I think you've mentioned that once before and I always remembered that. I know when I started listening to him, I couldn't stop. I watched him EACH and EVERY MORNING except Saturday because he didn't come on Saturdays. But his ministry truly grew my faith and I had started making more money than I ever had in my life. My debt was paid. I remember he told us to stand on our bills and declare to be out of debt. I'm telling you, I did that and EVERYONE of those bills are paid off. It happened like that year or the next, I can't remember. After while, however, I started noticing that he ministry mostly talked about money. So I eventually stopped watching. Now, I have to be honest, my faith hasn't been the same since. I remember I had healing testimonies as well at the time because of his teaching. Since, I've noticed my faith hadn't been the same, I'm now watching Bill Winston again but now on youtube.

I love Bill Winston! I’ve listened to many of his sermons but most important What about preaching the gospel and about Hell and repentance? The Bible is clear on what pastors need to preach about. Repentance and Hell is repeated over and over again in the Bible yet I hear no sermons on that. The state of our soul and if we’re going to Hell (serving the devil) or heaven (serving God) is more important than any prosperity here on earth. An individual can be prosperous on earth financially and heading to Hell at the same time. That is scary! Many Christians are living in sin and very prosperous . Hell is eternal. We need to be way more concerned with where the soul is going than building wealth on an earth that is going to perish . Please don’t take this the wrong way. I’ve Been reading God’s word and Jesus speaks more about Hell and repentance than he does about anything else.

I think we all have a part to play for specific subjects. The same people who claim to hate the prosperity message and faith message are the same people who slave on a job for money. We as church people need to stop acting like money is not an issue. Got does not want me living paycheck to paycheck that I have settled in my heart and if people have a problem with Bill then that’s them but I don’t see an issue. I take the principle of what he says and use it to develop my faith and it’s working in not just money areas but my faith in God for healing, deliverance from addictions (pornography) and that never happened before. So you can say whatever he’s helped me that’s all I know
So I suppose if anyone in your congregation wants to hear the gospel to receive salvation they should switch to a church where there’s a man who has been called in that specialized service.

Amen!, I needed to hear this, everywhere I turned I would just hear prosperity gospel is evil and heresy but I prayed and sought the word but could not place my finger on what was wrong with it, as I saw it was scriptural. I think the problem is people only think that prosperity teaches that we will never have problems but the truth is yes the bible says there will be persecution, temptations and the whole deal here on this earth but the question is will you just sit there and blame it on God saying He is teaching you through it(which He isn't) or realize this is where you put God's word into effect to stand against the enemy. If you are an overcomer and heir of God's Kingdom then act like one and don't let the enemy try and deceive you to see his works and doings as the Lord's. God is capable of no evil so do not put it on Him, no good father would look at his son and correct him by hurting him or making him sick, so why would God who has immeasurable love do that, He says it Himself in His word that He corrects us with His word!
