Join me today as I go to a Chanel event. The brand recently launched a new nail polish series so they had a manicurist in store for the occasion and I got my makeup done by one of my favourite Chanel makeup artists, Mélanie Brideau.

I recently returned home to Oregon from London and Paris. I spent some time at the flagship Paris Chanel store. What a wonderful experience spent in the makeup area. Treated so well. Got some great advice on makeup and skin care. After choosing items to buy they are presented on a black tray along with your choice of drinks served in beautiful stemware. Wow. Here I have to buy my Chanel at Nordstrom. How I wish we had a real Chanel store

The Chanel #38 Bleu Metal eye liner is my absolute favorite and I wear it almost daily! I highly recommend it if you don't already have it

Thank you! You too! I couldn’t decide on one nail colour and I’m happy with how all 3 worked together. The makeup was lovely as well, Mélanie used pinks and blues together and it came out so pretty.

Hi Alison! The makeup their makeup artist did on you is gooooorgeous. So sunny and summery - it looks wonderful on you. With all due respect to Dior (which I love), this makeup appears a level up more stunning… well at least on camera, of course it’s so much better in person, we understand that. @@AllisonChase it turned out so beautiful on you, but the thing is, it’s a pretty universal look and she used universal and popular products, it would probably suit almost everyone.
Yeah well my summer “makeup” look includes basically moisturizer, spf and a lip balm🤣🤣 it’s so nice when you have time and opportunity to treat yourself and have someone do your makeup 🥰 (or even do it yourself 🤣) Anyway, it’s so inspiring ☺️
I've already bought 3 of the nailpolishes: Immortel, Ovni and Muse (I still have the old mirage) The lilac it's just my color, blue 'cause I like pastels and Ovni it was just so fun and summer that I need it. Also cause I like doing total looks and I have a yellow dress from Uniqlo to combine with. But I'm so in love with ovni that I still hasn't try the blue one! Shall I do my nails with all the colors? I also tried to add some shimmer with a transparent pearlish shimmer topcoat and I love it. I'm not sure I like the formula thought, but maybe it's because those are pastels, and pastels seem to have worst formulas overall. Now, I want a pastel vibrant green I don't find in Chanel selection.
Oh really? I haven’t tried my pastel blue that I purchased. Today I’m wearing my red shade that I bought. Incendiaire I think it was called. I liked the application.
I had that blue eyeliner and mine was so dry that I ended up giving it to my daughter and got a Dior one that is way better for me.

Thank you! I'm enjoying that manicure- very cute and I actually like the green. And thanks for explaining what color Incendiaire nail polish is as I may have to look into it for summer. I wish we could all choose samples of the other perfume scents (Les Eaux ?) as I am more curious about them as opposed to the classic chanel perfume lines. Ex. Paris Paris. Not where I live!

Idk how i feel about the new releases, im kinda bored with this stuff the YSL bronzer in # 3 is a yes for me but hopefully the pans will actually be glued down and not falling apart like the quads i know i got my YSL quads and they where broken along with a ton of other people's. I smelled the YSL scent it smells good a hint of cherry( maybe a travel size ) but i love the YSL Le Black Opium that one is the best scent , i actually went out of my way to purchase that one at xmas and im super picky with frangerance.
I can't wait to try that YSL perfume! It sounds exactly like something I would love ❤

Yes they did. The manicure lasted me a week.
