You'll never see me in a Clan mech, but I've seen MWO videos of people driving around in sniper Hellbringers with four ERLLs, and they seem to be fun and effective.
0:35 I like the Clan mechs, they are still a part of the same universe. Ignore the haters, it's your Channel 😀.
I mostly say it for comedic purposes.
I don't have a problem with the Clans and their tech in general. It makes sense that they evolved and improved their technology, and built what amounts to a high-tech warrior society, while the Inner Sphere nearly bombed itself back to the 21st century and was resorting to scrounging and using more basic technology to keep their armies in fighting shape, all the while distracted by their own wasteful struggles. The Clans may be OP, but it fits with the lore of the Inner Sphere being like the late Roman Empire being invaded by the Goths and Huns, but the barbarian invaders have the superior technology, tactics and weapons.
Just my 0.02 on the Clans vs the Inner Sphere.
That last one is an apt analogy.
Thanks GDN for another great stompie video
You're welcome!
The Hellbringer is the pinnacle of clan true born ideologies that they want in a front line mech. Make it run fast, hit hard, but give it almost no armor.
Edit: Also make it a jack of all trades for all type of engagements.
Huge fan of the Hellbringer.
No, it does not last long. No, it is not the best design.
But it is very, very lethal.
Please do the flashman.
One day :)
Trade offs, trade offs. Keep the standard armor, it's cheaper to fix, and you keep the massive amount of pod space, or go Ferro, and get more protection, but lose firepower, and cost more to fix. Or slap in a very expensive( and eaiser to destroy) XL Engine.
Love thes mech vids! Still waiting for that video on the Rim Worlds Campaign in the Amaris civil war hehehe
It's funny that in lore it was replaced by the ebon jaguar, the same thing sort of happened in MWO.
Lolwut
The HBR and Linebacker are probably the top two 65 tonners in the game
@@Omniseed I'll give you the laser ECM HBR's are still big but I don't see many linebackers outside of faction or the odd group drops. 2 LP 6 er med ebons I see like one every .7 drops.
BATTLETECH
Hello
Hello.
An excellent Mech for Trials ,but in a real war it finds itself lacking in Battlefield durability
I love the lore so much but the game and show suck many d.😥
Too bad :(
It's disgusting. I love it.
Edit: Oh, damn. I didn't know it had standard structure. That's crazy. Almost everything the Clans use tends to be Endo-Steel.
They should all have endo instead of ferro if they need more critical slots, but there's actually a pretty diverse mix of structure-armor materials in Clan mechs
Love this mech. Very versatile:)
Ooo gotta love the hellbringer my go to 65 tonner
Clan mechs are cool
1:55 some random guy named Galen Cox 😀... he was Victor's aid 😎.
What a badass name.
Clan 'mechs are fine, if a little weird in game mechanics. They tend to come with this annoying gunk in the cockpit that requires a vigorous scrubbing to clear out.
Lol, i see what you did there.
Then I suggest you get in touch with a local Sea Fox representative
For enough cash they will get you Hellbringer slightly used but in perfect condition
Hellbringer is one of my go to mechs for batchalls and planetary assaults. Great balance of armor, speed, and firepower.
This is probably my fave mech in MWO, used to run it with 6 ERMlas and 1xLBX10. Its such a ninja mech.
Anything that can carry an LB-20X is OK in my book. I’d probably drop one of the secondary weapons and add more armor, but some say survival is overrated.
I like the configuration that carries two LB 10X cannons.
Why people dont like Clan ?
Multiple reasons. Some say they're OP.
I loved this mech, always swapped out some weapons for more armor though
This is definitely the grandson of the Warhammer.
One of my favorite clan mechs.
I remember remodeling it with Large Pulse Lasers and ER Medium Lasers coupled to a Targeting Computer and SRM6 Streak launcher. The rest was given over to more armor and double heatsinks. Can't remember if I upgraded the engine for more speed 🤔
I do remember guys playing as I.S. getting mad when my Hellbringer units were able to close and get behind to fire accurate fire to rear torso areas for the kill
Thanks for the share.
Loki, its always Loki!
This and the summoner are like my top favorite clan mechs
They're pretty much related, the Loki and Thor :)
Thor is one of the mechs Ive had the most time inside the cockpit of. Just wish it were 75 tons, for just the fact 75 toners have the best stats...
The fact the Grand Summoner dosent up its tonnage sadness me.
I just picked up one atmy local gane shop, hope it works well lol
Hopefully.
👍
HBR-A with 2PPCs and one LB-10X is my go-to bucket
