It’s a tragedy that John wasn’t on during the insurrection. Can you imagine the shows we would have gotten? Man, really missed him then. There’s just no one that can mix humor with razor sharp insight like Oliver.
Well, I do have a tendency to wonder what he'd be saying about things that happen when his show is on break, but I'm also a little glad he didn't have to because I think many of these issues sincerely do pain him, so I'm happy to think the weight is off him once in awhile. I don't know if he CAN relax, but at least he theoretically has the option.
He didn't play the fiddle while Rome was burning, I respect that.
He'll have to talk about it because I'm sure he's going to talk about the impeachment trial
I so desperately craved hearing his input, he always makes me feel better about things without resorting to naive optimism while simultaneously laying down the cold, difficult facts.

thank god, i was having major problems getting my weekly john oliver contents.
His eye brows haven't aged one day!
He's only 2 years older than I am... He's fairly young... Only about to be 44... In his prime as are all people in their 40s...
....his hair has.....he's going grey already....a bit like his mentor Jon Stewart.....
@@panchopuskas1 I had a full head of grey at 25 👵🏼😂
“....🤣😂🤣😂🤣, isn’t that a most fascinating thing”!!! G-Mommie
So, is John just living in the white void now?
His hair appears to be
A white void is basically a room full of trump supporters
Plot twist: the white void has always been his home :)
Photographers call that a "limbo" background.
You can't see the erotic rat portraiture, or the posters of Adam Driver.
You know him for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, I know him for Professor Duncan. We are not the same.
I missed laughing. I didn't realize it until now. I have not had a belly laugh in four years!
wow...
I’m in NZ...it really is amazing being here! God bless America!
Thank you. Glad to know your doing so well. Stay safe and bless you too. 😍
“Fall in love with someone, don’t express it, and die.” Oh is that a British thing? Guess I’m British... 😂😂😂
I somehow felt compelled to check out your channel just to make sure you were okay 😅😂
@@renobutters I’m “okay” thanks for caring 🙃
It goes back at least as far as Shakepeare: she never told her love but let concealment feed upon her damask cheek
Pure Mark Corrigan
The Remains of the Day is the film
Such an enjoyable experience to revel at 2 of the best, thanks!!
Garth Brook's formal jeans... my god that's perfect
John Olivers dimples make him look so adorable.
So true.
Absolutely!!
I still can’t quite believe that he wanted to become an American citizen... He is so incredibly English - and he’s a huge loss for the Brits. Gotta love him - except maybe his sense of romance :)
Most Brits are not that keen on him,he tries too hard to be funny or shock, try watching Frankie Boyle,or Sean Locke.
He’s still a British national. He’s a dual citizen.
@@gregc2467 those two are epically funny, good examples!!
@@gregc2467 is that supposed to be a bad thing, that his comedy isn’t adored by his countrymen? It certainly has zero impact on my feelings or the opinion of anyone I know so....🤷🏻♀️🙄
England may become the 51st state soon anyways
It’s like we are all recovering from an abusive relationship. That includes republicans if they could just admit it.
That will be a long and rocky road for them considering they're all suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. Some will never recover.
Republicans are the spouse that protects the abuser.
We are
What a great chemistry between these two guys. I think Felix and Oscar would approve of an odd couple remake.
So true - I remember seeing a bumper sticker back in the fall; “Any Functioning Adult in 2020.” Yep.
We sure didn't get one
Heh-heh, I had that bumper sticker 😏
