Well seeing as how her parents are millionaires and can afford to pay for the very best for her, I do t see what reason she would have to not be happy!
Rob Warner is brilliant interviewer and down to earth. All his interview's are great subjects. The original Mtbiking started in the beginning when cycles first started when there was not many roads sometime in the 19th century even before cars became popular. It is fascinating to see the progress over the years and started to be more popular around the seventies Cheers
Rob you have always been a great biker and person but seeing you taking better lines than Kate and then eating real Mexican Taco's was priceless. Keep up the great interviews. Saludos de México
I love the fact that there are women in this sport. They bring a lot to the game and have a lot to teach all mountain bikers. I am a man and personally find these women more inspiring than I do male athletes.
That was great. I grew up in Marin too and went to Redwood. I rode road bmx and then road bikes before building a 5-speed clunker with chrome Red Line forks and big Carlisle front tire in '85. I rode up Eldrige or Shafer and bombed down sometimes Fish Grade. I ran x-country my last year of HS. I love your story because you were able to ride out from your place and go all over (up Rock Springs I bet). I was thinking that there is a fire road that comes off Eldrige and connects to the Crown Road area. Like top of Harry Allen Tr. Your family home is amazing. My parents lived right above the beach at Muir. I could run Coastal, mt. bike through Zen Center to the Bridge, or Diaz Ridge or Deer Park to Old Stage or Coastal to Muir Overlook. I have watched a few of your videos and they have been exciting. I hope you stay safe and have a stellar career! Marin rules. Your story reminds me of Johnny Mosely from Tiburon where I also lived (and dirt skied). The foggy day riding in Marin is sublime...like on Old Spring out of Tennessee. I live in Salt Lake City and am going skate skiing today. I rode Alpine Dam Bolinas Ridge this Summer. What a nostalgic trip and steep ride! After Mt Bikes came in, I stopped road riding there. Do you run Hoo-Koo-ee-koo or road bike? Cheers.
David Brock No way! In the Bay Area (San Fransicko) that’s worth no less than $5M probably more like $10M+...they’ve got acreage. It’s her parents house as shown in the beginning of the video. She graduated from Stanford so you have to be just a bit intelligent and incredibly well spoken.
Hope she does great. Sadly, we in the US don't get to ride on muddy trails like a lot of the European, especially UK, riders get to. Most trails close at the whisper of rain. Hard to train for that in the US. A 10th place in her 2nd elite race in the mud is very respectable. GO KATE! :-)
Well, some of it has to do with soil type too, I know where I live there's a higher risk of erosion, but where I went to school the substrate was different so the trails were open year round even though there's more rain.
Funny how the edit shows the end of that trail in the middle and how you came down the climb up, after it's over at the end. However, done that trail 100x and never seen Kate :(
Valentin Maissen - Not much different in DH, either. There are only about 4 women who even have a chance of winning any race throughout the season. In Junior Women DH, all you have to do is show up and complete the course and you're guaranteed a podium, because there aren't even enough to fill a podium sometimes. All the women are in road cycling.
Absolutely awesome ambassador for the sport. I follow her social media accounts and every post radiates positivity, a true passion for the sport, and a genuine fun-loving personality - and she's seriously hot too! Kate Courtney, marry me? 😂
Here in PA trails suck. There are very few trails that are good/okay. I have to drive and hour..... to ride a decent trail. Farthest I've driven for a trail was 3.5 hours...... ffs😠. In other news she is amazing and best of luck to her.
Good video Rob as someone your Dads age or perhaps older to me you were the first big personality in mountain biking. However should add Martyn's up there with you now. Katie is certainly a great rider and it just amazes me how petite young girls like her have such strong leg muscles. They put me to shame.
She’s Super hot🔥, a pro mountain biker, joyful and down to earth. This just a dream package 💥🤩💥 BUT Please ➡️ Next time you go eat Tacos, give your mechanic an extra ratio he needs something to cover his skeleton body 😅
This was such a genuine interview. Her attitude radiates positivity.
Loved this!
A beautiful house, amazing trails around the corner, sweet bikes and tacos al pastor... a dream life.
Kate Courtney is an absolute monster on the bike, one of the fittest people on earth - and seems to be a genuine, fun, happy person.
Well seeing as how her parents are millionaires and can afford to pay for the very best for her, I do t see what reason she would have to not be happy!
Rob is the coolest cat in the commentating business!
Yep! 😎
Wyn masters is a pretty cool cat too. Rob and Wyn would make a dynamic duo of commentating and interviewing
Cam mccaul makes a good commentateur for freeride and slopestyke
cant imagine the sport without him... down to earth and real and we need more rob doing these ...

World Champion 2018 !!
Shredder! Kate is rad. Nice childhood home-geez
Michael Clark Insane house.
Typical middle class californian girl. Not only by her house, but the look too.
Idonteatdog definitely upper class with that house. A house like that in Marin county is a fortune
Middle class? Marin county is the top of the food chain in the bay area and a house like that is in the millions.
Well, the californian middle class isn't exactly the average middle class, it's a rich state, with higher standards.
She's a great rider and it's an awesome video. Still, we need a full tour of those house and property. That's an amazing location.
Who do you want Rob to meet next? Let us know below!
Red Bull I'd pay good money to see Rob and Wyn in the same show, but couldn't pay me to clean up the aftermath 😀
simon andreassen :)
Sam hill
Emily Batty would be good, or Manual Fumic he's one of the last of the old guard still in the hunt
Jolanda Neff
Redbull is killing it with their UA-cam channel great job guys
"You never go easier, you just go slower"
Rob you have always been a great biker and person but seeing you taking better lines than Kate and then eating real Mexican Taco's was priceless. Keep up the great interviews. Saludos de México
LOL, I noticed the better lines too
How is it Rob has never had a taco?!...MIND BLOWN....=)
Hard to find a taco in England.
That taqueria is so good. Eat there after riding in SC all the time.
First time viewer Rob thanks to You and Kate for a great interview and trail ride, fantastic.
Can't belive I just found this video... rob was on mt tam.. I miss everything. Tam is my home mt. Ride it every day.
Rob was the steeziest rider of all three though
Harry McGarvie you can’t be steezy when wearing Lycra so he was the only option.
They are xc riders they look so retarded lol
lol once my friend came street riding with Lycra it was so funny
MAKE MORE OF THESE!!! so fun to watch.
Proud of you Kate, I’m rooting for ya!!!
Man that's a beautiful countryside. California doesn't seem so bad outside of LA and SF.
The dog licking Rob, his crooked head stand, lol, this was good. She is a true champion!
Something about all that positive attitude and calm (and her results!) tells me she must work insanely hard!
Makes me want to go and get better!
Nice riding Rob!
And this year she has done just that 👌🏼🔥
Awe Santa Cruz my home town 🎉love the trails all over that town . Some of the best for bike riding adventures 😊 🚴
I love the fact that there are women in this sport. They bring a lot to the game and have a lot to teach all mountain bikers. I am a man and personally find these women more inspiring than I do male athletes.
Loving these Rob meets series, great work. Keep it up
Going to be second overall in 2019 World Cup at the very least - only 73 points between Kate Courtney Jolanda Neff going in final race (US round).
And Well done Kate Courtney a epic gutsy 2019 World Cup XCO champion.
Jolanda Neff
@@surfinDelMar thank you - realised my spelling error after didn't correct, now corrected.
Beautiful Mountain Trails
Great interview!! Love Rob Warner!👍👍👍

She's dialed in, well spoken and attractive. She comes from some money too if that's her crib in the begging of the vid.
That's a $3,000,000 crib.

And she has done it in style!
In other news, the ENTIRETY of Marin County is Mount Tam now
Supposedly she went to Tamalpais High, fwiw
What a great person.....
Rob on tacos, "They're like little pizzas!" Ha ha ha!
Can we please talk about how awesome that pupper is!
You definitely picked the best lines down that Rooty drop section. Mechanic dude was almost going over the bars.
That house is sick !
I love this girl
Rob should definitely pay a visit to Jaroslav Kulhavy. A bit underrated, yet he has won everything he could ;)
World champion!!!!!
Good rider and lovely piece! Love XC trail!

Enjoyed that Mr Warner

MTNMYKE Is it the uc trail system?
I would never jump anything with that high of a seat. Props to her!
Rob is such a downhill racer hucking of everything
I bet Kate could race enduro and do well also.
honestly i believe a lot of the top crosscountry women could. the level is sadly pretty low in the ews womens.
enduro is a recreational sport.

Did u see the most recent ews tracks? Sam Hill cudnt even ride 1 of the sections without crashing.
Taqueria Los Pericos is so friggin good. I miss santa cruz :)
7:00 yes bro!
Kake + Mount Talm = Amazing
Need more BRAD!!!! #bbcopeland
Great episode.
Aww hell, I got a new line outta this one. "it's time to put your big girl chamois on." LOL!
MTB + Tacos al pastor, perfect combination.🌮🌯🚴🚴
Go Kate!!!🇺🇲
1:30 Kate is the splitting image of Elizabeth Olsen
On 11:20, that alternative line from Warner haha Easy peazy around, meanwhile the rest headbangs the whole thing haha
Guess she could learn from rob there :)
Her house is astonishing as her skills
Trail shredding starts at 10:15
Very insightful
I can't wait till I move back to the Bay!
Watching for the Capra!
Los pericos is fire! I haven’t been to Santa Cruz since the fires any one know if any of the trails survived?
haha fair play to rob and the team these are actually really entertaining
Rob needs to fire his wardrobe person.
He's his own wardrobe person.
Mark Jolley he needs to fire himself
what!? that camo button-up is 🔥
Evil Fish Arkansas tuxedo
I could only see his head for most of the video
She's on top alright.. with Scott
MTB 4 life
Kate`s eye color... All colors of Californian landscapes there. :)
Is the XCC short course not going to be televised on RedBull TV??
What a dream boat
World CAMP XCO 2018!
and i thought i was the least flexible man alive, well done rob!
Great series from the funniest guy in mtb
Wyn Masters is always good for a laugh to mate
great video! so funny that Kate loves tacos al pastor! nice!
Kate’s parents did OK. She’s clearly lead a very privileged life. Wow.
Yes los pericos
Rob didn't know what a taco was!? LOL
Tacos!!! My post ride meal choice
Absolutely awesome ambassador for the sport. I follow her social media accounts and every post radiates positivity, a true passion for the sport, and a genuine fun-loving personality - and she's seriously hot too! Kate Courtney, marry me? 😂

Mtn biking started on Mt Tam 30 years ago...??? You're off by at least 10, and then some!
That's a true statement, cyclists are their own harshest critics!
YT in the house
SANTA CRUZ!!!!
What and where is that trail ridden?
That taco shop is literally down the street from my house.
Where, near Mt. Tam?

Quality.
I'm in love!
What glasses is Kate and her mechanic wearing?
What was the trial before the tacos? Never seen it? And that's hard for me to stay. Grew up riding in marin. Someone please tell me I wanna ride
@@mattwendling267 ranger danger. The people who starva illegal trails really don't help it.
