Watch this video on our website: www.dreamingspanish.com/watch...
At Dreaming Spanish, you will learn Spanish the way you learned your native language, namely, through immersion. Simply start watching content at a level that is comprehensible to you, and gradually work your way towards more and more advanced videos.
As researchers like Dr. Stephen Krashen have shown over the past 40+ years, receiving comprehensible input, that is, messages that you can understand in the target language, is what actually results in language acquisition.
By listening to our stories, cultural expositions, conversations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation.
Experience the language. Become the language.

You learn so much new vocabulary this way! Okay? Gracias to our super mexicana for an excellent and inspiring video. I had no idea you could use the verb 'ocupar' to mean 'to use'. Only in Mexico! hehe :-) ..........Okay?

The pandemic turned me into a cook of sorts, so I am now going to surprise my wife by trying to use your recipe for a similar dish for our daily meal. Thanks to you and your photographer for an excellent video!

¡Me encanta tu Delantal del gallo! Muy precioso... me se hace la boca agua, no?! Una chica de Madrid que vivió con nosotros me enseñó una receta similar con la berenjena rellenada pero sin esta salsa rica. Oye! Me llama mucho la atención tu bote/tarro enorme de orégano! Te gusta mucho el orégano, eh?! Gracias por el video. Siempre tienes mucha energía y eres divertida.

Seems like Mexican Spanish is losing the word Vale/Dale, meaning OK.
She uses OK a lot instead , so I'm guessing due to the influence from the US it's evolving.
I've noticed that I dont really hear OK in Spain , but Vale is still used a lot there.
In Italy they use OK a lot too.
Very interesting how one little word has become so influential.

    Great video!
By the way, canela = cinnamon and pimienta negra = black pepper, right? I know this channel doesn't like translations, but just want to clarify before I mix the wrong thing into my salsa :)

¡Yup! My tip for finding out what a new word means without looking it up in a dictionary is to image search for the word. Then you can usually figure it out from the pictures.

Creo que sí esto es el “comprehensible input”? Ella habla bastante rápido y hay un eco en la cocina. Entendí sí mucho pero hay mucho que hice no. Como la salsa. Ella cocina una mezcla de cebollas y jitomates en la estufa pero cuando casi terminó añadió un envase de salsa que ya se hecho? Estoy confuso.

Ha añadido la otra salsa para calentarla. Ya tenía preparado un poco de salsa antes, pero hizo más. Y al final las mezcló.
