@@keaghanwhisenhunt7809 Everyone started from somewhere. As you practice and experiment, and see how others also decal, you will get better. Most important thing is to have fun! Make a cosplay as a start. And then improve on it bit by bit.
Most important thing is to start from somewhere so you can take it as a reference to improve upon. Start simple, add details as you go. Increase the complexity each time.
@@ilkaysar2522Problem is that that it's just so tedious to have to manually do all the decal work. There's no way to easily mirror decals on parts, everything has to be done by hand.
It's just so time consuming for me, and I'm also on a Steam Deck.

Really like the style of decal work on it. I’ve seen a lot of other people slap on warning signs and decal paneling and have it look simply busy. But you really pull it off.
That KDD54 is so clean. Love the nostalgia for the pursuer too that's a boss that stays with you. Not... Well, I guess because that's his thing, yeah. But still! lol.
Every time I see AC's like this I wish I could/knew someone on PS5 who could decal my AC and make it look that good. I've come up with some cool stuff (the wing decal looks really cool if you put a slightly bigger one underneath it as another color, I had it as white on yellow over a matte black part of my AC and it makes the wings have a slight glow to them, very cool on the shoulders of nacht arms), but I lack the patience to really make something truly special.
Something I just learned, is that you don't need a lot of hyper-specificly shaped decals to fit onto your AC, sometimes you just need one really good but simple decal. I wanted to really drip-out my Coral build AC that I finally got functioning decently (all the coral weapons are ridiculously situational most of the time, so putting too many together leaves gaps in situation coverage) so I decal-ed just a basic red gradient onto specific parts on my AC's dark frame. It looked really nice, but I wanted more, so I actually went and designed a sort of red star/Ayre looking decal with a few layers of different gradient-colors. When I slapped one onto a dark section of my AC, all I could think was "YESSSS!!!!" so I then just slapped a whole bunch of those onto different parts of my AC in different sizes and configurations, even maxing out the number of decals I can put onto my legs, and I am VERY satisfied with the end result.

This is such a wholesome and talented community, I really want to get better at this game now more than ever ;-;
really love the light decals, could make an accurate leos klein cosplay with that visor
I did just that. It’s a pretty fun build. Super hard to fit the weapons onto the frame that’s best for the recreation though.
I have a similar build as Max, just change the leg to Melander and the left shoulder to a long shield. This build was inspired by a weapon known as Gunlance at Monster Hunter World, I got my shield for parry, and a lance for punishment, also Zimmerman and Earshot represent different kinds of ammo. Because when the game had just been released, there was no ranking system, and my friends loved using melee focus build or Viento build, so playing this Gunlance build was kind of a counterplay.
Blows my ACs outta the water. Although I do have one that is really photogenic. The paint job is meh but the camera loves em.
I think pursuer has got to be my fave. Although all of them have such intricate detail works it's insane.
My ac Ranibow Sprimkle was directly influenced by LANIDAE-echo. Love to see CQC Lamm getting the love it deserves!
