It's got to be one of the best feelings in the world when you play the idol, and then you see all those votes for you, and you get to smirk at every single one of them while giving the finger in your mind
Well, she didn't really crush him. Russel dominated the whole game and he played everyone as his pawns. He also chose the best possible strategy to pick a very weak player to go with him to the finals. The only reason why he lost was because the jury looked at Russel as a dirty, immoral person, who used everyone, hence voting Natalie for a winner. But Natalie didn't win because she was a good player, she wasn't cunning, she didn't strategise, she did literally nothing at all. And the victory was only handed to her, because the jury didn't appreciate the mastermind, that Russel was.
The jury has no obligation to cater to Russell with their vote just because he has delusions of grandeur. Russell may have pulled strings but that's not the object of the game. Some cunning string pullers have succeeded at the key to winning: jury management. It's so cute when Hantz nation claims Natalie didn't strategize. You don't need to be flashy or cunning to have a strategy. The card Natalie was dealt was that she had an abrasive egomaniac bully on her tribe and to not dare fuck with him. Don't pretend you don't remember her confessional where she says she knows a lot of people are rubbed the wrong way by Russell and that she wants him to think he can beat her. And she stroked his ego (unlike Liz, Betsy, and Marisa) until the formation of the jury was complete on day 39. It may not have been entertaining to you but it sure as fuck counts as a strategy whether you can accept that or not. And if her win was "literally handed to her", why wasn't it more of a toss-up between her and Mick by default? If Russell was the genius his minions claim he is, he would have taken actual goats like the racist Ben or the whiny Shambo to the end with him.
Russell single handily changed how the game of survivor is played. Before Russell, nobody EVER tried to split the votes to flush and idol. Now it's what everyone does because of the way Russell was able to manipulate them. Hands down arguably the greatest strategic player ever.
Kyle berryhill What do you mean? Coach and Tyson split the votes on Brendan and Sierra the season before in Tocantins just in case Brendan would play his idol. That was the first time that happened
I will never forget the moment when Russell stood up and said... "I ain't finished playing just yet."(3:20) Gave me chills when he stood up with the idol. He is hands down the greatest player in Survivor history. The only reason he didn't win is because of butthurt jury members not liking his style of play. If Survivor for any reason was a game where America had to vote in to select a winner, Russell would have won hands down, just like he won the Sprint Play.
But like Jeff said, that's not "Survivor", that's "Russell's Game". Russell Hantz is one of my favorite Survivor contestants, but his Jury management skills suck. Do I think Natalie "deserved" the title of Sole Survivor? No, but that's just how the game is played. There's a lot of "if this and if that" between the fans and viewers, but that's the beauty of Survivor. Anyone can win and there is no set strategy in the game.
"If Survivor for any reason was a game where America had to vote in to select a winner, Russell would have won hands down, just like he won the Sprint Play." by that logic, James Clement, the guy who was blindsided whilst in possession of two idols, is also the greatest player in survivor history.
***** Exactly! There is so much Russell love that his fans are too ignorant to understand that this is how Survivor is played. The winner is the person who "deserves" to win. By deserves, I mean the actual winner. In survivor, the word "deserve" has two meanings. 1) Deserve as in the person who has made the most game changing moves in the game or 2) Deserve as in the person who has played the best social game. No one cares about physical aspects anymore.
I think the reason Russell's fans are so passionate is because when you think of the term "Survivor", Russell out matches everyone. There's no doubt that he would survive on an island. The whole "social game" is kind of a joke in my opinion. Who can gossip more about the other gossipers? That shouldn't be awarded with $1 million and the title Sole Survivor...
Jack Carlos I agree that I would've voted for Russell to win the first time, but Russell also gossiped about Danielle and Parvati in HvV, gossiped about being on the outs of an all female alliance, etc.
Even if Russell was a "villain," the guy played the best game of Survivor ever. I loved the guy, very entertaining. Even being the best player, he back-stabbed a lot of people and didn't win because of that. The jury was very set on making sure he didn't win.
I hated that about the show and any other show similar to this. The jury is always so immature and can’t look at actual skill, they’re always upset because someone outplayed them.
The funniest thing about Samoa was his tribe was the "underdogs" going into the merge ircc there was like 8 vs 4. Russell's plays is what got 3/4 of his original tribe to the final. He was a dick and sneaky but at the time thought he was the hero lmao
RyanSmashby it's not that he didn't learn that... it's that he had to play aggressive to just make it to the final had he not played like that he would've gone right away... I mean think of it there was only 4 left and the nine wanted them (tribe) to leave they got to arrogant and cause they failed at taking down 4 tribe members they couldn't get angry at themselves and realize he's a genius in strategizing they where angry and he was the reason why they lost there chance at 1 million had they had admitted he played a better game he would've won
I like how Erik pulls a victory fist when the votes for Russell weren't counted but at The Final Tribal Council, his Jury speech blasts Russell more than anyone else's did.
+Flaminstarwarsguy851 It's understandable. By watching Samoa I think that, even tough he's not a very good player, he was the only one smart enough to realize Russell was the biggest threat, even outnumbered. He was pissed with his dumb alliance. He wasn't happy for Russell, he was happy to see the dumb alliance pay for voting him out.
You might not say Russell's the best player ever but you can't deny that he is pretty damn good at strategy and manipulation. I mean taking an alliance of four into the merge and taking down all but one member of the rival alliance of eight before having to sacrifice one of your own is an amazing feat which was accomplished thanks to Russell's genius. Sure his social game isn't that great but he has a damn good strategic game. I don't care what anyone says. To me, Russell is the best strategic player in Survivor (at least that I've seen) and he really changed the way the game was played.
+Flaminstarwarsguy851 Unfortunately you usually don't win Survivor by being ruthless and getting rid of the other players by whatever means necessary. Russell's social game was terrible, but I enjoyed watching his gameplay, it was very entertaining.
Yeah he's damn good at strategy and manipulation, all right. Manipulated the jury into hating his guts and pointing their pitchforks and arrows right at him.
This show seems like a mess because they let the players vote on who wins. I don't want to see someone dominate the whole show and then get cut because everyone is butthurt they lost.
+robotpanda77 I personally wish that they had a bit of time between Day 39 and the final vote so that The Jury can analyze everyone's gameplay before making their decision. I'll bet that many Jurors would probably have changed their votes (not just this season but any season) but now it's too late.
+robotpanda77 Tough shit, this is how it works. "Why Is Natalie White So Hated?" "The Fall of Russell Hantz," both parts, on the Funny 115 "Danger Dave Ball MMA," Reddit. "Offending Many Who Do Not Understand Survivor."
The finale lacks consistency, if you're going to have people that have been voted out keep on voting later on, let them continue voting until the very end, at least then, actions will have gradually growing consequences
Russell does not count Russell: 😁 Russell does not count Russell: 😁 Russell does not count Russell: 😁 Russell does not count Russell: 😁 Russell does not count Russell: 😁 Russell does not count Russell: 😁 Russell does not count Russell: 😁 Kelly Russell: 😂
Seems like a massive flaw in the show that the losers become members of the jury. Bound to be bitter against the person who completely out played them.
crzy1gs I think that's the biggest part of the game. the social is more important than challenges. how do you forge alliances? how do you choose who to vote off and who to keep around. how long do you keep somone around if other people voted, or it were an audience vote like russell wanted it to be, the social game would be severely diminished.
I see what you're saying - but can you not see the other point of view? Being the 'best' at this kind of game inevitable means that you've 'played' the most people. Those people who got played, lost, are inevitably going to be bitter and when it comes to final and will vote for the 'weaker' player who actually wasn't so good at the game. Not because they think he/she was a social master mind, but because they like him/her more. It's probably the least fair or accurate way of deciding a victor i can think of. What other real life situations (this is 'reality TV' right?) do all the people you've beaten along the road to a final come back and decide the winner? I can't think of any. But whatever, its a silly TV show that I admit I don't watch. Just happened upon this clip of Russell who I thought was remarkable for finding all those immunity relics! GO Russell! xD
If you played the people that means you voted them out and they still vote for you to get a million dollars. It's the social part of the game. Russell is a lot of fun, but he doesn't consider people's feelings into his strategies, to him it's like chess when in fact it's more like a job interview. He'll never win the game because he hurts people's feelings, tell them in the eye that they're stupid for letting him hurt his feelings and then expects them to vote for him. People are emotional creatures with egos, that's why people who trick their way to the top either carry disliked survivors with them or they somehow convince the jury that they weren't as dishonorable as they were. Russell has zero diplomatic skills, that's why everyone was butthurt that he outplayed them.
I think the biggest failure of Russell was not lying enough. First time he got to the final tribal council, the jury asked questions looking to see if Russell would redeem himself. All he had to do was say "I'm sorry guys, I apologize for the backstabbing, I know it's not the way to play but it was the only option I had left at times, and it got me this far." Throw a lil more classical Russell bullshittery in there and they fall for it, just like they did before. Instead he said he doesn't have regrets and that they can basically suck it. I think that his last speech cost him the title.
Russel might not look it from the start but he’s very smart and strategic. He knows also how to put on a good show for viewers at home, which is arguably the most important thing to be able to do on shows like these
They could have a whole season of Survivor with Russell alone on an island with a bunch of turtle and I would still watch the whole thing no question ask 😂😂 he is just so damn entertainning
i think thats his point... some would argue that the BEST player will be able to manipulate people WHILE maintaining enough of a report to still get them to vote for them. And i find it hard to argue with that point, even tho im a fan of Russell.
Well i understand your point. But thats like saying Kobe was the best player in the league even though he's not the most liked. Some of he people who one deserve it. But that girl who won over Russel did nothing.
I feel like Big Brother has a different mood for the jury. I've heard them say multiple times to not be a bitter jury member. Sadly for Russell that was never the case for him. Since in both Samao and HvV (IMO) the jury voted for the person that made less bold moves or no bold moves (Natalie White). Villains do win sometimes in Survivor, but man the juries for both of his seasons were dictated by the team Russell had a heavy hand in eliminating. So yeah, bitter.
It was so thrilling to watch his find and use idols one after another. This guy is definitely a SURVIVOR. Shameful the social aspect of the game played a big role and everyone hated him.
+anrick13 I worded that wrong. I meant everyone pisses someone off and the people who haven't made anyone mad are usually the people who haven't played the game like everyone else. They aren't good at challenges and have no social game. I can see how that's confusing now.
Russell should've won samoa. He managed to survive merge despite his tribe only having 4 players against 8. I dont understand why the jury was bitter towards him they know he didn't have a choice.
Thanks so much for putting this video together...all of Russell's greatest hits in one collection! LOL. Hated him in the beginning, LOVE him now. Best Survivor contestant, BY FAR!
He is my all time favorite Survivor contestant. He manipulated and outplayed everybody on 2 different seasons. And both seasons the jury voted for the girl. So stupid. The girls did nothing except be loyal to him, he did all the strategies, and found the idols. But then the jury would say things like "the girls played such a brilliant game because they didn't make a lot of enemies".
Russell definitely changed the game of Survivor and he was definitely one of my favorite players to ever play the game however he never won and theres good reason for that. Although it's so entertaining for the fans to see how he played Samoa and future seasons, winning the hearts of the fans isnt how you win, you gotta win the hearts of the jury and that is what he lacked. People can say he got robbed all you want but he lost plain and simple and the main reason was he was very smug, lacked empathy, and basically showed no compassion for those he voted off and on future seasons he didnt change his game. He played the same exact game and that's what caused him to lose those games as well. I mean look at Survivor winner Tony. In his second time playing he played the same game that won him his original season, and for it he got voted off right away. But he learned and when he played his 3rd game, in season 40 he revamped his strategy and played a totally new game and he won. So where Tony learned from his mistakes and played a totally new game, Russell continuously played the same exact game every time, with the strategy that everyone seemed to know about. So I'll always be a huge Russell fan but I'll be one of the few who day he never got robbed.
@@commentingperson9554 complete joke that Sandra won Heroes vs Villains. She was a ghost in that game compared to Russell. Horrendous at challenges and dictating the votes but just didn’t piss off the crybaby jury enough.
This was my favorite season by far. I was so upset when Russell didn't win. He took all of them out one by one, and there was nothing they could do. It sucks that the jury didn't pick him. They were probably just pissed that they had had the numbers and still couldn't beat Russell and the other three remaining people of his tribe. This was the season of blindsides, that's for sure.
I loved Samoa so much. The tribe of 4 were severe underdogs and it was soooo satisfying to watch those tribal councils after the merge. The other team like it or not, acted like bullies just cause they had more people. Their reactions were just priceless, especially Erik's as he cheered because his own team backstabbed him. I call that Karma.
He is the best player for me. He give impact in this game forever. Amazing to watch but believe me, you don't want to play with this guy. He make others look bad.
Russell is a hell of a player, really fun to watch, and the only reason he's not one of the best in this game's history is simple: the social portion of his strategy is so incredibly dumb. It works really well to get allies, but he manages to screw his hole game by pissing off his allies and rivals to the point most of them won't even consider voting for him. It's amazing to me how such a good strategist fails to see that. I agree the jury in both Samoa and HvV were bitter towards him, and that's why he didn't win, but most people will be bitter, even those who understand "it's just a game". The ones who understand that, and will actually vote for the best player in all other aspects are a tiny minority, at least when it comes to players with an aggressive style like Russell. You need to work the jury before they even get there in the first place. Otherwise you're fucked. No idea if he learned his lesson by watching Samoa and HvV, since his tribe on Redemption Island were scared shitless to have him around, to the point of throwing a challenge just to get rid of him. That's what separates Russell from the best and most dangerous players in this game's history (Parvati, Cirie, Tom Westman, Yul Kwon, Sandra Diaz, Rob Cesternino...). If not for the terrible endgame, he would be right up there as one of the best players to ever compete (if not the best).
Russell was the best in both of the seasons he was on and should have won both and i hope he gets 2 come back 4 a 3rd cuz he had the best strategic game out of anybody who has played this game and should most definitely be soul survivor
Considering that the title of the video have "immunity idols" in it, it is only fitting to include the time during Erik's vote tribal that he played an idol and negated zero votes.
Russell got me back to watching Survivor again.Who else could bring you to the finals down 8 to 3? He managed to flip this boring game around and saved the entire franchise. He's an evil genius. He dominated this entire game his way. Voting rules need to change. A million dollars voted by the viewers who actually matter the most and 500,000 voted on by the Jury.
I love you Russell. ... Well, not like that, but you're my favorite character of all time and I always get all hyper when I see the part when you vote out Kelly.
This man and Ben are probably the best and most determined survivor players ever. Russel should’ve won just for how well he played the game. Jury was too pissed off that he stepped on their fingers to get to the top.
@xramborinox Plus, the only reason Parvati got to the end despite her reputation in Micronesia was because Fairplay basically quit, and in HvV because Russell put his life on the line for her sake, and it payed off.
See no-one thinks about this in Survivor, But if you can identify someones handwriting and who they're voting for collectively. Then you can easily identify secret or unknown alliances
Natalie (not Mick) outsmarted the fuck out of him. I can't believe it's almost 2017 and people still don't understand that this is a social fucking game.
Natalie White deserve the title. She killed a rat damn it. And then ate that rat. She's a real survivor and a real badass behind her pretty face. She just sticked to her alliance to the very end - either win or lose she was loyal and the destiny rewarded her at the end.
At last... those girls who are medical sales representatives (or something like that) in survivor are often the toughest girls and I can't explain why lol Like Natalie White, Danielle DiLorenzo, Chelsea Meissner and many others I can't tell right now but if a season starts and you see a girl medical sales rep. - she's a big threat :P :D
Look, Natalie seems like an absolute sweetheart. The jury members are the people who should be ashamed. And don’t give me any of this baloney about the social game. Todd in China blindsided and betrayed and went to the final Tribal Council owning every single move he did. You know how that jury responded? They respected it and handed him a million dollars. Not this time. There is no WAY any of those players can honestly think Natalie played a better game than Russell. They can say they liked her better and would rather give her the million dollars. But no way can they say that she played a better game, no matter what crazy Erik says. And let me make something clear: You may have been rooting for Natalie because you liked her better (And that’s fine. I get that.) but if you are voting, and you take that job seriously, you have to put that aside and vote for the best player. Any way you slice it, Natalie was not the best player. Jeff Probst tried his best at the reunion to paint her as a worthy winner, starting off by prompting her to talk about her key move of helping get rid of Erik, and then going out of his way to jumpstart a conversation about how much better her social game was than Russell’s, but even he seemed half-hearted in his attempts. Probst knows a dud winner when he sees one. He won’t ever say it, but if you read between the lines, you can tell.
Russel did deserve to win Samoa after carrying his tribe post merge. He just made the massive mistake of bringing Natalie to the end. If he had brought Jaison and Mick to the end 100% Russel would have won.
@xramborinox The only friend she could possibly have on the Heroes tribe was Amanda, and she didn't trust Parvati anymore. There's no guarantee that keeping Tyson would've kept up the winning streak for the Heroes. Parvati didn't put her life on the line, because she wasn't being targeted at the merge. Russell, on the other hand, risked his life in the game by assuming (correctly) that Tyson switched his vote. Also, in Micronesia, Parvati DID get dumb luck: 3 quits and 2 medivacs.
@My96XJ If they gave that tool Colby his own show on cable "Top Shot". They should give Russell his own game show called "If you're stupid, you're gone. That would be awsome. haha
@mrbrdo He has a huge advantage on Heroes vs Villains because noone on that cast has seen him play, Seeing as his season was being aired while they were filming Heroes v Villians
If Russell played Survivor in this era, he would've won. Old era of Survivor are bitter juries that's why there are some winners who are not deserving to win. Nothing less, his a legend. align w/ boston rob, parvati, etc.
1. Every winner deserved their win. 2. What people have been learning from Russell is that he teaches people how NOT to carry yourself when playing survivor. That's not an excuse for his losses. 3. There's bitterness in every jury.
Jasper Valdosta If Russell played Survivor in this era, he would have been the very first one out of the tribe. Old era of Survivor didn't have any lifelines. Without a hidden immunity idol or a diplomatic butterfly, he's a sitting duck.
3:37 Keep Hope Alive...just like his tattoo...russell is the best player in survivor history...hopefully he comes back again and goes against what he said right before he left...the shows not good without you russell
The tribal council in which Kelly goes home contains so much awesomeness. Dave not giving a shit his alliance will lose a player and just being a general dude and marking out, Brett with NO EMOTIONS the entire time even when Kelly receives a vote, Jayson's face after Russell got a vote as if he's the man even tho he did nothing, Laura thinking Shambo is on her side and Shambo with the worst fake reaction ever
Without Natalie getting out Erik, Russell would never have pulled off this vote successfully because the Galu tribe would have split the votes 4-4 in order to avoid Russell's 800th immunity idol.
I loved this guy.He was amazing and he should have win (even in Heroes vs. Villains). Most people hated him,cuz he was good,he used them for his own goals.Problem is,you cannot win this game unless others like you which is,I think ridiculous in this game - you can win only if jury likes you - this is nothing about surviving, nothing about skills, abilities ... He wasnt winner but he was the best ... at least for me.
Not a huge fan of Russell’s personality. However, the evolution of survival is exemplified here. Russell was the epitome of a strategic Survivor powerhouse player with how he played! Tony, for example, showed his strategic mind, but was able to finesse the social aspect of the game at the same time and that’s how he won TWICE. However, I believe Russell was well before his time.
The thing is russell was just way ahead of his time if his first tume playing was now and assuming we had someone to initiate the change of play like he did. He would of won the season easily. Jurys get a whole lot less bitter and are a whole lot better seperating gameplay from personality now a days. Russell paved a way for people like tony
It's got to be one of the best feelings in the world when you play the idol, and then you see all those votes for you, and you get to smirk at every single one of them while giving the finger in your mind
Not as good as Natalie's David moment when she crushed the Giant Goliath that is the ol' Russhole. Natalie White= fucking goddess.
Well, she didn't really crush him. Russel dominated the whole game and he played everyone as his pawns. lol
The even-dumber long-haired blonde beat him. :)
_millgecko and the dumb dark hair one
The funny thing is, you're also blonde hair LOL
Absurd Uncensored MMA Talk Natalie was a queen
My favorite words from Russell " I ain't finish playing just yet "
The three time loser stays three time loser. Adios.
ElectrikkPaperClipxx mhm... I mean he already owned oil company so thats not big loss. And he changed how this game is played.
Nerijus he changed how the game is played alright- he was a blueprint of how NOT to play. Or rather to ensure you get second.
ElectrikkPaperClipxx still hating on Russel, my goodness you must love that man.
Steves Coffee I’m a she. And I don’t “love that man”, whatever you meant by that, but I am considering making a Sandra shrine in my home.

Kyle berryhill until it comes to the key to winning: jury management
You mean “Hantz” down
Don't listen to ElectrikkPaperClipxx, he/she is a die-hard Sandra fan and just finds Russell not likable and will not admit he's a good player
J Jespy I’m back bitches. And I brought my truth tea as always.
Kyle berryhill What do you mean? Coach and Tyson split the votes on Brendan and Sierra the season before in Tocantins just in case Brendan would play his idol. That was the first time that happened

I love how Russel is already a millionair he's just there to start shit
It shows his sincerity to the game
dude is a menace
He didn’t want the money he wanted the title of winner
Dave's face in every tribal was the greatest. Even though he wasn't on Russell's side, he knew he was truly witnessing some game changing stuff.
Even if Russell was a "villain," the guy played the best game of Survivor ever. I loved the guy, very entertaining. Even being the best player, he back-stabbed a lot of people and didn't win because of that. The jury was very set on making sure he didn't win.
He's easily one of the best players IN the game. But could never make enough allies to actually win the game.
If he takes Jaison and Shambo to the end he wins. He didn’t realize that Natalie had as good relations with Galu as she did.
Nooooooo not even close
I hated that about the show and any other show similar to this. The jury is always so immature and can’t look at actual skill, they’re always upset because someone outplayed them.

The ART of survivor is that you need to still have enough allies at the end to get the $$$. Russell never learned how to do that.
RyanSmashby it's not that he didn't learn that... it's that he had to play aggressive to just make it to the final had he not played like that he would've gone right away... RyanSmashby Exactly!
RyanSmashby the art of the game is to outplay ppl and he outplayed everyone he deserved to win
Russell should've won. Greatest player ever

Flaminstarwarsguy851 people getting voted out after him kept telling Erik how aggressive he was playing they all changed his mind
That was specifically due to influence from Monica
You might not say Russell's the best player ever but you can't deny that he is pretty damn good at strategy and manipulation. I mean taking an alliance of four into the merge and taking down all but one member of the rival alliance of eight before having to sacrifice one of your own is an amazing feat which was accomplished thanks to Russell's genius. Sure his social game isn't that great but he has a damn good strategic game. I don't care what anyone says. To me, Russell is the best strategic player in Survivor (at least that I've seen) and he really changed the way the game was played.
+Flaminstarwarsguy851 It is the best ever in strategy whatever they say
+Flaminstarwarsguy851 Unfortunately you usually don't win Survivor by being ruthless and getting rid of the other players by whatever means necessary. Russell's social game was terrible, but I enjoyed watching his gameplay, it was very entertaining.
Yeah he's damn good at strategy and manipulation, all right. Manipulated the jury into hating his guts and pointing their pitchforks and arrows right at him.
Yeah but to win survivor you need the votes at the end. By playing this way you're making sure you'll never get first place
Flaminstarwarsguy851 Exactly!
Russell is the reason i started to watch this show.
"Why Is Natalie White So Hated?"
"The Fall of Russell Hantz," both parts, on the Funny 115
"Danger Dave Ball MMA," Reddit.
"Offending Many Who Do Not Understand Survivor."
+Flaminstarwarsguy851 Change the channel, you're watching the wrong show.
+robotpanda77 well, that's the difference between players like Russell and players who actually know what it takes to win the game.
The finale lacks consistency, if you're going to have people that have been voted out keep on voting later on, let them continue voting until the very end, at least then, actions will have gradually growing consequences
Hmm, this badass has made want to watch Survivor.

Survivor goat.

It's what happens when you're the greatest ever.
@@commentingperson9554 russel the goat. Robbed in s19 and robbed in s20 as well. Desereved AT LEAST 2nd place based on the edit.
It's not always true... Parvati won her season
Russel might not look it from the start but he’s very smart and strategic. He knows also how to put on a good show for viewers at home, which is arguably the most important thing to be able to do on shows like these
I was surprised he out ran Dave.
Savior of Survivor right here people. This show would never have made it to today without him reviving the fan base.
Facts imagine showing natalie or sandra social game survivor would die thats why russ gets 90% of the tv time
They could have a whole season of Survivor with Russell alone on an island with a bunch of turtle and I would still watch the whole thing no question ask 😂😂 he is just so damn entertainning
Incorrect juries.
I went back to watch Survivor Samoa just to relive Russel's grand game debut. Man, what a good season.
Where can you watch
by far the best season of survivor, russel was awesome
Russel hantz is handsdown the best player in survivor ever
that's why he snatched up those jury votes and won, amirite? oh wait.
You do realize jury votes are from the contestants that he backed stabbed. Why would they vote for him after he got them all out?
i think thats his point... some would argue that the BEST player will be able to manipulate people WHILE maintaining enough of a report to still get them to vote for them.
And i find it hard to argue with that point, even tho im a fan of Russell.
Well i understand your point. But thats like saying Kobe was the best player in the league even though he's not the most liked. Some of he people who one deserve it. But that girl who won over Russel did nothing.
xxHbWarrior1xx basketball is not a social game. survivor is. but nice try.
BITTER JURORS SUCK !!! That way on Big Brother as well !!
It was so thrilling to watch his find and use idols one after another. This guy is definitely a SURVIVOR. Shameful the social aspect of the game played a big role and everyone hated him.
He is amazing at the game but horrible at social game, his plan was just to go to the end and trust the jury
Russell should have one both times he made it to the end but people are to bitter to realize who was the best player
then again, Russell should've known not to get them that bitter.
If you haven't pissed people off then they just brought you along because you have no chance of winning.
Savannah White how do you come to that conclusion?
+anrick13 I worded that wrong. I meant everyone pisses someone off and the people who haven't made anyone mad are usually the people who haven't played the game like everyone else. They aren't good at challenges and have no social game. I can see how that's confusing now.
Savannah White well, how do we know that person didn't play the game. For all we know, not pissing people off might've been their game.
“It is Day 1 now, and I’ve got an alliance with the dumb short-haired blonde, and the even dumber long-haired blonde.” LOL
Russell you will always be a winner in my eyes u dominated the whole game and your the reason why I live Survivor and why I want to be in survivor
i love Russell. My favorite survivor player by faaaaarrrrrr
"I aint finished playin just yet" The best quote in Survivor history
Best strategic player of all time sad that he got robbed but hes the real winner in my eyes
This man controlled the entire game straight from the beginning
Russell should've won samoa. He managed to survive merge despite his tribe only having 4 players against 8. I dont understand why the jury was bitter towards him they know he didn't have a choice.
Read The Fall of Russell Hantz part 1 to find out why.
“He didn’t have a choice” here’s a napkin, you have a bit of bullshit on your lips
AllRequired dude the fall of Russel hantz is not useful in any way, it’s basically just tons of pictures of why he is mean.
It was the juries fault. They voted incorrectly
@@commentingperson9554 why did they vote incorrectly? Because the didn't vote for the person you wanted to win?
Thanks so much for putting this video together...all of Russell's greatest hits in one collection! LOL. Hated him in the beginning, LOVE him now. Best Survivor contestant, BY FAR!
Iconic.
Man the producers hit a home run with Russell
He is my all time favorite Survivor contestant. He manipulated and outplayed everybody on 2 different seasons. And both seasons the jury voted for the girl. So stupid. The girls did nothing except be loyal to him, he did all the strategies, and found the idols. But then the jury would say things like "the girls played such a brilliant game because they didn't make a lot of enemies".
Sandra and Russel were not even close to a alliance
@@theeverythingchannel7810 But Russell was in the minds of everyone else, and that's why Russell won his war with Sandra.
@@commentingperson9554 russel won his war with Sandra? Sandra won the game
He should have won both seasons he played
Jack Hall but he didn’t because he has no jury management
Jack Hall Yes, he very well should've won Samoa and Heroes vs. Villains
If he had won even just Samoa there would be little contention about him being a top 3 player of all time
I loved Samoa so much.
He is the most enjoyable person to watch play this game, the way he thinks is just brilliant!
Wow this is a great vid showing all of the moments that made Russ a legend
He is the best player for me. He give impact in this game forever. Amazing to watch but believe me, you don't want to play with this guy. He make others look bad.
Russell has a UA-cam channel called " Russell Hantz " and it's pretty interesting seeing react to old moments
LEGENDA
He is the reason the term “ if anybody has a hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so” was created.
No, it actually already existed in previous seasons
4:17 Jaison and Natalie realized something hilarious are going to happen right now
Russell was the best in both of the seasons he was on and should have won both and i hope he gets 2 come back 4 a 3rd cuz he had the best strategic game out of anybody who has played this game and should most definitely be soul survivor
Russell did make the road to players like Tony
Considering that the title of the video have "immunity idols" in it, it is only fitting to include the time during Erik's vote tribal that he played an idol and negated zero votes.
He was my most favorite player of Survivor
Russell got me back to watching Survivor again.Who else could bring you to the finals down 8 to 3? He managed to flip this boring game around and saved the entire franchise. He's an evil genius. He dominated this entire game his way. Voting rules need to change. A million dollars voted by the viewers who actually matter the most and 500,000 voted on by the Jury.
I love Russell!
Russell is the man. Thanks for posting this. :D
I love you Russell.
...
Well, not like that, but you're my favorite character of all time and I always get all hyper when I see the part when you vote out Kelly.
We all love Russel❤
Shambo and John were the only two members of the jury wich were smart
Seven is greater than two. Smart jurors vote natalie; dumb jurors vote russell.
WHAT! He did find those idols without clues? Thats awesome xD
Quite simply the greatest.
Russel was definitely out of everyone's league here. Also, totally forgot how handsome John was.
I was rooting for him the whole time. Bitter juries can be a real let-down man.
I wanted him to win to
This man and Ben are probably the best and most determined survivor players ever. Russel should’ve won just for how well he played the game. Jury was too pissed off that he stepped on their fingers to get to the top.
"Stepped on their fingers to get to the top." That's the ultimate losing game.
I'm sorry Bobby but you're either a complete idiot or a clueless casual if you think Russell and Ben are the best players lmao.
@@AllRequired Stepping on fingers is irrelevant. As long as you play the logo game, the jury is supposed to vote you to win.
Entertainer Ev Ben is bad but russels one of the best players to play the game
Russell is the best survivor i have ever seen.
Hate on him all you want, he changed the game forever and his success in the game speaks for itself. Truly one of the all time greats.
@xramborinox Plus, the only reason Parvati got to the end despite her reputation in Micronesia was because Fairplay basically quit, and in HvV because Russell put his life on the line for her sake, and it payed off.
Love shambo's reaction when Kelly goes
Could someone explain the last clip and how Laura being voted out was genius?!?!?!!
Thanks guys
3:20 haha Russel just stands up and pokes out his chest then looks around it's really funny when he plays idols
hes such a badass with that quote.
Teh Lai Chwee keep hope alive
Survivor Samoa was the best season!
See no-one thinks about this in Survivor, But if you can identify someones handwriting and who they're voting for collectively. Then you can easily identify secret or unknown alliances
I can't believe people don't think he should have won. It blows my mind. Both Natalie and Mick did not deserve it.
Russel was NEVER going to be allowed to win...period. TRUE FANS of this show know Russel Will ALWAYS BE THE MAN.
@My96XJ If they gave that tool Colby his own show on cable "Top Shot". They should give Russell his own game show called "If you're stupid, you're gone. That would be awsome. haha
This dude is awesome.
lol, 3 idols, gotta be the most memorable moment in survivor history along with rupert stealing shoes hahaha
@mrbrdo He has a huge advantage on Heroes vs Villains because noone on that cast has seen him play, Seeing as his season was being aired while they were filming Heroes v Villians
Back when I was younger, I hated this guy with every fiber of my being, and hated to see him back. But dammit, seeing this stuff now is so much fun
***** Redemption Island.
if Russell were to be on Game Changers he deserves to win
Never knew Keemstar was on this show
Yea russel is in the Heros vs villains!! And don't forget rurpert did the same thing with pearl islands and the all star one!!!
He was a JUGGERNAUT!
3:37 Keep Hope Alive...just like his tattoo...russell is the best player in survivor history...hopefully he comes back again and goes against what he said right before he left...the shows not good without you russell
The king
The tribal council in which Kelly goes home contains so much awesomeness. Dave not giving a shit his alliance will lose a player and just being a general dude and marking out, Brett with NO EMOTIONS the entire time even when Kelly receives a vote, Jayson's face after Russell got a vote as if he's the man even tho he did nothing, Laura thinking Shambo is on her side and Shambo with the worst fake reaction ever
Parvati and russel are so damn entertaining
Never get sick of seeing this haha
the GOAT
Bring this guy back
@xramborinox Between her and Sandra, yes. He's always believed he should've won.
Unfortunately Russell’s strategy works only for people who have never known him....
