Neovvl@ the hell if people hate.. that's an amazing swap.. what people seem to forget its all motor , which make it reliable. With bolt ons you could easily be at 280whp. And the extra weight in front is good for traction.. haters gonna hate.. so just enjoy your ride..
@TheMostMan - VQ35DE come RWD and FWD (350z and G35 RWD) among others and Maxima / Altima FWD which this B13 has one of those. Check Google and Wikipedia so you can learn about the VQ a bit more.
So much want for this car lol. I have a B15 (02 Spec V) with a built VQ swap and it’s fun at 2533lb race weight, but I bet I could get one of these to around 2000lbs race weight which would be AWESOME!!! My race motor makes 348whp NA and over 470whp on spray so it would love a B13 chassis lol.
Your right, I was thinking of the wrong engine. Still heavy because of the sand casting method used to produce the engine, but I guess that kept cost down etc. which is why their are so many SR20's.
Would the transmission even be able to hold this power? Overtime? I mean it’s a near 200 hp difference and I’m sure the original trans of these cars are not that strong.
I love Sentra's. My buddy has an awesome 1991 Sentra B13 with a GTi-R SR20DET. He just got it dyno tuned last weekend. Here's the video of the car getting tuned - /watch?v=qmmI1gVlW5I
( engine is from an Altima / Maxima FWD it brings a bit less who than the Rwd 350z engine do to the intake and tune. And about the weight the SR is Aluminum as is the VQ the only cast Iron is the KA engine. And weight wise the VQ weights 25-30 pounds more than the SR20. And it sits well no suspension issues. Plus a mid tune t-25 in NO way will beat this all motor setup
The VQ has way more torque. This one runes low 12s and the 200sx VQ ran a best of 11.0 @ 125 mph. I highly doubt you will see an SR20DET with a t25 run that. Not even a mid to well modified fwd DET. We have them here in the island from all colors and flavors you want ;) been there done that :p non the less any Nissan SR or VQ rocks.
Your saying the VQ35 n/a produces more power than the SR20det? I love Vq's I believe they are one of the best v6 engines out there. Very reliable and powerful. I have a maxima 96 with a 3.0 stock
I have Nissan cefiro the engine is V634V. Why that Sentra is V6 that's modified or custom? Because my grandpa had an Nissan Sentra the engine of that is 1.5. what's that manual transmission or automatic transmission?
hello people, i have a doubt with the VQ35 engine, maybe someone can give some feedback,, does someone know if its feasible to swap it into a b12 body? I heard that it cannot due engine bay size,, Yes or no, why?
There's a dude in Mexico that managed to put a VR6 engine in a VW Golf MK I. With money you can make anything happen. But why stop there? If you want the most nonsensical bullshit on wheels don't stop on the VQ but go with the VK56DE V8 Nissan engine! I'm pretty sure you could gap anything you want.
the b13 is already stupid light in the rear end on the track with an sr20. this thing is useless except for on a drag strip. if that was the intention for the build, then cool. awesome they stuffed a v6 into it. but that is all it is good for.
vq's are reliable engines. It doesn't need much tune to be fast. They are usually on heavy cars and they pull well. They are good for towing also. One of nissans most reliable and strongest engine.

KA24DE -- 368 lbs SR20DE -- 306 lbs VQ35DE -- 315 lbs
That exhaust sound is freaken amazing!
Nice! i have a soft spot for Nissans, I prefer them far over hondas. these great power much like the s50/52 in the euro world.
Mi psicólogo: "El Nissan® Tsuru® V6 no existe, no te puede hacer nada"
El Nissan® Tsuru® V6:
Ok

❤ suena lindo
@luis pena The VQ weighs less because its all aluminum, SR's are cast iron making it heavy as fuck.
the KA24DET KA24ET are cast iron the SR is aluminum
I have a question witch type of gearbox u use on the vq35
Honda, Audi...shieeettt CORVETTE KILLAHHH!!!
Would the transmission even be able to hold this power? Overtime? I mean it’s a near 200 hp difference and I’m sure the original trans of these cars are not that strong.
maddddddddddd but i wonder did u had to do any modification to the car in anyway cause i have a nissan b13 gts 4 wheel drive from factory.

vq35 on a b15 ss sick but now on a b13 wowzers!...dam this car must move. lets see some vs runs.
Amazing growl! Hope ny b13 has the same engine!
freaking awesome, what does it needs to fit?
Are you really in Japan? How strict is Japan about engine swaps?
yeah the sr20's are really good for their price, the aluminum and steel make it a cheap power house.
I would love to find a 94 SER.

awesome
ok i have a 2012 nissan sentra if i put a engine like this will i still be able to put a turbo
what rear axles?
What is the price for your car
uaaao

+ei io I'm thinking the same thing

Make sense
What do I need to do this
The same reason that if I could I'd make a 2005 AWD Nissan Almera V8 with rally specs. It'd be awesome!
the b13 is already stupid light in the rear end on the track with an sr20. this thing is useless except for on a drag strip. if that was the intention for the build, then cool. awesome they stuffed a v6 into it. but that is all it is good for.

That Sentra V6 is sickeningly WICKED.
uh no? its in altima 3.5 and in few gens of maximas
doesnt seem like a very smart swap, that's lower than a mild tune de-t t25.. plus its going to weigh more than a 4cyl...
SR's are made of aluminum
most people are using sr 20 engine in there cares i need something faster
