- Hey everyone, Montoir is a new brand launching on Kickstarter this week, and I was able to get one in hand for a few days recently. All the info is in the video, but probably what most are concerned with is the price, so super early birds will be able to snag a Sellita SW200-1, Swiss Made Dive watch for $375. Thank you so much for the review Don - really appreciate your honest opinions and great notes. A few things for the viewers...The strap is a sample strap, actual production strap will be molded to fit precisely with the lugs as well as have branding on the back. The lume dot / pip in production will line up perfectly with 12H, also the feedback on bezel turn will be even better. Any prototype issues where addressed and fixed. Thank you again hope to see all on-board. :)
Hello Don - Great review as always, and very much appreciated. This watch caught my attention immediately because of its design and great specifications. I am a skin diver fan, and this watch seems to bring together a great package. I however, did not join the KS campaign right away, kept thinking about it, and today I did finally pull the trigger. I hope the QC issues identified are corrected, because other than that this is a very nice piece, and at the super early bird price a great value too. I wish the brand good luck, I really hope this is a very successful campaign.
I’m sure the issues on the sample will be corrected. Again this is a production sample, so I feel compelled to mention the issues as it’s what I have in hand to go on, at the same time trying to stress this isn’t a final product. Very rarely do I get prototypes that are 💯 perfect. There were 8 other samples and I believe I was sent an early version on it.
Also thank you for watching and glad the review helped with your decision. I hope that campaign is successful-it looks to be already and delivery goes smoothly (or as smooth as these things usually go).

El bezel esta hecho de pintura barata. Tengo 1 y se le fue el color . Jajajajaja deben mejorar eso

Design technicals, case dims etc are much different, also we are swiss-made but maybe because the rare "flat" style bezel insert look - Thanks for your comment :)

Yes, I agree. I would like to see the date delete on the movement but otherwise it’s a nice looking piece.

This is a modified and customized sw200, we removed the ghost date. Highly efficient and customized.
Great video - is that a black bezel or a blue bezel matching the dial? Hard for me to tell from the video… thanks!
It’s hard to catch it period. It’s like a dark bluish-green and it doesn’t match the blue dial like the renderings show. I mention this in the written review (apologies for forgetting to mention in video). I’m hoping production models match more.

Just looked at KS and it's listed as cancelled in July! Doesn't inspire confidence

Correct Stuart that was based on mutual parting of a mfg partner. We had no other option but to stop the campaign and relaunch here in October to not keep all waiting :) we are ready to go and are expected to have a great launch. Thank you so much for your comment and thank you for the well wishes.

Looks like they cancelled the campaign (not kickstarter or anything like that), and it may have been due to low traction, which I’ve seen before

Where did I say or type NH35? It’s an SW200.
