Amen my friend. Both China & Japan yes as it is externally harder to be a Christian in those two countries. But even in more supportive countries such as South Korea (where I'm from) and even the US (where I live) because outward expression doesn't always equate to true faith. Saw a video about Japanese history, supposedly there was a time Japan could have become Christian. But whoever it was decided to kill all Christians in Japan, and they did kill them all.
UA-cam has been recommending this video to me for months now, despite me not speaking any Japanese. I finally clicked it and watched all of it. I love that Jesus is still working strongly in Japan, despite so few knowing Him. The faith of those believers there must burn brightly and purely, and the genuine love of the gospel is on full display.

I know there were some sincere Japanese Christians who came to Korea for evangelism works during the colonised era, and vice versa. Such a beautiful history of Church both in Japan and Korea. In our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we are all brothers and sisters. May the Lord grant the revival in Japan, in this perilous last time.

I started learning Japanese when I was 12 on my own (I didn’t know why but I felt led to it). For years I thought I would just use it to study abroad which I really wanted to do as a teenager. It never happened though and as I started medical school I didn’t have much time to practice. At the time I wasn’t Christian, now however I’ve been saved for 5 years and I feel the Lord rekindling the desire to return to my Japanese studies only this time with a purpose; visiting Japan for missions 🙌🏼 perhaps even medical missions in the smaller islands around the mainland if it’s in His plans. I praise the Lord because for many years I wondered if all my time dedicated to learning the language was just a childish waste of time but I’m living proof that nothing is wasted by our God 🙌🏼
How calm my heart is, how happy I am. Listening to the hymns heals my heart, and my faith in our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, makes my spirit grow strong. May all of God's creations praise and thank Him for His abundant love for all of us until the end of our lives. May we all be granted peace and prosperity every day. Amen GBU🙏

I started learning Japanese when I was 12 on my own (I didn’t know why but I felt led to it). For years I thought I would just use it to study abroad which I really wanted to do as a teenager. It never happened though and as I started medical school I didn’t have much time to practice. At the time I wasn’t Christian, now however I’ve been saved for 5 years and I feel the Lord rekindling the desire to return to my Japanese studies only this time with a purpose; visiting Japan for missions 🙌🏼 perhaps even medical missions in the smaller islands around the mainland if it’s in His plans. I praise the Lord because for many years I wondered if all my time dedicated to learning the language was just a childish waste of time but I’m living proof that nothing is wasted by our God 🙌🏼
