I believe its a little of both. Hopefully if its gouging, it'll set there unsold and get all warped, twisted, and sun bleached to where they'll have to eat the cost of letting it go to waste. I absolutely refuse to pay their ridiculous prices. Like most people, I can't afford it. Eventually, it will have to come down. Lets all wait em out.
I agree 100% ! I dont know that it has ever been this severe as for the increase, as far as I can tell it has only been a year for such a great increase. Either way it probably wont have the affect they hope for. For housing and how it affects values that is the devastating side that I dont think we will see until another year passes. Lots of stopped new construction but also lots of short sales due to non finished new starts. It is bad all the way around!
Good point. Research on the top five in the list reveal profits for some in the half billion dollar range for the last qtr and first qtr of this year. Staggering as to how this can go on knowing how it affects construction along with general residential sales. But like always, we will never know will we?
@@CornucopiaFarmstead I just watched Tony's tractor adventure, video on it, there's only like half a dozen big corporate commercial Mills in the country so I'm guessing it's all going to shareholders and fat cats
@@horseblinderson4747 I'm sure it is along with the actual loggers not having an increase or profit sharing. Someone had a video that interviewed many logging operations, all of which explaining the lack of reinvestment or improvements withing the operations. Truly sad from my side. I can say that our businesses will never have greed or lack of support within our workforce or even clients and customers. To each their own I suppose.
Absolutely! Say what they will, not everyone needs to purchase a 2*4, ammo, is more of a touchy subject for sure when it comes to necessity or just rebuilding for the sake of!
