Ruby is adorable! All of your furry babies are so loveable 💖 Hello Helene, it's a blessing to see and hear how you have adopted and given a beautiful home and love to your beautiful pets! Hats off to you Helene! 💖💝💐🏵
@cabinfevercrochet They never cease to amaze me. Rescues have so much resilience about them. I look forward to hearing more about Ruby and how your older dog continues to deal with the playful one. That is so cute! 💖 I hit a drawback on my scarf it. It was squeezing in like an hourglass. So I took it apart and now it's fine. I just love the patterns you create and the stitches that you use. I have never used double crochet in so many different ways in my whole life. Thank you for what you do, Helene! 💝💐🙋🏽♀️
@@sanders4914 Rescues sure do! They're so appreciative too! Lucy, our eldest, has been amazing! Even more than ever! Those two are like the Bobsie Twins! I'll be back on UA-cam soon. Beginning of the year, deadline stuff to take care of first. I'm sorry to hear you had issues with your scarf starting out; but whew, so glad it's turning out fine now. I'm so happy you enjoy my patterns! 💖 Really fun, knowing you're using double crochets, in all sorts of ways that are new to you! 😍🎉🌟
I LOVE this!!! They all look very happy and are so lucky to have a great home with you and your husband. I wanted to mention that you can do a dog DNA test that is easy and done through the mail and you will find out exactly what breeds she is, and also any health issues that she may be predisposed to with her DNA, so you can be on the lookout for any problems of that type.
Oh, thank you!! I’m so happy you enjoyed seeing them. Our cats were still in hiding! 😅 Growing up, we had a very special neighbor Boxer, who was a great friends with our Collie. I think her name was Princess, and oh boy, could she ever climb! Quite the sight to see her trying to scale a tree! I appreciate the DNA test info. I’ve been looking into different ones. If not next month, then hopefully March. Good to know of any potential health concerns. I’d love to do Dusty’s too. 💗🐶💗
Hello Helene, oh my goodness, such a fabulous video of your fur babies! I'm so glad to meet them. Over the years we have had seven dogs, all border or lassie collies. What an amazing time we have had, they are the centre of our world aren't they? Thankyou, look forward to updates! 💕💕💕
Hi Susan! Such a wonderful comment, thank you! I smile, big reading about your Border and Lassie Collies. They absolutely are the center of our world! Love that! I feel all warm and fuzzy inside, knowing that you enjoyed seeing them too! 🥰
I agree with the intelligence on both. I’m convinced Lucy understands conversations! She is nearly deaf now, unless I’m close. Been losing her sight too. Our red cattle dog before her, my beloved Emmy, was the same as she aged. Lived till almost 18. 🌈 Thank you for your heartfelt comment. They are truly gifts.
@cabinfevercrochet i have no doubt that Lucy understands your conversations, these types of dogs are said to understand 300 commands but I think it's far more as they are receptive of many things other than words. I currently have 2 BCs, the female came from a working sheep farm as a 8 week old so is really close to her herding roots, I have to spell some words so she doesn't know but then she learns that so I spell it backwards. Dogs, where would the world be without them. Good luck with Miss Rudy , the grand old lady Lucy and the rascally boy pup.
@@maude5160 Oh for sure! I believe the number of words and understanding exceeds what is thought to be. Along with their telepathic 6th sense, which I'm already seeing in Ruby. How wonderful you have 2 BCs! I imagine your pup will naturally herd, without even trying! Our first cattle dog, Buddy, was like that. I used to call him human, in a dog suit! The uncanny way he'd communicate was off the charts! Same with us, even with the adult two, spelling words. With Buddy, he learned that too! I never thought of spelling backwards; but used "code" talk instead. LOL! I'm with you and cannot imagine a life without dogs. Thanks for your wonderful comments/replies. All the best, to you too! 💗💗💗
Thank you! I am too! Our family wouldn't be the same without them! I really appreciate you watching, and for your lovely comment. I plan to do updates, and hope you’ll stay tuned!
she's beautiful looks like she's a cuddly girl bless her ...and ya right knowing the breed does help a lot ....we did lots of research on lily my fox red lab ...she's goofy lol but we love her ... i'd love updates on ruby
She’s very cuddly! I realized the chair to sleep, similar to riding in the car! Lily is a great name! Your foxy lady! I think goofy and lab goes together. Dusty is a big goofball, and a body slammer too. Wonderful to know you would love updates. Thank you! 😍
I love your mug, it brings the outdoors in! All your fur babies are beautiful, Ruby feels all the love you give her, she fell asleep so fast in your arms, I'm glad you found her. They keep our lives so interesting, what would we do without them?. My nephew Dan and his wife Diane went to Colville for a weeks getaway a few months ago, they're my family that I spent Christmas Day with. Some friends sent them on their trip, Diane has cancer and has been through so much. They stayed in a remote cabin, my nephew enjoys getting away from everything.. I'm looking forward to what you'll share with us in 2025 Helene, take care and God Bless!
Hi Cheryl. You are always a bright spot in my day. Really neat way you described my mug! 🌲🌲 It was a gift, made locally in their area, from northern Cal, Humboldt County, CA.
Oops. I hit the send button by mistake! It’s a very woodsy, artsy area. I love Ruby so much. We have quite the bond and trust already. That was beautiful what you said. I am so sorry for your nephew‘s wife and what she’s been through. I’m blessing they were able to get away, and sounds like had a retreat of sorts. Good for healing, good for the soul. Small world, coming near my neck of the woods. Any sightings of Bigfoot while there?? 49° north, I tested out my snow shoes and filmed the drive up in January 2020, is part of the Colville National Forest. I definitely don’t know what I would do with that puppers in my life. They’re such wonderful beings and such a gift to have. My computer went on the blink today. Taking it to the shop Thursday. Hoping it’s an easy fix. I won’t be able to upload anything until I get it back. Unless I try to rig something with my phone! I pray for Diane’s restored health. I hope it caught early enough, and a miracle comes through. Blessings to you too. 💙
@@cabinfevercrochet I can't believe that anyone would want to unsubscribe from you Helene, I'm sorry, but it's their loss. I'll have to go back and watch your Colville National Forest video, I always enjoyed going on the drives with you, I know they had a good time but I don't think they saw Bigfoot! I hope your computer is an easy fix, thank you for the prayers for Diane, we are all trusting in God for healing.💕💕
@@cherylheming1714 That’s so kind of you to say. Encouraging too. I know people come and go, and tastes/interests change. Colville is a logging town. An interesting mix of old west, farms, art, nature. I hope you’re having a beautiful day. ❤❤❤
She's adorable! We've had Corgis and she sure looks like she has a lot of Corgi in her. One of our Corgi rescues had very little hair when we got him. After a few months, he looked like a totally different dog. His coat came in so nicely. Enjoy your new pup!!
That’s really interesting, and helpful! I didn’t know Corgis are also herders and nippers, until I looked it up! We’re all enjoying her so much! Except for our cats! But slowly coming out of hiss mode and inching their way to new friendships. 😃
