    I watch everything worthwhile when it comes to poker on yt, but your content is just gold. I thought I was already a good player, but your approach to the game showed me how little I still know. Thank you.

    I play the same limits as you but im in Ontario. We have a very similar playstyle so I really enjoy these videos and some of the beautiful inducing and manipulative play. My win rate is is around 3.5 bbs so theres definately something to learn for me. Keep up the great work buddy, its definately an art playing exploitative poker.

    Very interesting hand min 20:15.
    AQ playing XR on that flop. Wanna ask, what was your plan if villain calls?

    • @playitsmartpoker

      @modeob88 Рік тому

      @@playitsmartpoker not sure what is a brick in this spot.
      7 to 9 for sure not a brick.
      T is a brick? maybe brick to the board, but villain has TT on his range.
      maybe 2 and 3 are only pure bricks.

    What do you think about 3-betting bigger with 99 vs Rec? If he calls j7s for 16bb I think you can 3-bet 99 to 15bb+ and not fold out any lower pairs

    • @playitsmartpoker
      @playitsmartpoker  Рік тому

      Yeah theoretically you want to size as big as you can with value if they will call a wide range but since you don't know what that size is in the beginning then you should stick to default size. If your opponent is folding to no 3bets then size up for value for sure

      thanks, might have been a video for my private poker class (If you're interested in more details check the discord) I'm currently in BC. Rake on GG is high, not sure how high tbh. Games are a certainly still beatable and I love the software :)

  • @KingLeoBet
    @KingLeoBet 5 місяців тому

    Why so extreme big 3b/ squeeze sizes? Normally i go 3.5-4.5. You squeeze bad hands with 15+bb,risk / effort is too high, i think you would get same result with lower sizes.

  • @merk4878
    @merk4878 Рік тому

    do the amount of recreationals on GG make up for the high rake or is it better to stick to stars?

    • @playitsmartpoker
      @playitsmartpoker  Рік тому

      Really depends on your poker goals, volume and stake level on the gg vs stars debate. GG is certainly beatable though and the software is fantastic

  • @infosrelevantes7146

    Do you have a positive red line?

    • @playitsmartpoker
      @playitsmartpoker  Рік тому +2

      Overall in NL yes but not in every game or stake level. Focus on green line. Plenty of lineups where the players are playing very aggro and are not willing to fold and so you should be trapping and value betting them a ton. Your red line will go down but your blue and green line will sky rocket and that's the correct way to exploit these players.

    6:30 Your math in the first place is way off. If gto wins 5bb/100 from one player and 10bb/100 from another, there is no way he could ever win 15bb/100 vs these players, because even if he plays hu vs fish, he only wins 10bb/100, so adding dynamic reg in the game his winrate cannot go up. So winrate need to be in between, more correct is gto winrate 7,5bb/100, dynamic 17,5bb/100 and fish -25bb/100.
