Always look forward to your Seahawks videos! I’m very appreciative of your deep coverage to this team. Just glad that my hawks have given you performances worth analyzing
The defense is getting better. Communication and cohesion ⬆️ . I’m excited to see how we play at home. Our defense has been worse at home imo bc they haven’t learned how to communicate over the 12’s. This will be a test.
So I had to get excited about watching a video. It made me wonder and ask myself why I get this way about the all 22 videos. My best conclusion is that for so long Seattle has had a bad OL which has caused the running game to be crap, which makes it hard for us to be competitive unless we have a stringy good passing game. Even then when the opponent does not respect our running game and can focus on our passing game it just chokes us and makes it hard to win games. The fact that this is such an upgrade for the team To be able to run the ball, as well as run play action passes is a game changer. So great to watch the pieces come together. Thanks for all your effort
It's crazy to think how good Tyrice Knight is going to be going forward. He's already doing some things at a really high level. I hope we can keep Knight and Jones together for a few years.
Great film i would like to see AJ Barner's on One Play Wednesday trucking the db Zach Wilson . I was intrigued by his reaction after getting trucked .thank you sir .
The more you cover the glitch blitz the more I think about what could have been if we had a prime Jamal Adams playing under Macdonald's system. Seems like his skillset really would have benefitted from those sorts of playcalls and he would have really shined as much as his days playing for the Jets. That said I really think that Love has gotten to shine in his own way this year and he's playing like a top 15-10 safety and Macdonald's defense really does a lot to bring out the skillset of ALL the players. This is basically exactly why the management brought him in: fix the defense that has MORE than enough talent to thrive and sustain the offensive talent we have. I feel like the team identity is finally being established and I'm excited to see what he does to build on this in 2025, especially knowing how big of a jump Baltimore's defense took in his second year and when we get an opportunity to improve the OLine, but in the meantime the rest of 2024 should be a fun time. Hopefully we can snag a win off of one of the Packers/Vikings and clinch the division, but even if we don't make the playoffs the end of the season should basically tell us how the team competes against some elite teams in the NFL and help them build a team that's competing for the conference championship in 2025.
I do feel this D is just getting started. I still don’t think McDonald has shown 1/4 of his deck yet. I think he’s got a bunch of blitz’s in his bag that he hasn’t shown yet. Love the content!!!
Great choices on the plays. I think the defense is definitely improving. When they stopped the Jets on their last 8 drives in week 13 it seemed they were flying all over the field.
Is the defense getting better? A resounding yes. There are likely several reasons, learning the system being paramount, but I'd suggest that the most significant reason is the realignment at off ball linebackers. Jones IV and Knight have skills and drive the previous two lacked. As they work together they "learn" each other and become more complementary. Their higher level skill and performance gives the front line guys more confidence in having capable backup so that they can take more "risks" through aggressive playing. Likewise the back end guys can take similar level risks by being more aggressive because they trust the better support. Synergy in action...............
Terrifying test for seattle im shocked how well the defense has stepped up if the chiefs proved anything it's the value of good defense Im glad Seattle's starting to improve I'm still a bit concerned with the run defense especially when the NFC has saquon barkley I don't want the team to get it's manhood stripped from a good run game
The defense is going to be even more terrifying after another off season and drafting/signing more Macdonald guys. Murphy will take that next step as well. If they can get one more stud young pass rusher either d line or outside, yikes
@ALL. How did Uchena play his first week back last week? So many fans are trying to monitor that situation to determine if Our overall pass rush situation will improve with him back in the lineup
@ My pleasure. One of the best things in life is to create win-win situation’s. In this example, the fans could potentially get to see a little bit more of a player they are very interested in following, and you have an opportunity to provide additional contact an area currently not really being focused, on which could draw a lot more people in to see your GREAT work. Perfect.
I’m torn on Riq. He’s talented but also lazy. I haven’t missed a single game since he’s been on the field and man he drives me crazy. I already know going into games on Sunday that he’s the weak link in the secondary and that’s including jobe. Do I think Jobe is better? Hell na, it’s just that Riq gets lazy. When he’s playing lights out it’s hard to get around him and that wing span but I’d bet he goes all out like 5% of the time. He HEAVILY relies on his speed to bail him out.
Telling the opposing receiver to motion before he does it is actually insane work
As an Aussie that only discovered NFL in the last 10 years thanks for the knowledge you share.
Go Hawks.

Let's show some love for all these great breakdowns, by hitting that 'like' button! Go Hawks!

Nicely done. Thanks for the analysis.
Nice job explaining! Enjoyable to see and not just react. Thank You.

That will have to be a project for later tonight or Thursday. Thank you for the suggestion. I have always liked his game.

@ksoonsoon agree. Perfectly said. Thank you
Uchenna had a few pressures check him out on the goal line and 1 play mid field he got held would've been a sack
Still not running on all cylinders yet. They need a blue chip safety like hamilton to glue everything together.
I just can't pin down your accent man. You sound like you're from Kentucky, Canada.
Hawks all day!!

Never without you would we have caught Big Cat making the 3rd down tackle 10 yards behind him, after having pushed in the pocket. Amazing.
