- Grass Technology manufactures Ireland's most robust and long lasting machine. Here you can see the Grass Tech Grazer in action, along with the views of some of our customers. Zero Grazing in Ireland has become very popular as it offers much flexibility to farmers. For more information on the Grass Tech Grazer or videos see www.grasstech.ie
When you haven’t the land around the farm for grazing it’s ideal to bring the grass to the cows
and dont foget 1 or 2months to dry for grass to grow

Ask Donal Costello about them
How much in USD does this machine cost
Hi Ken,
The price differs depending on the model and specifications of machine. I understand you are Kenyan - we have some zero grazers in Kenya at the moment imported through our partners Dairy Africa Ltd. We would be glad to arrange for you to view the machines working on the farms - please email info@grasstech.ie and we can talk further.
@@grasstechnology ,
Please, do you have a partner in Nigeria ?
in canada farm animals grsze 5 months of the year 2 months they destroy the grass 5 months hand feed
why pay for this tech when the cows can eat the grass on their own and save on capital and fuel??? This makes no sense to me.
You get better value for your land because you get all the grass. When you let them out themselves they trample tons of it and don't eat lots too
Trampling is part of mob grazing. It stimulates grass growth and provides cover for the soil which then decomposes into mulch.
We did both,, to see the pros+cons,, there wasn't much in it to be fair,, it's all do to the individual farm... But for me,, letting the cows feel the sun on their backs is just the best....
Depending on weather cows out in the field knee deep in muck lessens gain and impacts the field. Animals won’t eat where they poo. This gets grazing efficiency per acre up to 90 percent. Yeah a natural systems makes sense when you have ideal conditions and tons of hectares to support animal units. It all depends what consumers are willing to pay for. We do grass finished beef. It takes us 21 months to finish an animal instead of 8 months on grain. The consumer is willing to pay . Otherwise I’d go grain to finish quicker. You speak with your purchase. Ie put your money we’re your mouth is
Adam Kruskama cattle don't eat their poo
This has got to be the dumbest way I've ever seen to feed livestock, especially herbivores, who graze, by nature, for free... but beyond that, I just have 2 questions... 1) how much debt are those farmers still in today? 2) how much money have the creators of this machine made?
if u do not lke to be in debt up to ur neck then find other work or play around wih farmingas s hobby
@@arthurdewith7608 the implication being you can't farm on a large scale without debt? I don't think you can do it with debt, at least not effectively and sustainably, and certainly not profitably. The banker will own you and evey aspect of your farm, and all decisions will first include him... all the while you're working a "town job" to make his payment. Maybe that's what you meant by "play around with farming as a hobby," because it's definitely no way to make a living.
I've made a living on my farm for 10 years now
