I am broke and that taught me not be to overly materialistic in life. As long as my basic day-to-day needs are met, I am as happy as those rich folks in your video. If I were as rich as them (which is highly unlikely), I would be busy helping the less fortunate (in my country and around the world) instead of flaunting the wealth on non-practical for show nor functional items. In fact, I will be doing good on the quiet and have fame fright.
But if u were talking bout my rich friend who can travel singapore airlines from japan to usa(shes currently in Japan) and can be given $50 a week, well i guess ur rite And shes 12 and a selfish girl 🙄
Okay but the word “fancy” and “rich kids” is overused as f*ck here. Also, I’d just like to state that all the samples they used here were frickin gaudy instagram posts. The infinity pool belongs to MBS, not the dude. Cars are expensive, but middle to mid-upper class usually own one or more. A lot of the material used were stock photos, and people generally don’t even care what brand you’re shoes are or what you carry and adorn yourself with here. Jeez, we’re pretty relaxed and not all about the big houses and fancy clothes. People just wear slippers out for dinner and not post pictures of them all over instagram. Could I just add that rich people do not automatically have the mindset of “we have all the money in the world to spend, no need to save”? Those who are rich do care about education and send their children to prestigious top schools, public, private or international. Even so, the most hardcore flaunting you see there are just along the lines of “got the limited edition Nike shoes in right now!” or “switched to a new wallet, got bored to that old Coach one” (yeah I have a friend who pulls this sort of stuff every once in a while) which is honestly not that bad? Not too the level of ridiculousness you saw in like a handful of people’s instagrams but yeah, sure, whatever you say. Clearly Talko did some quality research.
That's not as extravagent as I thought. I know other Singaporean kids that are way richer and are leading lives you can't even imagine lol. And then there's the other group that is also from extremely wealthy families and you can't really tell from the way they act or how down to earth they are.
Yue Yuzuki yahhh my teacher has a Friend who is a wealthy person but she said that she didn’t even know her Friend has a yacht until she got invited to her Friend open house
C'mon,Singaporean rich kids is overrated, like:"Oh,she has a 50-karat diamond ring and necklace! She lives in a bungalow near Changi!"No,most of us is NOTTT.Singaporeans live in high-rise flats, and not landed property. We can go to ION whenever we want!We don't need hundreds of money to go!I pulled Peter Lim's dog's fur when I was like3,and he had freaking bodyguards around him and my dad thought that his dog would bite me because HE WAS FRICKIN LARGER AND TALLEE THAN ME.AND IT WAS AT A LOCAL PARK.NOT A PRIVATE ONE.My point? We all work hard and the stress is real.I'm having a test that basically decides my life this year!So if you think it's extravigant, think again! We all struggle to reach expected grades to live a life, not as cool as you thought,eh?
I think the main problem is that many rich kids assume they are poor or dont see themselves as rich just because they lack certain thing. Also, the true rich people are those who are both rich and humble to others :)
In Singapore , some people think that if you live in “bigger” houses . Like a terrace , bungalow etc. The people think that of ur live this those places , means you are SUPER rich. Not true. Like me, I live in a terrace house but the price of it was 1m. Now , it’s 5 million dollars ! The bills can go up to $1000 and sometimes $2000. It really isn’t easy living in Singapore. Especially if everything is so expensive.
You may not be "super" rich, but you are rich, there's no disputing that. Simply the bills you pay are more than how much many people earn in a month. To these same people, a million dollar house is a pipe dream. You should be grateful for the home you own and not lament the hardships, but appreciate the privileges you have.
I am a middle class Singaporeans and honestly those rich and famous Singaporeans are mostly sucked up and bad attitude, like they are the kings and queens of the world. But please don't hit the whole boat with a stick cause many others I met are well behaved and compassionate. A piece of advice to those who are having the high attitude of characteristic - the flower will not be red forever. I seen some rich people went down and had no friends after that cause their sucked up attitude made them enemy of all. May the LOVE be with you always!
Don’t compare and be happy, we in Sg live sos much better than so many in third world countries. Also think about this way: they are just earning undeserved money from their hardworking parents,
there are restaurants much more expensive than Hilton hotel, reaching easily $1,000 such as 1-Stellar. Plus you really don't have to be filthy rich to frequent ion orchard.
You forgot many other people, like Dr Micheal Lim. He’s has many beautiful children and owns a absolutely stunning French Mansion. It even has its own Art Gallery in it, he has a big businesses and is mega rich!
Rinne Desu i cant afford to buy lunch today. My dad left my family and my mom is working as a cleaner. I have a little brother to look after so i cant work. Yes.. I exist... And so does other poor people.
but that’s the point of this video what. It’s about rich kids of Singapore, the minority. So of course most of us don’t relate. You said “but 90% is broke” but ya lah! This video is about the top 10% what. Not the 90% so why are you surprised lol. No hard feelings just my thoughts.
Okay, now my eyes are full. When I was watching rich kids in America, my eyes were very hungry because I’ve spent more things than them but when I watched this, my eyes are no longer hungry but very full.
I'm Italian living & working in Singapore. If I were an extremely rich kid I would own my personal spa with good looking male masseur therapists to pamper me. It's true we can't bring our money in the next world, but we definitely need it in this one. Whoever says money can't buy happiness doesn't have it or has no imagination
Nah, I'll probably have an "emergency account" where it will remain untouched until necessary. But other than that, I will definitely spend that money on things. I'll travel the world, live in the best places while I travel, eat the best local food as well. I'll be able to help out my parents, help charity organisations for causes that I care about. Life will be so good~~ haihhzz, maybe one day 😅
can't pick i love everything anime Some of the wealthy second generations end up spending through all that money, no idea how but if they don’t take care of finances money can run out pretty quickly with their kind of lifestyle. Sadly some probably won’t ever learn since their parents will probably just pull them out of the water and they’ll continue.
from a middle class worker. if they are so rich why do they still need to take a bath, poop and pick their nose? i can also do that. so i think we are all equals. all are decaying bags of flesh living on borrowed time.
Sojourner ofcursedearth ! If they were really that rich, they should hire someone to poop for them...pick their noses for them, per for them...etc. I totally agree with you.
And here I thought the only people in Singapore that is Super rich is the government bc they literally rip money from ur pockets 😂 haizzz… Singapore is a expensive country to live in
Follow me on Instagram at Twice fan 4 ever most ministers can earn way more money in the private sector but they choose to work for the government instead

To think homeless cardboard boxes collecting elders still roaming around in spore streets its pathetic.. To think for each rich kid if they can collectively built homes for these homeless elders life will be a better place for them... If only the rich thinks of the unfortunate n share their wealth this world wld be a better place for all regardless of ethnic race language or religion... Temasek58
They chose to embrace competition and were taught by the wrong people to not have mercy on their enemies and competition, CAPITALISM is a strong endeavour and perceived as a mandatory only strictly in their heads, thats DIVISION between the minority and majority
They earned it though! wtf..... people needs to change this kind of mindset stop blaming people for being filthy rich coz they earned it instead of ranting it all out on them why won't you build your own empire and start helping those people you say? ugh so done with this shit
The funniest thing about this is that I'm family friends with Dhillon, their family is wealthy but not insane wealthy, these guys are blowing it out of proportion and Dhillon himself never really wanted that attention haha
How can u as a singaporean who earned at least $1000/month cannot go anywhere ? Im indonesian and i only earn around $450 still can go to overseas for holiday
These top 0.1% get to enjoy everyday and benefit from low taxes while everyday Singaporeans feel the squeeze... and still the government ignores their plight because they are rolling in cash too
Random Things Of Life half of these kids started their own businesses and their parents came up from nothing or worked hard at their own businesses. They’re all extremely educated. Don’t be so ignorant.
Random Things Of Life my parents worked hard and they get lots of money I live in a mansion with my parents even though thry buy me whatever I want... I'm not like other kids.... I only get a dog And other stuff like my own room... but I also home schooled... it like study for a few hours
I'm not sure about other countries, but many of the kids with the best results and most students from very good schools in Singapore come from rich families. Sure, you can probably argue that that's because they have the resources but you can't deny how hard they work.

wtf is this video, some of the photos aren't even an accurate representation of the bungalows or landscapes in Singapore...
I agree
Georgia Lim foreigners like PRC then do all this things in Singapore
maybe cuz these are special bungalows that you'd probably never see when you're driving around because they're secluded?
um dude... these r literally pictures they ripped off from google images
maybe Google images of secluded places in Singapore?
That's not as extravagent as I thought. I know other Singaporean kids that are way richer and are leading lives you can't even imagine lol. And then there's the other group that is also from extremely wealthy families and you can't really tell from the way they act or how down to earth they are.
Yue Yuzuki yahhh my teacher has a Friend who is a wealthy person but she said that she didn’t even know her Friend has a yacht until she got invited to her Friend open house
yah many rich singaporean tend to hide their wealth
She is wrong don't listen! I'm Singaporean but I don't know a single one of them
C'mon,Singaporean rich kids is overrated, like:"Oh,she has a 50-karat diamond ring and necklace!
Singaporeans, no matter in what class you are, can basically afford anything when it comes to essentials.
Lamborghini costing $200K? Wait till she finds out how much one really costs in Singapore....
lol, makes a video about the expensive things that rich kids buy in Singapore, but underprices the Lamborghini by 10 times.
SpicyHatred facts
at least 1 mill
A normal toyota already costs as much lolz
1 million dollar for a new special lamborghini maybe
I think the main problem is that many rich kids assume they are poor or dont see themselves as rich just because they lack certain thing.
Also, the true rich people are those who are both rich and humble to others :)
I became friends with a Singaporean kid online, his parents own a freakin plane, but he's so humble, he's kinda my best friend now hahahah
Wow! I am from Singapore! I never knew Singapore have such rich peoples!
wrong lah!
Bahahahah i don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or what but that’s funny
XD same I dont even know this rich people in sg
Go read some papers and stop living in a bubble
Lazaro Tay lol u never know ur friend could be rich.... i know ive got one

The narrator lowkey jelly 😂
Interesting video
*mentions a rich kid's name*
Me: Who?
Sky yep
The reason why all these houses are so expensive are becuz sg has very little land and yes I'm a poor kid in Singapore XD
Veteran Pyro
Veteran Pyro same!!
Thats so true if you own a land in singapore its like tons of dollars
Respect to you
In Singapore , some people think that if you live in “bigger” houses .
BLINKSARMYJISOOSWATERBOTTLE Can relate, nice name btw
Also think about this way: they are just earning undeserved money from their hardworking parents,
Finding it hard to afford the $2 chicken rice from anas cafe xd
Bearholdshark .....check the bin!
there are restaurants much more expensive than Hilton hotel, reaching easily $1,000 such as 1-Stellar. Plus you really don't have to be filthy rich to frequent ion orchard.
Just your regular Singaporean who doesn't even now these people exist...
ME DK.

So sad to know 2/3 of the world are starving and sick, and where $100.00 can make a difference in saving their lives ... for their entire lifetime!
You forgot many other people, like Dr Micheal Lim. He’s has many beautiful children and owns a absolutely stunning French Mansion. It even has its own Art Gallery in it, he has a big businesses and is mega rich!
but like 90% of singapores citizens are like hella broke
by "hella broke" you mean not being able to afford designer items on a regular basis or can't afford to pay for food and housing
Rinne Desu i cant afford to buy lunch today. My dad left my family and my mom is working as a cleaner. I have a little brother to look after so i cant work. Yes.. I exist... And so does other poor people.
Rinne Desu broke as in most of us dont really use designer items and rely on government aided finance
broke because most of the money goes to pay taxes...even when eating at the resto you still need to pay tax to the govt...ironic isnt it..
but that’s the point of this video what.
So you’re saying ur rich?
I've never clicked so fast even though I'm late. #singapore
Doesnt buy ALL happiness, let me clarify that for the other person who said money doesnt buy happiness
Money does not buy true happiness
@@111lio4 it buys
And here I am, eating $2 chicken rice from the nearby hawker and shopping stuffs from valudollar. 😂
I’m from Singapore and I’ve never heard of them. But I’m glad I learned something new! :)
something useless

In the mean time, I'm saving up for a new laptop...
Just invest in cryptocurrency u won't regret it
How to be rich: buy cheap food at the hawker Center and buy everything from dasio
love ur pfp
I live in Singapore ( I am not singaporean) and isn’t everything in Singapore really expensive
Annalise Christensen if you are able to move to sg youre rich
exactly
Where do you lived ? Ever checked how much it cost your parents to buy it ?
Nasi padang in the side of sultan mosque, just 4 dollars sgd. All expensive. But i love their public transportation
But for singaporean still easy right? I hear they have minimum salary 4000 sgd each month, so buying food 5 or 6 sgd is easy with soya bean 1 sgd.
This is actually such an accurate representation of some of the people I knew 😂
If I was them I would save my money and use it for a rainy day because all that money not going to last forever them forever
the rich knows their finances well lel money is meant to be spent and no point saving it cos their cash flow in is more than out.
Life will be so good~~ haihhzz, maybe one day 😅
Wani Ismail well said madame
can't pick i love everything anime Some of the wealthy second generations end up spending through all that money, no idea how but if they don’t take care of finances money can run out pretty quickly with their kind of lifestyle. Sadly some probably won’t ever learn since their parents will probably just pull them out of the water and they’ll continue.
Seeing them flaunting their wealthness, its exactly like how those aunties at wetmarket flaunting their wet meat
from a middle class worker. if they are so rich why do they still need to take a bath, poop and pick their nose? i can also do that. so i think we are all equals. all are decaying bags of flesh living on borrowed time.
Sojourner ofcursedearth ! If they were really that rich, they should hire someone to poop for them...pick their noses for them, per for them...etc. I totally agree with you.
Idk why but the last thing u said was actually a good quote
Halfnow Halflater ....someone to poop for me,pick my nose? Ugh,that’s an idea! Thanks.
Yeah but they're designer decaying bags
Lol
Singapore is full of rich kids with supercars etc. Ferraris and Singapore are common now
Wei Bing Tan Not really, I've only seen a Ferrari thrice in person and I'm a Singaporean
Wei Bing Tan uncle u bodoh sial i live in toa payoh i only see porshe before at vivo lah
Porsches are really common in SG, I saw alot of them on the roads. And I saw Ferraris and Lambos around orchard road vicinity quite often too.
LN W orchard r like for rich people so it kinda common
Supercars etc. Ferraris cost more than 1MILLION in Singapore sooo... you might want to retract that statement
THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING A SINGAPORE VID. LIKE THIS IF YOU ARE A SINGAPOREAN.
Nope they take our money
ERP
Youre an ignorant fool
70% voted for this. One party rule is utter idiocy.
7:23 the thing is, that Lambo would cost 200K brand new in the US, but in singapore it would cost around a million dollars. You want a Toyota Prius.? That would cost 100k not including the 30k COE certificate....
Armaan Dhami .....I’ll take it!
Is it just me or do I feel even more broke than ever ? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
No shit, Sherlock. I only have $10 buying $2 chicken rice everyday lmao.
Justin Wong still got $2 chicken rice meh? Where? Can intro?
Ye. All I know is at Sembawang MRT off to the side there is this shop, smth like Khun Thai. Then there's the same for Yew Tee and Choa Chu Kang MRT too
Justin Wong awesome! Will try when I am at that area!
Yes shit, Watson. who do you think supply those groceries and ingredients eh?
Totally TRUE 😊
Would you share your wealth?
@@lphybridsoldier5 Capitalism is why the country is prosperous. They are the most capitalist country on EARTH.
They earned it though! wtf..... people needs to change this kind of mindset stop blaming people for being filthy rich coz they earned it instead of ranting it all out on them why won't you build your own empire and start helping those people you say? ugh so done with this shit
I’m also a singaporean and I go to orchard to buy manga all the time!
The funniest thing about this is that I'm family friends with Dhillon, their family is wealthy but not insane wealthy, these guys are blowing it out of proportion and Dhillon himself never really wanted that attention haha
Rich people don't buy cars in cash or a house in cash. Why use the money you have there's banks for it. The rich are smarter than you think.
Im a,singaporean and SG is so expensive
kathryn ikr
Meanwhile I always eat $2 Chicken rice and never leave the country.
lol awesome comment
Roy Maboi ....better still, eat half n tapao the other half for tomorrow !
How can u as a singaporean who earned at least $1000/month cannot go anywhere ? Im indonesian and i only earn around $450 still can go to overseas for holiday
Btw where did you buy chiken rice. For. Just 2 sgd...... I never know it
Yoyo Gresik .....you can even get it for free.Go thru the bin!
These top 0.1% get to enjoy everyday and benefit from low taxes while everyday Singaporeans feel the squeeze... and still the government ignores their plight because they are rolling in cash too
Never heard of them in my life... and I'm a Singaporean 😂 only know from news and talks with friends about people like Angela Lee 😍
Being a human being it good to be humble and healthy
Well... I’m a singaporean
This is why the world is stupid because they think they are so rich they don't have to learn anything
Random Things Of Life half of these kids started their own businesses and their parents came up from nothing or worked hard at their own businesses. They’re all extremely educated. Don’t be so ignorant.
Random Things Of Life my parents worked hard and they get lots of money
I live in a mansion with my parents even though thry buy me whatever I want... I'm not like other kids.... I only get a dog
And other stuff like my own room... but I also home schooled... it like study for a few hours
I'm not sure about other countries, but many of the kids with the best results and most students from very good schools in Singapore come from rich families. Sure, you can probably argue that that's because they have the resources but you can't deny how hard they work.
Yue Yuzuki not to mention how they push their kids to study after hours of studying
Yeah, I have friends who their parents still pushes at a daily baisis even though they're already in University.
Some people are so poor that all they have is money.
I want to be that kind of poor I want to be so poor that all I have nw is money. Better than now I have nothing no gf no money even worse
I am from Pakistan and I have visited beautiful Singapore once. It was my best experience of life.
6:22 "Are you confused?" YES I AM!
What does the automobile with RUSSIAN number have to do with RICH SINGAPORIANS? Can you pls select video pieces for your vids more meticulously?
