on him now, I think it may go over well. I would also suggest reina. Or possibly your method for kbd?
Reina is by far the worst character in terms of win rate in the game so I don’t think people have trouble against her, but king is certainly broken in risk and reward so a counter play guild on him would be nice
@@RayZL90Thats a good point, Id say king or a kbd guide in the style of his wavedash vid, then. Though that could change as people get more familiar with the game
I just matched the most annoying Victor of all time dude, can you tell me if you have any advice on what to do if the Victor immediately activates heat at round start, spams U1+2 to get a ton of chip and then distance me with his pistol? It annoyed me so much and I have no counter play in my mind.
Liked and Subbed. Watched your Hwoarang one and the amount of information packed into 5 minute videos is insane. Continue making these PLEASE Reina Video would be appreciated. Struggle against her strings and when to punish.
A bit of a niche but without heat and due to the fact that u1+2 -20 on heat, if you have FC/and maybe some WS conversions you can actually just take it and kill him for it. I am pretty sure WS2 from kazuya and FC d3 and 4 from reina lead to full combo on expulsion blocked. But it works only outside of heat. I think its slightly easier than doing hopkick/cancan
I would love an Anti Nina Strats guide, since her spamming with df1 cancels into SS are so ducking WEIRD to deal with, like she is always having a seizure lol, gets me every time
Very helpful video😊. Thank you so much. But how about Victor's running 2? It's plus on block, and also has good trace I think? I can side walk this move only if I stand very close to Victor. Don't know if there's any tips about this move. I feel so hopeless if my Victor opponent just spamming this.😂
Plz do one for lars and reina. Its these chars with spammy long strings that make it feel like u cant play the game. Ofc they have down sides n the way u break em down is great!
This helps but I'm not fighting these types of victor players. I already crushed them. I'm fighting victor players who are constantly moving and using their mid move to lock you down and their powercrush to activate heat.
FF2 is easily launchpunishable by some chars like reina who have a good 16 frame or faster launchpunisher. Look if your char has a good range launcher first before listening to that
Dont let Viktot get away with ff2 lmao. Yur basically giving him a completely safe mid launcher. People might try to compare it with Heiachis own ff2 but NO. Victor's has less pushback. Check your own movelist if you have anything that's good in range. Feng can shoulder, Jin himself can f+4 punish that into Zen mixup, Dragunov can b+3, Reina can super fast/frame perfect ff2, Devil Jin can uf+3+4. Anyway, you get what I mean. Its -16, but with pushback. Only a handful of characters will be able to launch, but a big portion of the cast should at least try a meaty punish
Just to add to this, you dont sideste Viktor to the left everytime. You sidestep him more to the right. His launchers, including the infamous ff2, all dont track to the right. You allso forgot about Viktor's WR2. This thing, is pure chaos and rushdown. Its PLUS 6 on block, tracks fairly well to the right, a little less on the left. And it does a chip damage total of 12. You basically ate a low but you blocked. Dont sidestep to the left so often because he has moves that track well to that side more than SSR. You sidestep Viktor to the right. You risk eating the low, but the low itself is launch punishable on block, and doesn't really hurt even if it connects. Basically, if hes spamming lows and the if ou see him dashup for the Whilerunning, SSL. If hes spamming mids, SSR. You can even completely evade his follow up mix after the low by sidestepping right
The gun rule alone will save me so much, you absolute legend
