Welcome back to Lightning Springs Ranch. Today we have cows out, so we are heading up the mountain to round them up and put them back where they belong. While we are at it we are going to be riding a colt to train him up a bit. Its always an adventure when you are working with young horses.

I miss being able to ride and get out . The one thing you can’t do with your videos is the sweet smell of a rain or the leather.

There is nothing that replaces it . I also remember the hour or two before a thunderstorm rolls through. Prickly skin 6th sense type felling of lightnin’ …lots of memories. Have a blessed week

I agree that the cow caught that colt by surprise. If that colt was going to act up, it would have been when you started out. I was glad to see that the colt's fit was short lived. Great video.

I wonder if you have a breeding program for your horses, or do you purchase young ones. I think a video on your horses would be very interesting

We don’t have a breeding program but I would like to start one! We just buy young ones. I have a new filly I’m about to start and I was thinking about doing a video series about it.

Would you consider a Blue Snowball or similar mic for voiceovers?

I have never heard of those but i am looking into getting a new mic for the voice overs!
