Heidegger is a complex philosopher, controversial too. But the way you lead the whole conversation around Heidegger by making insightful segways and multidimensional interjections - make you one of the most unique commentator in my view. Sir I'm indebted!

Poetry to me is not just words that needs to be understood, It is the truest and most important use of language that most often does not become irrelevant after written, like many writings and ideas of people do. It's not even an idea that the poet thinks is smart or witty, it is the purest form of emotion and most often it is truer than any idea. Fiction reigns supreme but just for the right "Dasein".
Logic is for understanding material things and poetry is for understanding the ultimate.... Matter cannot be understood through poetry and the ultimate truth cannot be understood through logic....bahut din baad aapne video daala😊
Thank U, Ali Bhai, once again. I watched this video twice. Heidegger's view of poetry as a unique means of "unconcealing" truth is undeniably powerful, emphasizing the existential and revealing power of art. It drew my mind instantly to Josh Sahib. I hope and wish and humbly request if you could do a through video of Josh Sahib. His works has so much relevance to your larger endeavor. For instance: Josh Malihabadi’s poetic approach does resonate with Martin Heidegger’s philosophy, particularly in the way both thinkers view the role of art, nature, and perception in uncovering truths. Heidegger argued that poetry could "unconceal" or reveal layers of being that logic and scientific reasoning might overlook. Through poetry, he believed, humans could reconnect with the world in a more profound, intuitive way that goes beyond rationality alone. Josh’s verse, "Hum aise ahl-e-nazar ko saboot-e-haq ke liye, agar rasool na hote to subah kaafi thi," aligns with Heidegger’s notion of "unconcealment" through poetic insight. In this line, Josh suggests that for someone with a discerning eye, nature (symbolized by the dawn) itself serves as a testament to truth. This echoes Heidegger’s idea that poetry doesn’t simply describe reality; it brings aspects of existence into the light, allowing us to perceive truths that are often obscured in everyday, rational thought. Additionally, Josh’s rationalism has a unique mystical quality-he trusts human perception to reveal divine or existential truths, even without intermediaries like prophets. This self-reliant and direct approach to truth can be seen as mirroring Heidegger’s focus on "Being" and his emphasis on understanding existence without relying solely on external validation. Heidegger saw language, especially poetic language, as a primary way to connect with being authentically, and Josh’s reliance on the natural world as a source of revelation for ahl-e-nazar (the insightful) closely reflects this idea.
Great introduction.. Pehle bhi eek video main Heidegger ki baat huwi thi ki is nia bola tha Shayari wapas aani chahiye. Mujhe us pe Sir Iqbal ka ki eek line line yaad aayi thi "Waqt ast ki bukh-shayam mai-khana-e-Rumi baz" Sir Iqbal ka eek alag intention tha shayad but yes I too think poetry thodi common honi chahiye. Thoda maza ata. Earlier we used to entire Epic and Dastaans written in rhythm and rhym. Thank you For the video Sir ji!! ❤❤❤
Postmodernism was a reaction to modernism. Where modernism was about objectivity, postmodernism was about subjectivity. Where modernism sought a singular truth, postmodernism sought the multiplicity of truths-Miguel Syjuco
Sir, thankyou for the beautiful content on Heidegger and it is refreshing. Once I was impressed with his concept of dreadfullness, the possibility of impossibility and being in time i.e. in past present an future. It would be wonderful if series on Being and time is made if possible and time permits. Thanks once again.
Heidegger: meri maut koi aur nahin mar saktaa Ali saahab: waise to meri khaansi bhi koi aur nahin khaans saktaa 😅 love this channel, thanks for this great content!
Martin Heidegger! I can't believe it! You have made philosophy so interesting that I have started falling in love again. If possible, please do make a video on Jean Paul Sartre's Being and Nothingness book! It's too costly to buy! 🙏
Mohtaram, the way you engraving philosophy is unmatched, Could you please enlighten us why Heidegger at the end on the fruits of modern thoughts asked the help of God, thank you
Waiting for the next episode of "Beyond good and evil" of Nietzsche. I'm aligning my read with your videos so would help if we get one video each week.
First time listener, excellent effort. You made it easy. Are there forums or groups who are interested in continental philosophy, in Pakistan. I would like to join.
Buddhist concepts like anatta (no-self) and śūnyatā (emptiness) do explore fundamental questions of existence and our interconnectedness with the world, which overlaps significantly with Heidegger’s philosophy of Being and Being-in-the-world. Both investigate the nature of self and existence, questioning the idea of a separate, independent self. However, there are differences too, as these ideas come from two distinct traditions, each with its own philosophical and cultural context.
The only UA-cam channel that I can watch for an hour tirelessly without being bored... so interesting and engaging...
Thanks!
