The first guy and the Brit made a lot of sense to me. Neither seemed overly ego-driven. Bragging is a very childish thing to do and one that, thankfully, most of us grow out of - if we even start in the first place. Before the internet, no-one liked a braggart. Now, it's highly-paid career. I think bragging is a sign of deep insecurity. Who are they trying to convince? In the case of these Tier 1 liars/exaggerators/embellishers, I think they are seeking daddy's approval. It defo is rooted in their childhoods.

Right on with everything aside from gatekeeping tactics. There’s absolutely no reason to hide any of that. If someone has malicious intent, they will find a way to facilitate it. Being able to pie a door, enter a threshold as a team etc is not so ‘high level’ that it should be hidden from civilians, nor is it so outside of the realm of possibility that a civilian might need that info. The cats out of the bag anyway when pdfs and field manuals can be found for free or cost next to nothing online. We the people have a right to train and to learn from trained professionals. This is just as goofy as the argument people make that civilians have no right to wear kit. Apparently none of it is acceptable unless at some point you carried a gun on behalf of the government, and as someone who did, that line of thinking is unamerican.
Let us all remember that 98% of SOF do not have a UA-cam channel and rarely brag or inflate their service. Do not judge the entire SOF community based on those very few.
In the UK if you go to Hereford, the home of the SAS, you’d think the SAS had thousands of members. I remember drinking in a pub and a bloke came in wearing a massive gold ring with the winged dagger on it. I know he drove a tractor for a living.
I love seeing greedy and low character people being exposed by the truth. Not bc I hate them personally but bc they take away credit from people who deserve those rewards

50:45 He talks about how not everybody who was a SEAL or whatever doesn’t mean they were necessarily super relevant. Truth. I’ve been told that before. I happen to know a couple guys who were SEALS. One just got out after a very long career in the teams and having been there done that in a bunch of unpleasant places. The other never did a combat deployment. He did go to Afghanistan to work as a contractor after he got out of the navy. But he’s the first one to admit he was a very expensive human fir the navy. He trained and trained mire and went to this school, and that one, etc. But he never tries to claim he did anything he didn’t actually do. He was a contractor for quite a while and put some of that training to use after leaving the navy, but he says once he was a bad investment firm the navy because they never got much return on him. Dude is no slouch tho, he did some shit as a contractor until he got blown up and had a long recovery and still walks w a bit of a limp if you pay attention, but he’s worked in private security where I met him in the states after he recovered from his leg injuries. But he’s a level headed guy and doesn’t make a big thing of being a seal and doesn’t try to hide what he did and didn’t do in the navy. But I’ve worked with a guy who was a Navy Seabee that used to be one of the “vague” insinuating type guys they talked about here. He constantly wore a NSW jacket and would make it seem like he was a SEAL but was just being humble about it do he didn’t ever have to say it but was able to make a lot of our coworkers believe he was something he wasn’t. And it was stupid because the guy actually did some pretty cool stuff and I actually believe some stuff he eventually told me about working in support of the teams and a cool project he was involved with at one time. I just don’t get why he couldn’t just tell the truth when he had plenty to be proud of. Just wanted to have the extra admiration and respect I guess but that blew up in his face when I showed up and asked if he was a team guy and quickly sniffed out his BS but he tried to run his extreme humble brag on me to start with but first time he was enjoying his unearned clout in a big group of coworkers and he was letting some chick make sure people knew he was a SEAL…But I didn’t cooperate and he lost some cool points that evening. Shoulda stuck with being the coolest Seabee any of us knew. But he couldn’t help himself. There was another dude that was a big fat disgusting loudmouth who found every possible chance to bring up his service in the army and rub his suck about his delusions about what he did. Pretty sure he was an MP fir a little while but didn’t do anything special or cool and he did do one deployment to Iraq. But he would follow the “Sealbee” guys lead (see what I did there…seaLbee…. And the slob would try to make people think he was a Ranger and apparently used to pretend without saying it that he was a green beret before my time. He started up with implying he was a Ranger one day and it just happened to be that my buddy really was a Ranger, and really was exactly when and where the slob claimed to have been there so that got uncomfortable. Dude claimed to remember my buddy but never really knew him well…. The panic in his eyes when I fired up the ol,FaceTime and put him on the spot. I’d talked to my buddy about it and he’s a friggin character so he just clowned the hell outta jellotits my lying coworker. And a bunch of people were around so the Ranger games ended finally but he still told just stupid BS stories about killing a bunch of people and stuff that I’m still shocked that some people there actually believed. Having so many dumb people around I think encourages guys to do that shit too.
I just feel sorry for people who so lack in self-confidence that they have to pretend to be something that they are not. I can see no point in being aggressive towards them. Mayhap point them in the direction of some councelling.
There’s an old joke in the British military reference the Iranian embassy siege if all the people who said they were on that balcony were actually there it would have been a battalion assault lol That being said I had a friend of mine who passed selection about a year later he returned for visit so of course we all asked that question. What’s it like? He’s reply was a bit of let down. He said it’s just like battalion he said you have the same personalities and the same issues as you do in battalion The same issues with kit and equipment the same issues with pay and base housing the same waiting list for courses and promotions he did say however that you do have more of an individual say and the moneys great he also said there was a heavy cap badge mentality where guys from certain units formed little cliques I’d imagine it’s the same state side where former rangers stick with former rangers and the same with former SF guys
Some of these guys also delete truthfull comments they don't like because it might not agree with their narrarative. Same as a lie, to me. Same with google censorship. I hope Elon buys UA-cam.
You want to know why the infantry guys were shooting more than Delta? Delta wasn't living on little combat outposts in the mountains and doing presence patrols. Delta was doing raids with every enabler imaginable. And they are trained to a much higher level. So they can move faster and overwhelm the enemy without having to shoot a lot of the time. You're sounding pretty self-righteous for a guy who didn't serve.
You guys talk about sof alot I no alot of guys who where in infantry units in reserve and guard who have more trigger time than some of these sof brothers even the guy in Valhalla podcast even says it
Yes, they are guys that have to slog it in with very little intel, no sleep, humping everything they own, without an AC-130 & all kinds of assets overhead supporting them & telling them where the bad guys are with only the very best weapons that you KNOW won't malfunction on you. Those are the REAL warfighters, not tactic-cool school commandos trying to sh*t on each other's service branches to make it look like yours is better.
So many non-SOF troops that spent much more time down range than a lot of the "operators".. Multiple 12-15 month deployments, getting into TICs and dealing with IEDs on the regular, pulling convoy security, route clearance, cordon and search day after day....basically, doing the dirty work that actually holds territory. Not to mention, there are so many different support troops that dealt with the same shit - commo, medics, truck drivers, etc. So many troops that got put through all levels of living hell. And yet, it's like it doesn't count unless you can call yourself an "operator" - which is ridiculous. What's also kinda' interesting is it's pretty much never the average troop that's hopping on the internet to vomit their stories on the interweb. We all just slip back into the background and continue to hold things down while the special folks circle jerk on the internet. They got my admiration and respect for what they've done...but never once have I felt as though what I did wasn't just as valuable as what they did.
But, telling the TRUTH matters. And, holding them accountable matters. Saying, “I don’t want to get involved,” when you have the competency to fact check something easily, seems short sided and dismissive. If a liar knows people won’t check their lies -they will keep going. If you can help, please help, set the record straight for those of who get caught up in others’ lies.
Lol every damn UA-cam podcast military show, exposing some other dude that said this sheit and said that sheit...lol you guys the days of our lives of the sof community of the world😂😂😂😂

And asked questions to the fonny that don't add up. Then contacting ( Don) to do the talking or look up the fonnys military records ( usually none) and most have a criminal record 😊
Unless you’re in the Marines, all special forces are just talkshow hosts😂
Marines?
Cope from a branch that doesn’t even have a respected SOF component 💀
I’ve had so many people say I was a Ranger and I usually ask what Ranger battalion … then I hear I don’t remember. I’ve heard that a lot
Great Minds Talk about ideas
Small minds talk about people
People who BS to make money off others need to be called out; it is wrong.
@@leonidaslantz5249did you serve with any of these alleged BS individuals ? and do you have first hand knowledge of any particular events in Question ??
Perfectly said. Tired of the “mean berets club”
So who brings up the people who will make the ideas come to fruition?
@@possum9562 your question has no bearing on the subject ,which is lying to make money.
Good stuff. Can you include the names of the members you interviewed for this? I'm normally not really into this type of military stuff, but this episode is quite interesting and entertaining. Thanks for your work on this!

Exactly…The Delta Support Squadron dictates Unit Mission success in more ways than people will ever care to know.
As far as I care, if you weren’t on the Balcony with us, you’re not an Operator.
Bill. Iranian Balcony Operator number 11,273.
That’s real
Can confirm.
Balcony operator #11,274.
Spec Ops Balcony Assault Team Leader.

Great topic.
Have pride if you served/serving
All the jobs are necessary. Most of these Operators are scumbags. Definitely not this video
I remember when i was at the Battle of Mimban. Tim Kennedy saved our unit single handed
I tried to sign up for army Rangers, but they told me I couldn’t unless I became a talkshow host… that just talks about the four years that I’ve worked for the next 50 years
What civilians don't realize some of us non SF guys seen alot gunfights
If TK wants to put this to rest, the proof shall set him free.
I was infantrymen,intell ,US Army Retired 2011
this SF guy has to be the most unassuming operator ever he's great
For civilians if some guy wants to let you about his great service be wary. The real folks don’t talk unless you are one who would understand.
So other than Tim Kennedy, what other "operator influencers" are they talking about as having embellished their service? Who have I seen amongst the influencers makes you think they were an operator but were actually support guys?
People who do that need help they are not right in the head lack of self confidence
How many guys have been on the delta force ? I imagine its a extremely small group of men .
Brad is the man!!! 🎸
I worked at JSOC,,ATF. I was a janitor
It would be nice to add names to these subjects.
It's basically lying for them.
Let us all remember that 98% of SOF do not have a UA-cam channel and rarely brag or inflate their service. Do not judge the entire SOF community based on those very few.
Very True. I know someone who tells people he was a cook.
In the UK if you go to Hereford, the home of the SAS, you’d think the SAS had thousands of members. I remember drinking in a pub and a bloke came in wearing a massive gold ring with the winged dagger on it. I know he drove a tractor for a living.
Pulling each other down on social media is weakness to enemy.. im us veteran
My father wouldn't talk about it at all.
The truth wins eventually
I love seeing greedy and low character people being exposed by the truth. Not bc I hate them personally but bc they take away credit from people who deserve those rewards

Remember the Civvie pilot that blatently lied in a interview saying he flew Vipers with such n such Sqdn .
He only got found out because one of the sqdn pilots bought the said magazine the civvie pilot s interview / article and read it then posted about it on a forum which went viral ..
This is narcissistic behavior and I love how they don’t even see it.

Mike Burke at min 48:35 : TRUTH
Shrek has been out there a TON lately. He has to be one of them lol. He’s crazy

Why we even talking about this, its showing weakness to enemy. Im us veteran 03-07
He said it’s just like battalion he said you have the same personalities and the same issues as you do in battalion
The same issues with kit and equipment the same issues with pay and base housing the same waiting list for courses and promotions he did say however that you do have more of an individual say and the moneys great he also said there was a heavy cap badge mentality where guys from certain units formed little cliques I’d imagine it’s the same state side where former rangers stick with former rangers and the same with former SF guys
I can't understand how the pome thinks people who protect pedos and resists would take them seriously 😂
Some of these guys also delete truthfull comments they don't like because it might not agree with their narrarative. Same as a lie, to me.

Some yall on social media doing this were commissioned officers. Im very disappointed sir
You have SOF guys that lie hmmm 🤔 Tim Kennedy, Marcus Luttrel…
I think my brother driving humvee was most dangerous
You want to know why the infantry guys were shooting more than Delta? Delta wasn't living on little combat outposts in the mountains and doing presence patrols. Delta was doing raids with every enabler imaginable. And they are trained to a much higher level. So they can move faster and overwhelm the enemy without having to shoot a lot of the time. You're sounding pretty self-righteous for a guy who didn't serve.
This bad topic sir, im us veteran. Enemy is social media too.
Us older us veterans would be back in fight. First they wouldn't get close
Read the Nemesis File everyone,,dirty tricks galore 🏴
