- Everyone has been requesting that I try the @ilmakiage foundation and share my thoughts on my overall experience with their survey and product. I did just that! I took the survey, was matched and have been using the foundation for a few weeks and here are my thoughts. I know you want to know if its worth your money.

I bought it about 2 month's ago and it was a great match until it oxidized🤦♀️ it makes me look super dark and my neck is lighter. But overall the formula does go on smoothly. I'm thinking of getting one shade lighter. Now the concealer is AMAZING!!! Spot on with the color match for that!

Yari, you look beautiful!! I have to tell you, I forgot that I ordered Il Makiage about a year ago. I never opened the box...lol. I just did and I have the foundation, a brush, mascara and eyeliner. The shade matches me perfectly!! Thank you for reminding me what I forgot. Love you xoxo

Yari, it looks Amazing! I just bought the foundation (took quiz, and matched to #35) I also got the concealer (but, I cannot open the darn thing! I pulled, unscrewed, tried to see if there was a plastic cover over it....not!) I wrote to customer service and they apologized and told me not to return, that they will replace. I hope I receive soon. But, by buying the foundation and concealer, they sent the foundation for brush for free. I tried on my hand, "perfect" im throwing away my go to BECCA, and sticking with Il Makiage! I'm 67yrs old, in March. I don't do the whole make-up thing anymore, just primer, foundation, contour, cream blush, my lips are small, so, I don't care, but, I overline, then fill in a bit, then my Mac Honeylove. I have a few favorite Mac lipsticks. Sometimes I use a plumper, and sometimes I use a gloss. Just depends on how im feeling, that day. Yari, you look Beautiful, in every vlog! Btw, if anyone knows how to open the concealer, please, inform me. Maybe, im doing something wrong.

I've been dying to try this! I'm a Latina as well and I didn't trust the color match and ended up not ordering it. I'm definitely going to now! Anyway, girl,if they don't get you to be in their next campaign, they would be missing out!

I just got it, this past week, I had a “orange” look. I also used their brush. I usually use, like for half my life and I’m old, a real sponge. (Not a makeup sponge). I wanna try it again with the sponge, however, I don’t think that will take the orange look out. I’m kinda disappointed as I had high hopes, and I know I can return. I currently use 3 different foundations combined to get the color, the coverage and the oil control that I prefer. However, I really wanted to love this and also, I was greasy looking throughout the day, which I do not get with my current regimen. So, I guess I will return. By the way it looks amazing on you, you have a beautiful face ! Thank you for the video!
I love this foundation!!! It matched me perfectly and it’s soo light weight on my skin like when the wind blows I can feel it in my pores if that makes sense I wear it to work every day and it lasts all day!
But do you know is it supposed to be sweatproof?

Yes, I just reviewed this on my channel shade 220 for darker skin. I tried it for 4 days last week then revealed it on Friday with no foundation for comparison. Thanks.

My skin is combo 52yr old. I am fair skin ... red all the time. I have to say this was a spot on color match for me. Hides my dark spots, acne marks and it is super comfortable. My advice be honest as possible in your answers. Your match maybe different than what YOU think it is.
Hi! I am 50yrs old and have combo/dry skin and am also red all the time. I just took the quiz and they matched me with the “woke up like this” in shade 20. It looks dark to me but I’m trusting them and I ordered it. I’m curious as to what shade they matched you to? And how do you like the foundation?
@@aleigha9141 I actually love it. I am fair so mine was pretty light. Concealer is 2.5. I am #35. Make sure you email them if it's not right they will replace or refund in the 1st 2 weeks. It truly is amazing. I use to use Don't shoot mee too face foundation. They were always a perfect match for me. GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY!

@@aleigha9141 my pleasure. The consealer is nice as well. I have super dry under eyes. Just super hydrate as much as you can. I actually love the Tart hydro consealer for those hard sleepless nights over this one. Just not a full coverage consealer.
I ordered it about 6 months ago. If I don’t use a primer it looks awful on me but I do t wear a lot of makeup. I’m trying to make time for makeup but it’s just hard. I’ve only used it twice. Again it looked much better with primer. Now you look amazing as always!! 💜 also my shade was a tad light but I think it was my fault because I went lighter with one the the questions because I was afraid they were going to match me to dark. Trust the test, I truly believe my shade would had been spot on otherwise

i didn't like the makeup formula, I think it's over advertised. I didn't find the concealer to have good coverage either. They sent me a free brush foundation but it left streaks. Not worth my money. I can find a drug store foundation cheaper than too with better coverage. Sorry not my favorite. No hating just telling the truth. I found a NEW foundation PRADA, better than I have ever found and I don't need a concealer.
I, too, did not find this to be any different than other products. Seemed very dry on my skin & DOES SETTLE IN FINE LINES😢. Color match was right, but certainly doesn’t look like the thousands of reviews I’ve seen. Those faces were transformed…mine was blah 😒
I also purchased the foundation and the concealer. I also received the brush as a gift but I feel that it does not work for me. It left streaks from using the brush. It looked flaky. The concealer didn’t really cover up like I thought it would. I’m very disappointed. I was really hoping it would work for me. I guess I will go back to using Mary Kay.
I also tried this foundation due to the endless amount of ads and all the so called hype! I didn’t care for it but it wasn’t that bad! I am still loving my Nars light reflective foundation & Chanel #1. But the foundation looks really good on you I have to say!
My shade is a light medium with neutral tones. Would love to try this foundation.
Their quiz matched me perfectly. This foundation is not the cheapest, but it really is very nice and high quality, and because I don’t use foundation daily, is totally worth it, IMO. I have other name brand foundations in my collection, but I keep reaching for my ILMakiage again and again. A+
And… their “F***, I’m flawless” concealer is my absolute #1. Highly recommend that one too!

I’ve been wanting to try that foundation it’s just really expensive and of course I’m gonna wanna try their concealer as well! And possibly their primer! Maybe I’ll splurge for Christmas!
Hey Yari, Girl I to love the item beauty concealer. I never tried that foundation but it looks beautiful on your face but your already so beautiful. I have been wanting to try this especially since you get to try it for free and it matched me already and it matched me to the color I matched myself so I'm pretty confident that they do a good job with the matching because everybody just comes out saying that it matched them perfectly

Got mine today and it was right on. I could go a shade darker but omg... it gave coverage buuuuut wasn't cakey...was natural.
I also did a yt review and found I got a great match. The formula has great coverage. I have so many foundations on the go but would totally purchase again and recommend
You are beautiful and the foundation just enhances that 😊 they got your shade spot on. Most others that I’ve seen review this really like it as well. I’ve been scared to get it bc of the price and I’m so fair I’m afraid they don’t have a shade light enough. I know I can send it back tho if I need to. I just might check it out. Thanks! Edit: I went and took the IL Makiage quiz and ordered the foundation it recommended. I’m very fair with pink/cool undertones. I feel like the color looks dark but I’m trusting it’s the right shade. Wish me luck! Fingers crossed 🤞

Why would u use the more full coverage matte one in the winter? Don't most people get more dry in the winter? Genuine question! Would really like to know your take on it!
I took the test on this foundation 5 different times over the last few years and every time I took it gave me a foundation with a yellow tint to it and don’t remember the color number but I did the foundation, concealer and powder and it didn’t stay on like it said it would.
Can you use the brush that it came with to apply it? Thanks for sharing. Is this product returnable if it doesn’t match?
I promise as soon as your video started I was about to turn it off. Because I thought it was Jennifer Lopez! I’m not a fan, but more that anything I do not like to watch ANY celebrity videos sharing their views and opinions on products (mostly the make up vids). But I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t her, so I continued to watch! You not only look, but also sound like her-a much better looking, and definitely don’t seem like a huge snob! Haha!

Now my question is what was the cost on that? You probably have but have you ever tried the Estee Lauder Double Wear stay in place makeup? It had been a couple of years since I've tried it and I just started wearing it again I forgot how awesome it was doesn't come off on your clothes sweat resistant really nice and I like full coverage but it looks so smooth 👍😁

Hey girl, thank you for filming this. I was so curious about this foundation that i actually took the match quiz but i didn't purchase it. I kinda wish i would have. I thought what they matched me with was i little too dark too but i guess i should have trusted their knowledge cuz they were spot on with you. I feel like that's what they are most known for is their shade matching abilities. I know Kathleen lights swears by thier concealer but that could also be from her recent collab with them. I might finally get myself the foundation tho. It really looks so pretty on you. You always look so pretty tho. Love you lots xoxo

Does it seem to work with most primers? Are there any primers it doesn't work good with?

Im so confused. Is foundation different than concealer? Do I need a primer, than foundation and follow up with concealer? With a eye primer?

That foundation oxidized so bad it was so bad, on me with normal to dry skin. It’s the first foundation I have ever sent back.
I have tried it. I really like it but I can’t afford to keep buying it.
I tried this about two years ago and it wasn’t worth the money for me. The shade didn’t match as it oxidized and didn’t last throughout the day.
I love this I think it looks great on you I might take a dive in on it but unfortunately I'm going to have to save up money to do it so maybe if I try it and do the 14-day trial and then be able to save up money for that time being and then put it on my card cuz I don't actually have like an actual bank card unfortunately so yeah LOL
Do you have to set this foundation with loose powder or not?
I had normal combo skin and do not set the foundation. At first it feels slightly tacky but then it sets without tackiness. For my skin, I avoid powder unless it's under my eyes.
I am 54 yo red head with fair light Skin that is combo. I tried this foundation and it totally oxidized on me. I am still searching for my holy grail until then I will stick with Born this way because I know I can make that work.
I am a 43-year-old brunette with very fair skin and this foundation does not oxidize on me. It is one of my go to foundations when I need something that has to hold up for an extended length of time.
P.S I have spent 300 + on Temu since I started watching you and Hopescope lol

They wanted Glamzilla to review it for them but offered her a price she said that’s just not worth it! Specially with the price of how much the foundation is! Idk 🤷♀️ how much they offered her not do I know how much others get for reviewing it! I took the test but never purchased it. I am really bad at exchanging things or taking stuff back. So that’s why I just never devoted on getting it. Because just Incase if it wasn’t my shade. I wouldn’t know who I could give it to! I would be stuck with something that I couldn’t use! Just Saying!

It's goid foundation but not worth the price. Sheglam foundation is much better and less expensive
