- A promotional video tape that given away at Tokyo Game Show in Spring of the year 2000 that is a preview of the Game Arts sequel to Grandia (Sega Saturn, Sony PS1), Grandia II for the Dreamcast. The tape itself is of pretty cheap quality--after all, it was a free promotional item--and other Sega games got similar tapes around this era. Grandia II was one of my favorite games on the Dreamcast, one I revisited many times in my youth...if you've not played it and have a chance, play it on the DC over the PS2 (less than optimal port) and from what I hear, the Switch version.

I say this with love, Grandia 2 is a great B tier RPG
One of the best of the B-tier RPGs--when it was released, though, I thought it was S-tier.
I see you've got some free time on your hands now that it's summer vacation
While I do have a week and a half off, and I am so happy for that, I've been prepping these uploads for weeks now (and everything is scheduled). I am currently replaying through Seaman on the Dreamcast for a new video I am trying to make since my old footage seems to have been deleted. Anyway, hope you're doing well! Let's catch up sometime.
@@IGFTWDump Yeah we should, I'm taking a trip back home but I'll be back around the end of August
Really liked this rpg back in day. Feel its kind of shallow now though.
I think it's severely overlooked and was such a big deal when it was released. Good story (my God, that ending), fantastic graphics, and voice acting that was some of the best of the era. I remember the day my parents bought me this. I haven't played it from start to end in over two decades, so it might be shallow in retrospect, but I feel it deserves more praise/respect in the grand(ia) scheme of things.
