This show is so great it’s one of those that you watched for so long and you really get to know the characters. I really loved it and I’m sad and happy that it ended, but it was a perfect ending for me.

Like, in Jane andMicheal’s wedding, they read their vows but here they didn’t, and they couldn’t wait to kiss but in Jane and Micheal they could. I ship Jane and Rafael!

I absolutely love how through the whole show Rafael was always selfless. Michael didn’t want to raise a baby made by another guy. And Rafael just wanted his last sperm sample. But Jane wanted the child. Michael didn’t tell Jane about Petra cheating on Rafael. Because he knew that Jane would want to keep the baby. Rafael always wanted what was best for Mateo and not wanting him to grow up struggling. Rafael didn’t tell Jane he didn’t want her to marry Michael, he just wanted her to be happy and saw that she was. Raf gave up his hotel and went to jail and got ran over by a crazy woman. And Michael couldn’t even quit his dangerous job. Rafael and Jane were meant to be. Honestly Justin Baldoni is just freaking hot but beside the point. I ship Jafael. That is love ❤️
Omg you just took the words right out of my mouth. That is why I don't understand Michael shippers. Both guys have their flaws, but Rafael was the most selfless when it came to Jane and Mateo. If I were Jane, the one thing I couldn't have gotten past was how Micheal was going to hide the truth about Petra and Roman. As a mother, this is an inexcusable character flaw and he never came clean on his own, he was caught lying about it. You are also right about the chemistry between Jane and Raf, when they were together I felt that glowing heart thing, but not with her and Michael.

I have a feeling the vows were just for each other, an opportunity for the actors to tell each other what their time together on the show has meant to them, similar to Jims teapot note to Pam in The Office, and maybe that’s why they weren’t read out loud
The thing is they have been saying their vows constantly throughout the last episodes of Jane the Virgin. I just loved it how they said their vows throughout the time period😭
I wish we could've heard them read their wows like maybe hear their inside voice reading. Wedding vows are one of the most beautiful and important part of a wedding so I was disappointed about that. I was also disappointed that we didn't get to see them do their wedding dance and the reception! We didn't get the full wedding experience with Jane and Rafael but their love was undeniable, they looked beautiful and their chemistry was top tier !
While I do really wish we got a bit of a flash forward with where everyone (especially the kids) was in the future, this was a perfect way to end the show

I thought it was actually perfect that we don’t know what they were. Reminds me of the teapot letter from The Office where Jim wrote a letter to Pam and we don’t know what it says. It could be that the two actors wrote a letter to one another about what their time on the show together meant to them
jane and rafael were always meant to be endgame. the writers have said this. this whole show is literally their love story. their love was much stronger and deeper than jane and michaels romance, 10000%. just look at the difference in their weddings.
oh and dont forget that jane did choose rafael over michael in the beginning of the show too. michael fans love to exclude that arc in season one from the narrative, but she did want to be with rafael over michael until rafael broke up with her. she has literally chosen rafael over michael twice, and it was pretty obvious she only chose michael in season two because rafael hurt her and michael was the safe choice. jane literally says in season five after returning from montana that she's "been careful her whole life and doesn't want to be careful anymore. she wants to be with rafael."

I really wanted her to stay with Michael, they were soulmates and they fit perfectly. Their love was pure, mature and just perfect. I still loved how she stayed with Rafael tho, because not everything happens like one wants and this shows it.
All this for the end? The writers are so terrible I'm not biased with Michael but this was just... lame. Writers should pay us for watching this sereis on how bad they made it turn... to sad
