It's a fundamentally flawed game, especially compared to its successors, but I love its overall presentation (even though it doesn't feel like a WWF/E game in tone to me). The graphics and lighting, the music, and the overall aesthetic remind me of a late 90s arcade game, and I love that about it.

The packaging for the game may have had the WWE Logo. I remember a few games getting their box art rebranded or photoshopped after the switch from WWF to WWE, including Smackdown 2: Know Your Role. My dumb ass, who didn't have the internet, saw WWE Smackdown 2 and thought it would somehow be an updated version of the game with the Invasion guys and Brock Lesnar in it. So I bought the same game twice within the span of a couple of years. A decade later, I look at my two copies of Skyrim on the 360 and Xbox One, and realize that history repeats.
This game has people who Joined the Invasion such as RVD, Lance Storm, Booker T, Raven, and many others! I like this Game and I like how the Smackdown Arena looked because It has a Classic feel to It like It's 2002 all over again.
