I think it would be helpful to hear more as to why you weren't able to be there for Danielle when she younger. Danielle's phone call to you, as you described at 0:40, is an expected, normal behavior after being hurt for so many years. Her anger and hostility is not a character flaw, rather it is a symptom of an underlying problem.
At 2:04 Danielle's step mother bashes Danielle with judgement and criticism. I noticed she is wearing long sleeves and has tattoos on both wrists - should we be judging her? Of course not, nor should we be judging Danielle.
I cringe anytime a parent says that their child needs to go to a "program". Don't get me wrong, there are excellent programs available, but the problem doesn't appear to be solely Danielle. It isn't just Danielle who could benefit from treatment.
At 3:27 Danielle's father states, "when she gets better ..... then she has an opportunity to be a child and she could live in our home". That statement speaks volumes to her father as a parent. Part of being a parent, in my opinion, is loving your child unconditionally. I can speak first hand to the fact that setting conditions like this for Danielle will exacerbate her anger, hostility, and resentment. Danielle should be and should have been allowed in your house and as part of your family regardless of what she is/was going through. If Danielle was diabetic I'm sure her father wouldn't say, "when she gets better....etc". It is important to understand that mental illness is no different than a medical illness - the stigmatizing needs to stop.
It is certainly understandable to disagree with her demeanor, the things she says, the things she talks about, and the lyrics in her songs. However, you have a choice here. Words are powerful and your words toward Danielle and about Danielle can be used one of two ways - either to hurt or to heal.

Let's keep it real here. Both Danielle's mother and father are to be held accountable for her outlandish behavior. First of all, we know how baby-mama's can act so pissed off and crazy when they have a child by a guy who doesn't want them or leaves them for another woman. They use the child as a fucking pawn. They make it difficult, if not impossible for the baby daddy to see the child because the child is the only thing they can control and use to control him on some level. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that her mother's hatred and contempt she held for the father of her baby, who left her for another woman used Danielle in this way as pay-back. She filled Danielle's head up with her feelings about her father and Danielle took on her mother's anger that turned into her own pain of feeling rejected by the father.
The same woman who later took her 13 yr old daughter on The Dr.Phil Show saying she was out of control and called her the "antichrist". All she wanted at that time was help for Danielle. What does she want now? Danielle's net worth is over a million dollars now because she was "Out of control". She's still "out of control" in attitude and behavior and mom is super OK with that. NOW. Money and Danielle's fame or infamy, whichever you prefer, made the so-called concerned and loving mother perfectly OK with Danielle's demeanor.
Now there's the father: I feel like, as many have said here, he could have tried harder. I read an article in the Palm Beach Post where he said Bregoli was abusive to him and so he filed for a protection order against her. But he also said that SHE should keep the child until later ---OK, hold up. That was mistake number one. IF this lady was being abusive, and I have NO doubt she was, why the FUCK would he think it was a good idea to leave the baby with her?!!! He should have tried to ALSO get Danielle removed from baby mama for Danielle's own safety. Obviously, Danielle needed it. Baby mama's who use their children as tools against men who did them wrong really have no true motherly love for their children. They are often abusive towards them too as they are a reminder of the father. But the truth seems more likely that daddy didn't want the responsibility of the baby. He didn't want to take the extra time and spend the money for the care of his child. Paying monthly child support was so much easier than being the residential parent who had to be sure every physical and emotional need of this child were met. Out of sight, out of mind. I do not believe that he thought of her every single day. Who could think of their child daily and not take action to fight for them, to see them, to be IN their lives?

I also think that the girlfriend, who became his wife, didn't want to deal with it either. She wanted him only for herself and she DID NOT want the child he had. With Danielle's mother being a typical, control-freak, psycho stereotypical baby mama, she (girlfriend/wife) didn't want deal with her either. Too much baby-mama drama. And yes, sadly, a woman who makes a lot of baby mama drama, the men tend to stay far away.

You really should have stepped up back then regardless of what your gf/wife wanted. Danielle is your daughter. I believe you have the right mind and maybe you know better now and you see what you're not being involved has helped create. But you should have stepped up sooner. I guess better late than never. ~

At the end of the day, she grew up with her mother. However crazy or difficult their relationship might be or has been, her mother, that one that exploits her for the security of money and fame now is all she's ever known. Who's fault is that?

Parental Alienation does a lot actually, and if the courts rule against you there is nothing you can do. The court system is mother/woman sympathetic. It's not about the welfare of the child, it's about the primitive ideal that a mother should be with the child and that's SO wrong. Fighting that system as a man is futile as hell. You can only fight for custody three times, if you lose twice you are fucked and the courts always side with the woman. If you don't follow orders of visitation, then the mother can have you locked up for contempt of court and a whole bunch of other shit. Take it from someone whose seen it first hand. This is why far more more men than women commit suicide annually. The family courts.

Her mother would not let him see the kid and fought for full custody. The court system doesn't care even if the mother is on drugs 🤷♀️ they'll grant her custody simply because she's the mother. Then parental alienation comes in. She alienated her daughter against the father. Therefore the daughter hates her father.
