I love my imperial blue plumbago. I am in Seaside, California, and it is full of blue flowers all summer, beginning in March or April and blossoming into November. It gets very 'leggy', so every fall, around Thanksgiving, I cut it back to its base, and every year it grows back to a height of about 7 feet and a circumference of around 10 or 12 feet.
Beautiful plant and thank you for all the info too So glad UA-cam recommended your channel in my feed Really enjoying all your videos and your knowledge and sharing of is awesome The smile on your face as you finish tasks or while doing genuinely shows your love of your art😃
It grows back just fine. Where I live zone 9a it dies back every year in winter after a hard frost and come back in March like weed no problem. The frost controls its size for me. It even came back after Texas freeze , when a lot of very hardy plants have died . I think it will do fine in zone 7 in a protect area because it comes back like a herbaceous perennial every year
Rarely do we get this much info about a plant. This is just what I needed to know. Thanks!
Thank you for helping me better understand this species and to appreciate it more!
And thank YOU for watching!
Thank you so much! You were so informative and answered one of my most important questions.

Its been planted outside of my apartment and used as a hedge to which isnt my favorite for that use but still is very pretty blue full and hardy!
Nice garden, ample space. And nice to visit beautiful CA again, online if must be ;0-)
